theoceanchannel2, how less advanced? Alvin in some ways was more complex then Turtle, especially depending on which version of Alvin we are talking about.
- Upgraded and simplified the Ballast Control system
- Submersible is now capable of being reused by pressing the "Replace Ballast Weight Assembly" button located under the submersible.
* Reference the screenshot for it's location
- Sphere Hatch now locks due to the pressure difference once submerged
ENJOY!
- Upgraded hatch to ones received in v0.10.26 update
- Changed hull shape slightly with new sloped block segments.
- Updated to 0.9.8 Behaves much, MUCH better now!
Due to the update Turtle now can dive faster, and surface faster; around 4 ft/sec. Turtle is now darn near completely neutrally buoyant after dropping the descent weight. So depth keeping is also much easier. THANK YOU DEVELOPERS!
- Added a working radio which can be tuned between 0-100 radio frequencies.
- Updated the seats and added two observer seats as well, so you can bring your friends along without them affecting the buoyancy! They are in an awkward position but its the best I can do for now.
ENJOY!
I'll give it a test to see if it works again.
you need to release all the weights to stay with no vetical speed , and it decend at like 2 f/s
when all weight are released , it's not leveled anymore.
