I will fix that. I have been working on the my storytellers that have silent raids in it now.

1.2 is out. please fix the problem:

Mod Vanilla Raid Strategies Unknown did not load any content. Following load folders were used:
- G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\1783482279\1.2

Since the 1.2 folder is totally empty.

I would *love* to use this with the no-message-at-all feature Karma mentioned. I play with Fog of War and it'd go together really nicely.

I think I might have an idea on how to get this to work, but I would need proper translations for the text.

I asked on Ludeon how to patch or overwrite translations but got no asnwer. Hope you will find a solution.

I have to look into some more. Translations refer to vanilla game only. I going to have to look at mods that have automatic translations. Otherwise would have to make a mod for each language.

The problem is you are unable to change translated text as far as I know. Let me explain. We have this:
<tag1>Text<tag1>
You have changed Text. In other languages Text never shows, Game searches <tag1> in translated files and takes text from there. Even if you change translated value of <tag1>, game will use the first value (you cannot overwrite it) that is stored in Core mod. Maybe with C# it is possible, idk.

I do not know how the other language versions work. All I did was patch replace the text data. What text is translated? All this mod does is change the text of what you read in the popup window for each raid strategies. Someone would have to make a specific language for it. I would like to make a version that adds a silent raid in addition to regular raids. The raid alert does not even show. Opps, I must have accidentally uploaded a test version. Wanted to see how no fleeing can increase difficulty.

It is a pity, but mod works only for English version of game. In other languages the text is translated and your changes do nothing. Btw, I have also found that you change flee behaviour, but no info in mod description. Hope someday there be a C# version that simply removes that text from all Rimworld versions.

removing the announcement would be fun. Love to have announced and unannounced raids. I believe requires a new incident worker which is all C# stuff. Having both will introduce unknowns that show up to your base and make you wonder "Where did they come from?". The raiders only come in attack immediately only. No wait around and then attack.

Would also like to see an even nastier version of the mod to hide the incoming raider message.

This would give me a reason to actually research things like motion detectors and radars from other mods.

It would be nice if this mod worked in symbiosis with this mod , for example. Research the technologies, and you get a warning, otherwise you better pay attention to how far out you send your colonists.
