I played V3 (I think?) a long while ago and could never fully finish it due to the engine committing suicide with the amount of assets this campaign has. I was finally able to play all the way through after setting my Shaders to medium (which seems to be the secret sauce when running my mods with custom campaigns) and now I finally get all the hype. Just an excellent campaign.

best custom campaign i have ever played

One of the best custom maps around! Huge area with cool views and many building you can actually enter. Because of that it may be too long (especially if you want to explore all the rooms and corners), but... you can always cut short and just go for it. 10\10

This is actually one of my favorite campaigns that I like to go back to from time to time. It’s been some time that I’ve played L4D2 since life got in the way but now that I finally have access again, I haven’t noticed the changes until I checked the description. I just thought I overlooked them the first few times. Just brings me joy knowing the L4D community is still out there alongside Valve for finally updating the game after several years. lol

Great map but its seriously need more optimisation done for it (Frame drops happens even when playing on 1024x576 resolution at 30 FPS with Lowest graphics settings). Maybe lower the draw distance & have more LOD models for away objects prehaps?

Hey map maker when you ever decide to touch up the map so people don't crash as often, fix the lightmap optimization, it might bring the filesize of the map down from almost 1 GB to maybe
sub 800Mb, that might improve people crashing with alot of mods, improve compile times, and maybe even allow you to improve on performance since this map is kinda rough to play on local even with a high end cpu.

I really liked the map. Pretty cool! With the beach and everyting. Final bit hard with bots but overall I liked it!

why even put a section where the ai is awful with pathing? and inconsistent drops? why even add that stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bridge section??? just ruins the map for me

alcatraz mission unable to progress due to bots getting stuck on the stairs in 2-3 places. Unable to down them. Broke the mission. Way too many AI friendly bots.

Cool map but holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ did you playtest this with bots? The bots have a stroke every single damn time I play Chapter 3. They won't help me up when I fall in that annoying ass bridge section, nor will they help me if I go down within the boat rooms. Something about me being "unreachable via NAV", which makes no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sense because half the time they are within TOUCHING distance of me and yet can't pathfind to get any further so that they can actually revive me. I've completed this map a grand total of once because I often have to quit at Chapter 3 just with how much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the bots have in this section, even with Left 4 Bots 2. Please fix the nav if it's something on the map's end because this map is otherwise a 10/10.
