@Jupsto, looking at your files, I think I found a bug. your rank 2 smiths don't give bonusses for samurai. that's because you're forgetting to add those items to the 2_mod_unit_attack and 2_mod_unit_armour effects.

@SilentCalling I made a mod that globalizes Blacksmith, Fletcher and horse breeders, as well as the legendary dojo effects. this means they will retroactively apply to units that are already recruited.

@Jupsto question, how did you get the tooltips to remove the local effects?
For example, setting SHO_Region_Specialty_Craftwork_2_Fletchers Effect mod_unit_accuracy_all_local to 0, would still show up on the tooltip as "accuracy bonus 0" and then an additional line for the factionwide effect of +8

Мод нужно обновить не понятно что дает он.Не понятно будет комбинироваться с другими кузницами или нет,и не слова про это не сказано даже.Я считаю слишком слабые бафы,а так задумка не плохая.Лагерей нету и это минус я считаю огромный мода,а когда нужно было заменить на производство то другое дело было бы.Shoguna 2 экономика слабая очень часть чтоб обрезать и так скудные постройки.

Shame this removes enchampments. I use mods that add units that require them, would have loved to have this mod in my load order.

Is anyone else having an issue with this mod? I try to start the campaign ( only this mod loaded ), and it crashes the game. I've tried a few fixes and nothing worked.

Is it possible to just press a button to upgrade a unit? Like they did in other games. Wish I knew how to do that. I'd totally make that mod myself.

@Jupsto +1 for re-adding encampments. Using 2 mods, an Artillery pack and a Unit pack, that both require them for certain units.

Something is in that list most likely. I tried playing around with load order which didn't work.
I assumed your changes would override whatever the other mods do depending on order.

Bug report:
The Hojo Mortar Units still ask for an armory for recruiting.
Can you either add the building back in or remove the requirement for the unit?

I cannot recruit Daikyu Samurai. It says that the Hunting Lodge is still needed, and I have a level 2 archery building.

So I'm using the Imjin mod/Land of the Rising Sun Mod Version 3.2 (With many other mods) but the one most i'm having trouble with is the Bullet Proof Samurai mod alongside this one. I don't know if the bullet proof samurai mod is conflicting, or if I am missing something in my campaign even with 2 Armories. Just want to know whats causing this conflict on me recruiting Bullet proof Chosekabe Bullet proof samurai.

For anyone using lots of mods, the "unlimited hero units" mod makes, at the very least, the Daikyu bow samurai require the hunting lodge to recruit.

I've added a couple of lines of clarification to the description but I accept the whole description could be alot better. I assume unit icons as in vanilla with upgrade icons are created only once on recruitment and this cannot be modified during a game - essentially a limit to the game engine - but if anyone knows differently then obviously that would be a nice thing (would probably need a whole re-recruitment system ala medieval 2).

Thanks Rocketsocks, yeah it its largely a OCD thing wanting best upgrades without re-recuiting ranked troops. But I also want to make the AI more competitive, thats why I removed encampments because the AI would never use them properly. People can mod them back in with packfile manager but I think I hit a good balance without them.

no icons, thats the only way the mod could be implemented. Maybe I could make this clearer in the description, but the values and gameplay are as described. You shouldn't see any sword/armour icons at all, if you do probably a mod conflict.

No idea why that would happen if the mod is on its own, are you sure you are counting the values correctly?
Turn 1 on with shimazu your yari samurai should have 6 armour, your yari ashigaru should have 2 armour. if thats isn't the case wouldn't know what to suggest other than reinstall game to be honest. try posting screenshot.

If anyone else reproduce this issue post here.

iv been messing around with this mod for some days now and cant seem to get it to work right, playing a vanilla campaign in shogun 2, when i start playing as the shimazu the black smith gives an attack and armour buff to yari ashigaru but not the samurai, and then when you upgrade it to the armourer none of the units get the upgrade at all???? iv try'd this mod on its own and with other mods keep getting the same result. any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Jupsto, can you change back the pilgrimhotel, I don't like the free experience for rookies coming out out of the barracks. Experience is something that has to be earned. So i prefer the Pilgrim hotel, just a morale boost..

Just remove the entry "SHO_Buff_1_Encampment" under the field/record unknown28 in the units_tables from the zzz+recruitable_generals.pack to use this mod with it.

For some reason this mod only gives armor and even with the final upgrade it only affects units locally.
