There's a similar weapon in the base mod, this is a violated version of it. For now you can only find it inside the Avikan unique caches.

The Thell grow as parasites, being granted mech-like suits to live in and become part of, younger or lower ranked ones generally have less or no mechanical features, while the more important ones have full suits. They're incredibly crafty and unique in their designs.

They wouldn't violate Centens artifacts as they are considered sacred, the one the Thell follow collects them, presumably to find where they went.

We likely won't see more Elithian Races from Aego himself for a long while, I had a rather large addon I was working on a few years ago and Aego had green flagged, it was a lore friendly addon. I abandoned it due to limited resources, if I ever get a stable income from Patreon or something else I may return to it though.

Yea, last I knew the Thell were rather parasitic creatures. Worm-like in form if I remember correctly, certainly not crafter types. This explained their obsession with Ce-tennan tech (speaking of, might you know when we could see some violated Centen artifacts?).

@Daveious The projectiles are following the original mods theme for violated avikan weapons, and will not be changed unless ERM changes their violated line projectiles.
@Mrsqueaker Jet had no knowledge of this weapon until its completion, violated line bows have been a topic lately I've noticed, so I thought i would make my own.

Model looks pretty good, but damn, is the beam ugly. You should work on that. Give it some white shades instead of just plain red.

DOOMBOOM2123 thats gonna be a no from me, the bow has custom frames and animations normal bows do not, theres too much that requires unique assets that a json weapon cannot provide, and you would also have to check with aego since he made the erm mod and initial vhalakin long bow.

I think i know the problem, since it was tested on the github release, the steam likely lacks that particle, a fix is nigh, starbounder.

So I keep getting an error after installing this mod "Exception caught in client main-loop (StarException) Unknown particle definition with kind linerifleimpact. Goes after I removed it. Tested with multiple linerifle type weapons. Log file doesn't show a conflict, just that error and crash.

Ayy, I'm "early". Looks good so far, let's see how it performs.
