The game has a hard limit on objects, and selecting a plant makes a lot of objects (each hex is counted as one), so depending on how large your colony is...

Yes, if you read the tooltip forest plants only do up to 40%, the other 60% has to be done by seeding missions.

I don't know if it's this mod, but the forestation plants don't seem to move the vegetation stat at all for me. I should be bumping it up by about 1-1.5%/Sol, but it doesn't budge.

I'll throw it on the list, but I try not to make mods that're already made, you can do it yourself pretty easy, just make a new mod and copy the forest plant, then make electricity_consumption 0 or false and that should do it?

Only version I could find on the workshop makes it available at start as a different building but requires a silly number of seeds. (10x maybe? Not sure, saw the complaints in the comments and didn't mess with it.)

need a mod to make vegetation faster or make more seed missions appear or something. nearly every game i'm just sitting starting at the screen always waiting for vegetation to get to 100%. the others aren't a problem it's always vegetation that's the slowest

Is it possible for you to also add an improvement to the spread effect as well? As in, vegetation spreads to other regions outside of the forestation plant radius faster than it does currently, as long as it meets the minimum standards for that type of vegetation.
