5 : by the same way : open "inkling_boy_teamcolor2_alt" and "inkling_boy_teamcolor_alt".
6 : On "inkling_boy_teamcolor2_alt" and "inkling_boy_teamcolor_alt" : make a right click, place your cursor on “add attribute”, then click on “float”.
7: In the screen it opens, remove the writted “newAttribute” and writte “$aplha”. This command will make disappear the texture of the hairs.
Here you are ^^
For exemple on the Inkling boy models. To make the basic hairs disappear you have to :
1 : take the "alt" model of the inkling and make it appear on your scene (exemple : props_splatoon\inklingboy_alt\inkling_boy_alt_blueeyes.mdl). The “Alt” model is the same as the basic one, juste that instead of their normal hair they will have to ones of the other kind.
2 : right click on the model name, and click on "add override material"
3 : right click on the model again, place yout cursor on "show in Element Viewer" and click on "model"
the inkling girl model for the bun seems to replace the model for the short haired hair style
