i have a question about the version, if i use this mod with Rimworld of 1.5, then which folder of this mod the game is using? 1.4? or just nothing?

No, this just adds its own new carpets. It doesn't make any changes to other modded carpets.

Stuffed Floors adds the ability to generate new floors based on installed stuff. Without it, I would have to code every material separately, and any modded leather would also have to be individually coded and patched in. With Stuffed Floors, I can code it once and all modded leather and fabric is automatically supported.

The patterns look great and finally add an option to use leather for something new. Why is this reliant on stuffed floors though?

You're correct - I've been using this in 1.5 all along with no issues, with a personal fork of Stuffed Floors.

I should probably just update the tags and get it done with.

Just a heads-up, I'm using a 1.5 fork of Stuffed Floors and nothing seems to be broken with the 1.4 version of this mod. You might be able to just update the file that says "this is for versions XYZ".

Yes, all the carpets require the carpet research. The patterns are tribal, the carpet is not

does the tribal carpets req carpets research which is medieval tech?

I'm glad you like them! Fancy tribal is my new favorite. A couple patterns didnt make the cut at all, maybe next time

I love this mod, especially for the carpet patterns. I find the colored vanilla carpet incredibly boring. I do like that it comes in all structure colors, though. So I made a mod (more like an add-on) that allows me to choose a texture from this mod's carpet and leather floors and patch it into vanilla colored carpet, thus giving it a lovely pattern. I would like to post this mod, and I feel like I need to ask your permission for that. (To be clear, the mod depends on this one, so there is no copied/redistributed content.) Would you be okay with me posting this add-on?

@Wenin , cause' of material values. Look at the base vanilla game values, and stuff them into the formulas for calculating why.

Why is the wool carpet having a higher flammability than the Cotton carpet? Wool is IRL more flame-resistant.

Something must be conflicting then..... Yes it was with vanilla furniture, standard bed, dual bed, dinner chairs, tables, torches, camp fires, chess table, doors. The odd part is your mods the only mod whos behaving like this. I have several mods that add flooring and none of them are having the same issue.

I can't reproduce that. Does it happen with vanilla furniture?

Im getting a bug where I cant build any of the floors from the mod under existing furniture as you can with other floors. Not sure if this can be corrected but thought I would point it out.

Yep, stuff modifiers work. Beauty and flammability are the most relevant!

Do the floors get any kind of modifier from the stuff used? Example, is there a difference in beauty between thrumbo wool carpet and lightleather carpet?

Have you considered making leather walls with the same patterns as your floors? Would make for great tents for colonies in tree-starved biomes

I would kill for a version of this mod that doesn't require fluffy's floors.

I'm having sort of he opposite issue to Eng, when I click the leather floors, it shows me ALL the different types of leather in the game, even if I dont have access to that leather on the map, which is problematic when you have mods that add hundreds of new creatures with their own leathers

Haven't test yet but closest one would be "Minimalistic stuffed floor" as it modifies drop down menu of stuffed floors. I will report back when I get the chance.

That's a new one to me. Do you have any other floor mods installed? That should be fine, but I can't think of anything else that might interfere

Yes I have all the requirement and "Wool" carpets do show up but not the leather variants. Like plainleather floor from the thumbnail.

Make sure you have Stuffed Floors installed and enabled, otherwise none of the floors from this mod will show up

I think I'm stupid but I couldn't find "any" leather floor?

That's a bummer, I'd be all about a stand alone version as well. Mainly because Stuffed Floors removes Vanilla floors currently.
