Good mission, tough start. And I had one badguy hiding in the woods which made taking the village a hide and go seek experience. But working with the other teams was fun!

It could have been nice to have an autoSave after landing, so it does take 10 hours getting back to the AO if I get killed...

Really nice mission, not sure if it was missions or armas fault, but my units really liked to crawl long distances....

With forced stand up command they started to behave.

Daka: TPW AI mod, AI cover mod, Copy stance addon and some unit addons, but I had them installed even when I started the mission for the first time and it worked smoothly. I'll try to completely remove mission data, redownload them and let you know if it helped.

@Desmond: Yep, I thought of that, though I wanted to stick to the original name of the mission, since it's a loose remake of an OFP (ArmACWA) campaign mission.

@gto.tt: I've put in the following line to the helicoter's init line: "heli1 setcaptive true;" <-- where "heli1" is the helicopter's name.

My only criticism is that taking the town was a little too easy.

@Ombre: I've been thinking the same thing. I'm tinkering around with the ArmA3 support module, and if I manage to understand it, I'll be making something with mortars in the future (I'm a big fan of any types of artillery). Currently, I'm trying to make a mortar team to set itself up or get ready to move. I have an idea for a weapons platoon, where as a platoon leader you are tasked with taking a city/enemy position/FOB the way you see fit (hit it with mortars, set up weapons teams to deny any possibility of an enemy retreating etc. I've a few ideas, but incorporating them might be a whole other matter. Keep your fingers crossed! ;)

Actually, it's too hard. you can't send 2 squads against entrenched enemies with APC and IFV without some more backup (maybe mortar support would be cool) :)

I got too many of my team mates killed by APC when defending the airstrip, so I decided to restart the mission. When the birds transported us to the shore at the beginning, none of the AI joined my group and just stood there doing nothing.
