You need 9.807m/s (let's say 10) of thrust per G you wish to counter. The default configuration comes with an upwards thrust of 36m/s meaning it would not be able to achieve lift in a 4G environment. It was not designed this way.

It is, however, designed to upgrade slightly. You can add 2 more Jet Thruster S on the front engine pod to bring the upwards thrust to 48m/s while still staying CPU compliant. I left that as an option to either allow it to carry more cargo (if you play with weight / mass) or to maneuver in higher G environments. If you want the upgraded version please let me know and I will post it in the forums for you.

does it compensate to the 4X gravity on some worlds , i have had some problems getting enough lift to get off high gravity planets
