@ThatTiredRookie , Isky's no longer works as of today, unfortunately. We may work to update it to the 4.0 version, as Isky's was somewhere in between this at 4.0.

Does this mod and the associated packs still work? For me the plates, panels and other components don't seem to do anything. I'm not using ACE btw.

Berl is long gone my friend, if you do want to continue the project feel free, but i previously fixed most things with the mod and there isn't really a player base for it, check out isky's signed and packed version of AAPM 4.0, its fixed for ACE Current.

This is broken, you cannot use the auto add plate script for AI. Otherwise it works out fine with Cobalt Ace. Use AAPM 4.0 if you want to use the new medical system rewrite. AAPM 4.0 was taken down on steam, but you can download it off-site. If you're not interested in multiplayer, this will not do it for you.

Do i need to be using Cobalt ace for this to work well with ace? Ace medical doesnt do ace medical things when i get shot wearing a SAPI plate and it allowed me to get hit with 10 rounds of 50 cal with out gaining any injury stats and then suddenly the 11th just outright killed me, which is not how i have my ACE settings.

You need plate packs in-order for them to appear,
Berlioz seperated them so people could have less plates for faster loading times

Hi there. I have the AAPM mod loaded but there are no armour plates appearing in the magazine menus. I have the AAPM mod load order to be one of the first mods loaded before the rest. I also have the required mod dependencies. Is there any fix to this? Thank you. The UAS mod and SIO mod appear to be working, but it appears to just be this AAPM mod.

@[TPPL] King Leonidas Not really. It needs its own older version of ace, named Cobalt ACE (or ace with the old medical system) The mod itself is a bit old now with no recent updates.

Milano: I tried Pilgrimage with UAS+AAPM too, and I cannot recommend it. It's very unbalanced and since you would require a legacy ACE version (C-ACE, etc. and ACE in general causes some trouble. Only ACE SP works good, but without the medical part, UAS+AAPM will be unbalanced) for it to run properly, it will break mission scripting in some parts. Better play it without these mods :/

@Milano I believe it is called "Multiple Saves" or just "Mission saving" However, my memory is blurry as to which is the one. Remember that over in Attributes in the mission editor, there might be the option to enable/disable saving, I am sorry for such a vague answer.

@Milano I have never played that mission, but from what I recall, the ability to save missions is dependant on : A: The mission creator and B: Your difficulty settings. I don't think AAPM, UAS, Nor CACE manipulate that. Take a look in your difficulty settings!

It seems that the AAPM and UAS make the Pilgrimage Duala mission unable to be saved. Technically, after I shut down I do not have the option to load a saved game. Is that possible?

How about we would take the latest ACE and just put it together with the legacy medical module? Wouldn't that work? So we could actually use it with the latest compat addons as well.

AL are aluminum oxide, while CX are Silicon or Boron Carbide. As such, the CX legs are lighter and provide the same protection.

funny story, i actually figured out how to get DRO's revive system working with ace medical, you simply need to disable Ace Revive. however even when in bleedout from DRO's system, you can still bleed out from ace, however you can actually bandage yourself up while in bleedout, and hilariously enough, sometimes it actually lets you walk around unhindered even when your in bleedout and you can shoot Ai while your technically dead, and they wont shoot you <XD.

Ah, that might be a cause of the issue. I recommend you use old ACE medical with AAPM.

Right cause i was just testing in the Eden editor with a MK 17 using the 7.62.51 mm M80 Fmj, and the ABS AP if i recall it being called, and the FMJ killed the soldier in 9 shots and the AP killed him in 11 to the same place with a GL carrier rig Black with a Sapi plate rated for multiple 7.62x51 mm M80 or one 7.62x54 mm

No worries! I'm happy to answer whatever questions you have. I'll split my response into three parts to address your inquiries.

1. DRO Advanced Factions is just for designating additional factions the mission can use. I'm planning on special faction packs that will enable AAPM usage in DRO by OPFOR along with UAS ammo.

2. Negative.

3. The multi-hit capacity is decided by the blunt trauma factor of the plate. You can brute force a plate with non-penetrations, but don't bank on doing that if you can help it. Use AP ammo capable of piercing enemy armor to drop armored enemies quickly. We have info on specific rounds and armor levels in the discord.

Also how do you determin how many rounds a plate can take before its essentially rendered useless if durability isn't enabled, cause i'm actually quite curious how that is determined.

Since i have the mod Zombies and demons, it shows up in DRO's advanced Factions, so i wonder if its actually possible, and if it is, is there a special faction name associated with these mods?

sorry to bother you again, but i was taking a look at Dynamic Recon ops and it does seem to have something called Advanced factions where you can set factions, so would that be a possibility for allowing the armor plates and UAS?

Indeed, it'll require custom factions and/or some patches to make them use suitable ammo and armor.

Right well, reason i ask is because, my friends and i play Dynamic Recon Ops and i do not believe the ai in that will actually use those ammo types, or the armor plates in general, and only use default ammo, making you pretty much a god, and them a 1 tap.

Durability is still disabled to avoid the duplication bug. I recommend using rounds capable of piercing the opposing plate, such as 5.56 M1159 ADVAP versus a Level IV, or some of the exotic .408 APs against .50 caliber-rated plates, to negate enemy armor.

AAPM can technically function without UAS, courtesy of some fallback values being in place, but only UAS ammunition has defined AAPM penetration values. It will be difficult to defeat AAPM plates without the use of UAS ammunition.
