One of the best raider mods on the workshop. Cool drops that make the MTF showing up a complication, but a worthwhile one. The first time fire eaters show on a campaign is a mission to get my shit together on so I can take their vests - especially considering the often less than stellar balance of modded enemies, the stuff you can make from MTF gear is a boon.

I don't know if this is intentional behavior, but I just watched multiple Epsilon Fire-Eaters use a pistol attack 8+ times each turn.... They would keep going until the unit was dead then proceed to calmly blast another enemy unit until it died. They only ended their turns when everything in the field was killed, including my dead soldiers.

Ran into a crash while loading a Data Retrieval mission from the Raider Faction Bases mod. Specifically the MTF Epsilon-9 ("Fire Eaters"). The game crashes to desktop and shows "XCom2.exe - Application Error. Disabling this mod works around it. Guess there is some hidden bug between these two mods, or at least between the something concerning MTF Epsilon-9 ("Fire Eaters") and the Raider Faction Bases. Had no issues with other Foundation units so far.

i like the idea that XCOM (having psionics) would be targeted by the SCP Foundation as a congitohazard along with Advent

Thank You! Dreamed of a game that lets me kick some Foundation asses while they do put up a fight!
Also, when a Dark event like "Lost World" is active it can lead to a 4-side mission with ADVENT, Foundation, Lost and X-Com being in Mexican stand-off. 10 out of 5

is there a way to get multiple MTF to show up? I have a sitrep that says multiple are in the area but only 1 of them spawns.

There is a setting to get them on your side, but by default, they should be hostile to everyone else (in Team_Two). Do you have the Highlander active? It is what allows Team_One and Team_Two to work in single player.

Yeah, it's an unfortunate issue with any mod that adds to team one (like The Hive) or team two (raider mods). It's caused by part of the base game code that modders don't have access to and has always been an issue.

It seems to be an issue with raider faction mods in general, which is quite unfortunate. I only have one other raider mod and that group barely ever shows up.

I would like to keep using this but they target VIPs on turn one, even if they do not run into the VIP circle, which is also an issue with these guys. I do not remember when this issue started but based on FifthRom's comment, I assume it was early this year.
I stuck with it for a while but eventually it became a guarantee that they would start killing VIPs on turn one, so unfortunately I cannot keep using this.

@Puma the Great I had a most unusual situation occur with a GOC Death Squad. I noticed when the sectopods were dueling that Advent was not firing back with its sectopod. I learned later when one of the GOC units moved next to me why that was the case. Even though right next to my units it could not see or target my soldiers. And I could not target units of the GOC, at least not the ones that were left.

Yo, I just met Nu-7, and..... they're each shooting about 12 pistol shots apiece??? Is that supposed to happen, or is this a bug?

Are other people seeing two buttons in their action bar for the Fire Eater vest's hellfire projector? It's not a big problem, but I wrote some code to remove the grenade and inferno rounds (among other things), and I'm not sure if this something in the original mod or something I broke.

Don't know if this was mentioned before. The mtf team that appeared just stood there and let Advent shoot them. They didn't move at all until I triggered them. Is this a problem on my end or is it just a part of the mod that can't be helped?

Ran into a bug: I had this SITREP on the first faction mission to save a scientist from the lost (where he has the machine gun that holds lost for X amount of turns). MTF got triggered on the turn of the Lost, ran past the scientist and the game considered the scientist "saved" (because I guess someone ran close to the scientist) and spawned a bunch of lost on top of them. However, since it was still the MTF's turn, they decided to simply kill my scientist.

Basically, during one enemy turn MTF got activated and killed the scientist during the same turn. It was kinda bs because I got 0 opportunity to do anything haha.

Maybe it is possible to make the soldiers of the OMICRON faction drop some kind of ANTISTASIS type thing and that this faction appears only in the late game. And then I will soon have to storm their base (after all, there is one too?) and there will be 40 people there. I don't even know what to do yet, they will keep my whole squad in stasis all the time.

Tell me how you can disable the OMICRON fraction in the configs. It is almost impossible to fight with them - they keep more than half of my fighters in stasis almost constantly. At the same time, it is very difficult to catch them on overwatch and they are immune to almost all types of attacks. Yes, I use mods for increased size of enemy groups and factions, so a lot of nerves are spent fighting them. I do not want to disable this mod because it is very good and the game with it acquires new shades.

so i wanted to ask if the legacy dlc is actually needed or what exactly it effects? ive been playing with this mod for awhile now and only just realized that dlc is required after being pointed out by a friend but havent run into any issues as far as i can tell?

@IconOfEvi, if you are getting too many sitreps, try using this mod:

it replaces 10 sitreps with just 2, which makes them less likely to spawn, while you can still meet all of the different mtf's, it's just more random that way.

Those are the only two big issues that come to mind ot me right now. I guess another is that often times a mission will roll two MTF sitreps (I have the sitrep expander or w/e mod), but only one shows up. Maybe either guarantee only one Foundation sitrep can occur, or if it has two show, make sure the game processes that? It does this both for when they're designated as enemy as well friend.

Also thanks again for being able to adjust their pod spawn sizes, I play with very large spawns for both enemy and me, so it's nice.

* When designated as a friendly group, it works mostly, except in a few instances. The first is, the game still thinks of them as raider bases, so you can have infiltration/gather intelligence missions with Foundations as enemies (as well as the same one being friends), and while that mission type is completely optional, the Sitrep for Foundation Lockdown (where they all show up and replace ADVENT) still occurs, and even then doesn't replace ADVENT fully (like on Retaliation missions).

Love the mod Puma, just some notes from now a couple games with them on, both as enemy and friendly

* I appreciate they were all given equipment befitting their fireteam, but the AI on choosing what to use is quite sadly shoddy with it. Pest Control (I think), with the poison grenades, for example, will throw them often at Lost (doesn't work and makes even more show up faster), and likewise try using tranq pistol against immune enemies. Dream Eaters AI for choosing what to isolate (and they always do their first turn) is odd, especially when having them as friends, since in a mission with lost, they'll ignore enemies they flank to isolate a lost zombie half the map away.

Seems to be all weapons but the machine gun. It'll say they're armed with a UMP45 or P90, but it's actually a TLP rifle. Sometimes the icon looks messed up, like it tried to load the bullpup and autopistol icons at the same time,

Recent update looks to have fixed the issue, but I think the LITE version might also needs to updated. The name of the weapon is right if RF is on, but the gun is still TLP/ WOTC

I'm guessing that Sigma changed the place where the templates are kept, therefore making my bool "RequestGameArchetype("XZ_Data.Archetype.WP_P90" pointing towards wrong folder

MTF units are using TLP and WOTC weapons for me even though I have resistance firearms installed. Is this a bug?

Since the update to Resistance Firearms, the MTF squads are using TLP/WOTC weapons only. A very minor bug, but one nonetheless. Also, is it possible to change what abilities certain MTFs have? Most are perfectly fine, however I really hate the Sustain ability the Dream Team have, as they're very accurate and they ALL have it. (I know The Cult of Jariah have them too, but there's only ever one or two units with it, and they're not accurate)
