Very good mod. I have been here since the idea of the mod being made. (a long time ago) not sure if it works for 1.36.1 but I'm assuming now. I tried it with out mods just now but I will check again later with just this mod.

Can you add some events? .that my immortal son or daughter or ruler does not die of a disease? Because it says in the Immortal character trait that this character cannot die from disease or physical illness and in Eu4 it still dies from disease....

I updated the mod after a long time. It looked like a lot of the changes I made in the files were added to the base game over the years, so hopefully there isn't too much different.

I believe I adjusted the old files to be more or less in sync with the many changes that have been made but if yall notice something wacky with the gameplay after the update then let me know.

So I probably should have said this a long time ago, but I guess better late than never. Basically the mod will no longer be updated. I have been playing EU4 since early 2014 and while it was an extremely fun game for me for several years, it has run its course for me as of early this year. I had hoped that making this mod would bring back my interest in the game, but even after making the mod I still did not enjoy the game.

I will look to find out how I can provide the files for my mod so that others can make their own version for those of you who still want to use it in the future.

Thank you all for supporting this mod since it's release. I wish you all well.

Love your mod but where I can see the tweaks this mod do to the game? The old one had a link to the changes this mod do to the vanilla game. Now I dont see any link in the description...

@Emib I have been fairly busy, but this weekend I will be making an update and I will look at the estates and make adjustments including a change to missionary cost.

Can I suggest to change the clergy estates privilege that gives the "-20% missionaries cost" with something more useful ?
In this mod the converting doesn't cost anything, so I changed it with the bonus "plus one missionary"

Why is everything so cheap in this? Armies, building, everything. It makes single player extremely easy. Would it not be better just to fix the mechanics that need to be fixed and keep the rest how they are? It seems like you want to fix everything and in turn instead of fixing you just disabled or turn them off and thus making the game insanely easy.

Very odd though, the mods I'm using are either graphical or my own which should be compatible with yours (they were last patch).

@Darius Make sure you are not using other mods. This mod is not compatible with most other mods.
I have not seen those issues when I test the mod on my end so I would assume it is an issue on your end.

When using your mod in the current patch the only thing that changes are the special building prices from 500 to 200.
Base value of mana gain is still 3 and there's still a religious conversion cost.
Any solutions?

@SirLanceGamer with the base 200 governing capacity that countries get, you can have 20,000 development without penalty at the beginning of the game, and it goes into the hundreds of thousands as you unlock all the techs and other ideas.

We will also be looking to see if we can remove the remaining government cap and then change any related bonuses to something else this weekend.

so development has changed so 100 development is worth 1 governing capacity. giving us a max statable development around 15.000 ish after techs, admin ideas, rank, government reform and hegemon

with the new patch coming out on June 9th, I will be updating the mod that weekend, so expect the mod to be updated on the 13th or 14th. I might have time to update the mod during the week, but I have work so don't count on it.

just so everyone is aware, I have not been working on the mod for several weeks now, but I will be updating the mod when the new patch comes out.

I may not have the time to update until the weekend after the patch though, so at worst it will take until the Sunday after the new patch to finish updating the existing changes in the mod to work on the new patch and to make some changes to things like marines and administrative cap.

Is it possible, to like, get a duplicate of a mod without the manufactories rework?
Because due to that reason, it conflicts with Idea variation full version, and light version of said mod is just cancer.

Hi, I'm just wondering what's the real scope of the reduction in RNG effect. Apart from combat rolls, have you also reduced other RNG aspects of the game like siege rolls, shettlers increase chance, ruler and generals generation, effects of random events, etc?

@pk065 yes it is set that way to prevent AI from using it and creating very awkward situations. @Captain this mod is incompatble with most mods i would guess, since it modifies so many files in so many different folders.

This is a great mod, however I have noticed one odd effect. It effects the random heir generated for monastic orders. When I un-hid what each option would be in the event before you when you had the monarch skill minimum at 2 most heirs would be 2/2/2 with maybe one or two points up. With the minimum not set at one you get more variation mostly stuff like 3/3/1. With either setting no candidate will be at a max be it 5 or 6. However if I look at base game one option will pretty much always have a 6. So, it seems like messing with base monarch, monarch points screws up how random candidates are generated.

Does this mod allow vassals to add provinces to the HRE? Or is that in the works? I don't care for the gamey exploit people use with that for IA, I just hate having to work around by coring, adding, then finally releasing the vassal or client. Would be really cool to have back.

@basileus, no it isnt ironman compatible.
@Danieczek, i changed it from 2-6 to 1-5 and increased base power gain from 4 to 5. Some events and modifiers could only be triggered if you had a ruler with a stat below 2, so this change should fix that. I will be looking more at other events and triggers that look at monarch stats to see if I need to change anything else
