Had a crash with webber gave some monster meat to a spider and game crashes :( I dissabled mod and it works fine now.

I had to uninstall this, the no meat for egg exchanged makes it so a winter source of my food is gone. You also can't get certain things, like gunpowder and some crockpot recipes.

question why does it stop the egg thing?

I, too, would like to see some customizable settings. I really like the look of the little guy and the ability to get silk from birds, but he appears too frequently and he heals too much health when cooked. It would be nice to have a "lite" version or something we could edit a bit ourselves.
But as always, your work is very much appreciated. You are one of my favorite modders! I hope you'll come back around to this one.

AnimalGenius I may nake a farm at some point.

Sorry I never saw it, I guess I expected a silk farm to renewable than to just feed it to a bird.

Can the silk worms make silk? You never included antthing about silk worms making silk and if they don't Please make a way to make silk with them with refining or something?

Im testing the mod now and i gotta say, pretty OP, found the silkworm almost every rock i mine, and 25 hunger and 3 health for a cooked worm is too much. Can you make a less OP version of it? cuz i love the idea of the mod, or at least tell me where i can change that on the lua.txt? Thank you

One question,so if i install the mod,birds in cages cant no longe rdrop eggs?Or only then ,then i give them meat?

☭Latte!✞ I was wondering yesterday when my DS crashed ,what it was.I new is was the cookpot .But didn't know why.I was testing at that point so didn't trace the crash down.Anyway thanks for the info.I'll fix it.

Do you have plans of adding a craftable "Silkworm Farm" so the "giving meat to birds" thing can be re-enabled? I thought of just trying to make a mod that does that myself but... I don't have that kind of skill or talent.

if you can could you use a better looking picture / model for the worms? not important just a little thing that would make this mod even better

@ Oh'Shet Yep it will have to stay that way for awhile anyway.The penguins will fill the need for eggs atm.

birdcage egg conversion doesnt work with this mod enabled.

@ Ronnie Worms are the same value as small meats raw and cooked or cook pot recipes,what I really made it for was silk collection,feed it to birds in a cage.

@Afro1967 Can you make a crock pot recipe whit this? It should require 2 silkeslena and some other things, you would lose sanity from eating it, and it should be called Worm Soup.

@Afro1967 But silk worms don't have silk inside of them, they produce it the same way spiders do. Speaking of which, you should change the way that you get silk from them. (maybe a silk farm that works somewhat like a bee box?)

I'm still confused as of how a tiny little silk worm is just as filling as a massive slab of beefalo meat.

You should make it so random birds that are just flying around the map (not in cages) can eat them aswell; like how they do seeds.

Well I would say give them a 1/10 chance of popping up.... Or maybe round that ratio based on the relevency of rocks as you are more experienced with this game than I am. I just got this, and am already whoring it up with mods (beautiful, sexy mods; I've subscribed to about 5 of yours so far!)
