Hawkins I can potentially do it for you. When I had a milsim unit we customized this mod for that exact purpose. Except instead I just blacklisted some of the basic NVG models such as the AN-PV14 and 15 from RHS so the white phosphor didnt work on those but then added some ANPVS31 models from another mod which allowed the setting, This way only our spec ops guys were allowed access to those ANPVS31. Made it a little more realistic. I suppose its possible to go white list only specific ones and not apply it to anything else, but I'd have to see.

Could you make it possible for server administrators to list out the exact NVG models (preferably via CBA config options) that use white phos?

I'd be interested in using them for a specific model, but not all models.

Noticed a possible issue if you're running this + Suppress. Once Suppressed it reverts back to Green Phosphor Nvgs. Any way to potentially fix this?

Church: Yeah, my intent was to offset for the little bit of tint change that ACE applies compared to the default night vision color.
Church Oct 17, 2022 @ 11:28pm
Is there any noticable difference between this version and the non-ace version? The only thing I could tell when loading each one individually is this version is significantly more blue and the other is proper white.

Why? Does not work with A3TI or what??? x:
Fat_Lurch  [author] Jul 18, 2021 @ 1:17am
Nomad, It has not. I've been working other projects.
Nomad1094 Jul 17, 2021 @ 7:48pm
has this been updated to work with A3TI?
White Jun 5, 2021 @ 3:01am
We're having a small issue with this mod not working properly with the Supression mod, curious to see or hear if there's been any work put towards making them work together because, to be quite frank, this mod is just too perfect for night ops.

Its much, much better than running around in Arma with the vanilla at least, getting PTSD from Fallout 3 just thinking about GREEN.

Looking forwards to hearing more about how things are going with the mod! :p2chell:
charles.griffith456 Apr 21, 2021 @ 3:51pm
@MachoNatchoMan what was your fix when you had the revert back to vanilla green? I have several other mods running. what specifically fixed it for you guys?
MachoNatchoMan Mar 4, 2021 @ 12:38pm
@loopdk
if it's loaded properly and enabled and all that then you are very very most likely having some sort of mod conflict (if you've got other mods loaded ofc) i and friends have had the color go back to vanilla green in certain situations like when we get suppressed (caused by a couple different mods that improve immersion/realism)

if you have no other mods loaded then it's probably just arma being arma, unless it's a client (arma) version missmatch (you're running a version of arma a few years old)

or some other other issue. impossible to tell without more info. good luck though.

Thanks @Red-Thirten

@Fat_Lurch Not a big deal, but it seems like "WP - Copy.sqf" is getting packaged in your .pbo and isn't being used. Just a potential clean up note in case you want it.
loopdk Oct 29, 2020 @ 5:51am
yes mate..

still only green
Fat_Lurch  [author] Oct 26, 2020 @ 12:41pm
It has been working for me. You have it enabled in the addon settings?
loopdk Oct 26, 2020 @ 5:26am
does this still work??

I only get green nvg and the mod is loadet. i can alter it in my settings but nothing happens
Nomad1094 Sep 14, 2020 @ 8:32pm
Yeah other than that, i loved your mod but i had to uninstall it due to that, but once its fixed ill gladly reintstall it
Fat_Lurch  [author] Sep 14, 2020 @ 12:40pm
Nomad, unfortunately not. I've been meaning to come up with a version that works with that mod but it's major surgery. Im in contact with the A3TI authors.

Thanks
Nomad1094 Sep 13, 2020 @ 10:22pm
Doesnt work well with A3 Improved Thermal vision
Four Aug 22, 2020 @ 1:41pm
Nope. This mod doesn't work unless it's white-listed. That said, beautiful mod. Excellent quality of experience addition.
Fat_Lurch  [author] Aug 11, 2020 @ 7:34pm
K+CN- I *think* so
Hotaru Aug 10, 2020 @ 2:49pm
@Fat_Lurch is it client side? for example, can i join a server which did not set your mod for example?
DanVonTrap Jul 30, 2020 @ 12:47am
Thanks.
Fat_Lurch  [author] Jul 29, 2020 @ 7:49pm
I have not, sorry. All try to get on that as soon as possible
DanVonTrap Jul 29, 2020 @ 10:02am
Did you ever figure out of lamb suppression was causing an issue with your mod (coming under suppression turned NVG back to green)?
PhallicDevices Jun 24, 2020 @ 4:24pm
Hey I'm having issues with this mod, when I use it with limited FOV nods (Like PVS-14s from RHS which should just show a small circular portion of the screen under nods) it instead lets the entire screen be shown as if its under nods. Not sure why.
=7Cav=MSG.Black.A May 25, 2020 @ 5:51pm
@Spider yes it is client side as far as i can tell.
Spider May 16, 2020 @ 12:13am
This has been asked multiple times (without answer) , but is this mod clientside?
Michalski May 4, 2020 @ 10:35am
ok thx man
Fat_Lurch  [author] May 3, 2020 @ 6:08pm
That's correct. If youd like to change the noise, etc. I'd recommend looking into ACE's nvg settings.
Michalski May 3, 2020 @ 3:18pm
so it just changes the colour? it doesnt improve visibility f.e.?
Scarecrow Apr 12, 2020 @ 10:34am
Thanks, not sure if you'll be able to do anything but I wasn't sure if the issue was known. Might just need a compat file, may be unsolvable. Either way, thanks for looking in to it <3
Fat_Lurch  [author] Apr 11, 2020 @ 11:43am
I'll look into it, see if anything can be unfutzed
Scarecrow Apr 11, 2020 @ 6:06am
It’s another mod yeah, on the workshop.
Fat_Lurch  [author] Apr 10, 2020 @ 8:27pm
Is Suppress an addon?
Scarecrow Apr 10, 2020 @ 7:50pm
Mod doesn't play well with Suppress, but damn I love them both. Flicks between green and white when the white flashing and focus loss from suppress is taking effect.
Tyler Mar 10, 2020 @ 6:53pm
I'm happy to give you screenshots. It looks like the problem isn't happening anymore once we removed the ACE and non ACE mods that we were using together (error on our part). But I can't confirm that until I try it. I'll send you screenshots.
Fat_Lurch  [author] Mar 10, 2020 @ 6:13pm
Can you guys send me screenshots and a list of addons you're running? I can dig in and see if there's an incompatibility somewhere.
Shay Mar 10, 2020 @ 4:13pm
I noticed the same thing, the visuals appear a lot more "blue" than in the picture above. I'd try turning down your gama, that's what i'm going to do.
Tyler Mar 4, 2020 @ 11:52pm
I've tested all of our mods with both versions of your NVG mod and now the problem isn't happening anymore. Honestly I have no idea what's causing it, I tested each mod that it could impact. The only thing I can possibly think of is that we were running both the ACE and non ACE mods together, and that gave it the weird, ugly blue overview. Once we just ran one of them, it was back to what your screenshots depict.
Fat_Lurch  [author] Mar 4, 2020 @ 7:30pm
It could be ACE. Are you running the version of this addon for ACE or no ACE? Is your unit running ACE?
Tyler Mar 4, 2020 @ 2:29pm
That's not what I meant. I meant, I had the mod before and it looked like your screenshots. However, now it's appearing a lot more blue than it should be. Unplayable blue. After some testing it appears to be one of my unit's mods affecting it, I just don't know which one yet.
Fat_Lurch  [author] Mar 4, 2020 @ 10:31am
Tyler - the intent is to make things more blue. That's what white phosphor based NVG tubes look like.
Tyler Mar 3, 2020 @ 1:42pm
I have this mod, however it's blue, not the light green as shown in the screenshots. Does anyone else have this?
Tokyo Monk Feb 5, 2020 @ 8:25am
server side or client side?
hateandcaffeine Jan 16, 2020 @ 4:13am
How did you get the post processing to work only on the night vision?
(X)-DSR907 Dec 8, 2019 @ 10:04am
OMFG finally someone realized that NOD should look like this
HUGE thanks !
Kal Dec 7, 2019 @ 12:45pm
Is this mod client side or do all users on a server require it?
