This mod is the best alternative to the armorer skill tree I have ever found. Thanks a lot.

Hello Raptor ? if you can or if you know some one who can . Can you or them make a mod
A race mod halfings. Please Thank you
Keulron Nov 12, 2020 @ 9:59pm
Yeah. There's three Skyrim community mods that you can download from the store. The only reason they're on the store is because they wanted a Steam port and the Workshop has this weirdly small limit on the amount of storage space a mod can use up.
Linky Nov 12, 2020 @ 9:47pm
@Fellgamer. You for real? I never knew that.
Raptor  [author] Nov 12, 2020 @ 3:35pm
I wish the mod could have been made without an SKSE dependency, but it was unavoidable. Still, there aren't many reasons to avoid using SKSE if you have the game for PC and a mod you want depends on it.
Keulron Nov 12, 2020 @ 10:16am
SKSE can easily be downloaded from the steam store without any hassle whatsoever.
Linky Nov 12, 2020 @ 12:19am
Unless I misunderstood the instructions in the description, I wish there was a way to use this without needing SKSE. This looks so well done. But it doesn't mean I would try it in the future potentially.
Raptor  [author] Aug 21, 2020 @ 4:44pm
No more or less than any other mod. Skyrim SE does disable achievements if any mods are loaded, but I'm not sure about LE.
kev1n Aug 19, 2020 @ 6:58am
Is it blocking any achievements?
Raptor  [author] Jun 28, 2020 @ 3:17pm
Yep.
Jester Jun 28, 2020 @ 1:12pm
Does this mod works with gear from other mods?
Neko!Chara Apr 10, 2020 @ 4:22pm
A stormcloak is going to one shot some imperial genrals
Raptor  [author] Jan 7, 2020 @ 1:12pm
Yup. If you can equip it, it will improve.
oNE pUNCH sHIBA Jan 7, 2020 @ 10:54am
Great mod! I'm trying it out now. Does it work with daedric artifacts like the Ebony Blade?
Sir Johnathon G Infernoleaper Oct 28, 2019 @ 3:21pm
My Stormcloak cuirass is about to become bigbrain tier.
Raptor  [author] Oct 17, 2019 @ 7:33am
Not currently. If I ever made that, it would be a separate mod with custom enchantments.
Veni Oct 16, 2019 @ 5:40pm
is there a version for enchantments?
Raptor  [author] Oct 14, 2019 @ 4:01pm
Armor improves with damage done to others.
Undertoad Oct 12, 2019 @ 9:52pm
dope af and easy
Katana Obama Oct 11, 2019 @ 1:06pm
Best mod on the workshop! Have missed this since forever, so much fun :) Does armor improve with damage taken og damage done to others?
Raptor  [author] Oct 9, 2019 @ 6:00am
It can take time for mods to show up in the MCM. You can also try entering "setStage ski_configManagerInstance 1" into the console to force your MCM to refresh.
kman5543 Oct 9, 2019 @ 12:26am
Also isn't showing up in the mod configuration menu, i have both skyUI and skse
Keulron Oct 4, 2019 @ 11:32pm
I can't seem to find this mod anywhere in my load order.
Le Trolle Sep 23, 2019 @ 2:26pm

garroshsucks12 Sep 23, 2019 @ 11:05am
Glad this exists because I like planning out the armor a specific character will wear and temper it to legendary. Although there is stronger gear I like having signature equipment.
Assbreaker Sep 23, 2019 @ 3:02am
Not so bad
Ginger74 Sep 22, 2019 @ 2:03pm
guys hi. I got the no improvement bug too. I think i got into it earlier in the game but i didn't figured out. I'm level 25 i completed civil war quest and main storyline. Is there any debug for this mod yet? Thank you!
Endersynth Sep 20, 2019 @ 4:09pm
It does work, but for some reason it doesn't in the later game. Does for some reason smithing effect it?
Keulron Sep 17, 2019 @ 7:26pm
I can't seem to get it to work. Perhaps it isn't selected though.
Shiro The Slav Sep 16, 2019 @ 8:28pm
What mod are you using that shows the level of the enemy???
OMGchildren Sep 15, 2019 @ 11:54am
it says right in the description.....
"All weapons and armor, clothing, and jewelry is affected, even modded items."
Mirthbringer Sep 15, 2019 @ 10:00am
does this work with modded items?
kajko500 Aug 29, 2019 @ 12:19am
Dobre
Lord Sleep Aug 22, 2019 @ 4:30pm
Thanks:steamhappy:
Raptor  [author] Aug 22, 2019 @ 6:13am
Yes, but items without armor ratings won't gain one from this mod. They'll only increase in value and have a temper quality (fine, legendary, etc.) indicated next to their name.
Lord Sleep Aug 21, 2019 @ 7:46pm
so does this work on mage robes and such as well? @Raptor
Armour of God Aug 19, 2019 @ 7:40pm
Has anyone else experienced their equipment progression freezing after installing/removing mods? I recently removed what I thought was a minor mod for Music but now none of my equipment is progressing at all, even when I bumped the speed up to 10x.
iddqd Aug 16, 2019 @ 9:28pm
Well, that isn`t something I ever knew I wanted, but I see I did now. Great job.
Raptor  [author] Aug 12, 2019 @ 8:40am
It only applies to the gear the player wears. Damage done by followers contributes to your progress, so they don't hinder your progression.
Cossty Aug 12, 2019 @ 4:07am
does this work for followers too?
bellofury Aug 11, 2019 @ 9:42am
I've wanted something like this ever since I first started playing RPGs. This mod is a dream come true for me!
DukeMoreau Aug 11, 2019 @ 5:03am
Hi Again; I found my own fix :steamhappy:, but wanted to post it here in case it helps someone else down the road (versus deleting my post found below).

Hi Raptor; I've downloaded the mod (and SKSE) but the mod doesn't show up under the data files nor is it listed under the config menu. Do you have any tips/suggestions on a fix?
Raptor  [author] Aug 8, 2019 @ 12:15pm
This mod works with all mod-added items, including Unique Uniques. Progression through smithing and use are connected, so smithing an item up to a higher tier will result in it progressing slower through use as a result. Smithing over an item you've been using for a while will overwrite the progress you've made (assuming you have the skill to do so).
Darnitguy Aug 7, 2019 @ 9:18am
Seems really cool! Only question I have is does normal improvement of weapons and armor on grindstones/workbenches affect an item's progression at all, or are they separate?
Cossty Aug 5, 2019 @ 5:01am
does this work with Unique Uniques ??
Avocator Aug 4, 2019 @ 1:14am
Nice :)
Keulron Aug 2, 2019 @ 9:11pm
Heh, time to be the trailer Dragonborn.
CritiKohl Aug 1, 2019 @ 6:26pm
This is one of my favorite mods! Weapons and armor now tell their own story -- and make the bond to the weapons meaningful. Thank you!
Raptor  [author] Jul 30, 2019 @ 6:34am
You can check the progress by dropping your item, selecting it in the console, and entering the command "GetItemHealthPercent". Every 0.1 increase over the default value of 1 represents a new smithing tier. Keep in mind that your items are continuously improving as you use them, they just get new labels when they reach the next tier.
