Does this mod mess with the trait Excommunicated in ruler designer? It just seems to be nowhere to be found
--tom-- Feb 21, 2024 @ 7:49am
French translation ?
Radon Sep 20, 2023 @ 1:57am
looks great, im gonna try
Artoblanishe Sep 13, 2023 @ 12:36am
How to remove anthropophobia? Do you have an ID? An absolutely inappropriate trait that is also passed on to children!
Jet Javelin Sep 21, 2022 @ 10:16am
The only thing I dislike about this mod is its art. The style of trait icon just... different from the rest and seem out of place.
Rick The Black Aug 4, 2022 @ 1:27pm
not every trait is in ruler designer
Coach Feb 16, 2022 @ 9:43pm
great mod but I absolutely dislike how the mod forces you to choose etiher A or B.. there should be an optop for C, i.e. not opting for anything. Either you choose imperialistic ambitions, gain some army buffs but major hit on general opinion or you have to choose pacifist where you end up as a craven with major revolt risks.. I think this event and the two traits should be adjusted a bit :)
Francisco Jan 2, 2022 @ 11:06am
Anyway to tonedown the pacifist a bit?

Revolt risk of 20% makes it so the revolts is almost monthly for me
Dr Jimothy Feb 4, 2021 @ 7:07am
Awesome thanks so much
Scarm  [author] Nov 1, 2020 @ 12:26pm
Might have missed some. And i hope this made clear why i can't be bothered to make a comprehensive list listing what this mod does, because well it does quite a bit lol.
Scarm  [author] Nov 1, 2020 @ 12:25pm

Searching for someone to list out the trait IDs in the comments like they did with the "Another Traits Mod II" mod has yielded no results and I can't tell which of the traits in my game are from this mod and which are from others.
Original modder (I may be completely unaware which of the traits that are enriching my current game are thanks to you, but I know at least some and thank you so much for that) please just slap down the traits and their IDs? Nobody needs you to put down what they do it's probably super obvious from the names and we can just hover our mouses over the traits and it would be really awesome of you.
Scarm  [author] Sep 6, 2020 @ 11:09pm
@Rostredd nope there is not, you could open the modfiles with a texteditor though.
@Harald Hardrada thats very nice of you, but at the moment i am just not feeling like it sorry :( also dont have a machine to run CK3 on so thats off the table too
@Freeasabird i am not, but i based this mod on a different mod i originally just wanted to improve, as stated in the disclaimer, and that ones creator was french. and no i can't change that, thats tons of work and i dont see a good reason. learning a bit of french while playing doesnt hurt right?
Freeasabird🕊 Sep 3, 2020 @ 12:20am
I'm not sure if its This mod or another trait mod, but when adding traits via console the Code for the traits are in french? you may be french sure, but...any chance you could change the codes to an english equivalent maybe?
Harald Hardrada Aug 25, 2020 @ 5:16am
pls continue the modding mate. I believe that you collect huge amount of moni if you open a patreon. We are still with you, continue upgrading this magnificient artwork
Grox Apr 25, 2020 @ 8:06pm
Could you take over genetics trait mod? OP is gone. ''Huge fan of genetics and EpiGenetics. Want to breed a long family line of strong genes and traits I want like Left Handed and Tall. You should also make this take stats into account. Where 2 high stat parents will pass on those high stats from birth and better stat gains for their high stat skills. Make it so it counts base stats as full. But only half or 1/4 bonus from bonus stats. Please do it.''
Rostredd Mar 28, 2020 @ 8:13pm
There a list of the traits in this and what they do?
Legacy Feb 22, 2020 @ 9:55am
@Scarm Don't worry, not everyone can be a great graphical artist, Not even me...
Scarm  [author] Dec 22, 2019 @ 3:06am
Thats what i just said, no i can't. That requires tons of portrait modding which i tried to do but my graphical abilities dont stand up to the task.
GoGoShalls210 Dec 21, 2019 @ 4:44pm
well can you make a race mod that only albino trait for use ?
Scarm  [author] Dec 21, 2019 @ 5:43am
Ofc it would be but it would require tons of portrait modding, which i neither am able to do nor do i have the time to. Children do have a chance to inherit the trait, but i kept it rather low. Both parents having the trait makes it more likely (20% vs 40% off the top of my head).
GoGoShalls210 Dec 20, 2019 @ 9:36am
and also allow the albino trait to carry to your children ?
GoGoShalls210 Dec 20, 2019 @ 9:35am
hey do you think it possible to make the albino trait changes the way you look like it gives you white and and white or red eyes and pale skin ?
Scarm  [author] Dec 18, 2019 @ 6:10am
Hey @Oddity, those are some really sensible and valuable inputs, thank you for that! Unfortunately i am not currently working on this mod anymore, but i already screenshotted your comment and put it in my "modding" folder, so next time i am tackling this project i will take your suggestions into account.
Oddity Dec 17, 2019 @ 5:49am
[Continued from prev. comment]

(4) +10 same opinion, we often find a sort of camaraderie with eachother, being more similar, and often converse quite easily with eachother too.

Then you could just reduce the negative cost to something like 25 instead of 40 to reflect those additions.
Oddity Dec 17, 2019 @ 5:49am
Hey, @Scarm - this mod is real cool, I just wanted to offer a little bit of input - The "autistic" trait could do with a little work, as an autistic person I can tell you it really isn't that comprehensive at all.

My recommended changes to it would be:

(1) Remove bipolar from opposite traits (it's possible irl to be both and it's odd to be an opposite trait).

(2) Add 2 stewardship & 0.05 tech growth modifier (it is a slight stereotype but autistic people can be quite hyperfocused and interested/good with science often, also stewardship is linked to traits like fussy, stubborn etc. so it makes sense here too).

(3) Add 5 to combat rating, lots of autistic people can seem slightly unusually strong for their physique and can sometimes be a little over the top in applying force sometimes. Plus it's not uncommon for some of us to have no real sense/fear of danger or even for us to not really feel pain.

Tate Nov 7, 2019 @ 6:38pm
Thank you very much!
Scarm  [author] Nov 5, 2019 @ 5:11am
Renaming is done in the corresponding csv files, see the instructions i gave a few comments below. You can delete traits by going into common/traits folder and deleting the corresponding txt.file (i.e. to delete albino you have to delete the file albinos, most names are french).
Tate Nov 5, 2019 @ 2:27am
And maybe rename one of the traits
Tate Nov 5, 2019 @ 2:01am
If I wanted to remove one of the traits, what would I need to do? Like go I go into all the folders and delete the one I want or would I be able to just delete one file?
Maxdoom18 Oct 25, 2019 @ 4:07pm
Now that's some customer service alright, thanks dude.
Scarm  [author] Oct 25, 2019 @ 12:24am
Either Way you can fix it by yourself if you want to. Go to the CK2 > Mods Folder, unzip this mods zip folder, and open the localisation folder. You then see lots of csv-files, which you can open and edit with an text editor. The first part of each line is the code variable, don't change that. The string after the first ; ist the text in the english version. Edit that and save. Most Traits esp. those from ouillameuh have an extra separated csv file with a french name while i made two mega csv-file named expandedtraits_events and expandedtraits_misc.
Maxdoom18 Oct 24, 2019 @ 4:11pm
Nah it aint your fault man it's just the traits descriptions are straight up what a kid could write up, it's amazingly bad and far from immersive.
Scarm  [author] Oct 20, 2019 @ 11:46pm
What is your problem with them? Any grammar/spelling errors? I tried to fix those as much as possible. The style of descriptions was intended by the original author (ouillameuh) to be close to the original descriptions i think, since those are somewhat... witty as well.
Maxdoom18 Oct 20, 2019 @ 3:21pm
Could someone who isn't a 12 years old fix the traits descriptions, it's just too much cringe for me.
Scarm  [author] Oct 13, 2019 @ 7:23am
Well that is indeed wierd, do you download new mods when it scrambles?
Mandaloreo Oct 12, 2019 @ 11:20am
I love this mod but traits seem to be scrambling every time I turn my computer back on, really fucking my gameplay. I can't find whats causing the issue but it's really gutting not being able to use the mod
Scarm  [author] Oct 1, 2019 @ 12:40am
Nope, but that actually sounds like a reasonable and feasible suggestion, might implement something similar at some point.
Mr.frank Sep 30, 2019 @ 6:51pm
Amazing, amazing mod, My friends and I can't play without this mod... I have a question that may be a suggestion, have you ever planned to include a "incestuous" trait?... it would be a negative trait in faith, prestige and opinion but that would allow marriages between family members.
Scarm  [author] Sep 12, 2019 @ 1:52pm
Done so, last link in the description, just remove the blank spaces that i needed to make to stop steam from removing my link.
Scarm  [author] Sep 12, 2019 @ 1:30pm
Puh i haven't been working on this for a while due to work, but i will see what i can to do some writeup on the Bloodlines, shouldnt be too hard.
Lee the Obscure Sep 9, 2019 @ 4:35pm
love this mod, definitely one of my absolute favorites! you should consider doing a separate mod just for bloodlines, they're easily the best part of this. is there any way to see a masterlist of all possible ones and/or trigger them with console?
Scarm  [author] Aug 31, 2019 @ 11:02am
Might take some time to download if your connection is bad, until a mod is fully downloaded the launcher sometimes wont display it properly.
Pipe Aug 31, 2019 @ 9:15am
Why doesn't this show up in the launcher
Eriewmatay Aug 11, 2019 @ 6:40pm
many icons are from the Sims 3
CaptainChitas Aug 10, 2019 @ 10:25pm
Lags my game every month
Scarm  [author] Jul 21, 2019 @ 10:25am
That sounds highly strange but i am quite sure that that isnt my mod, considering i played quite a bit with it and many others do as well. Also would not know how that would even be possible (as in i can't think of an unintentional way to mod sth like that). I personally frankly think you are missing something there.
SaChaMa Jul 21, 2019 @ 10:17am
Yeah, I know this, but in this case I do not gain any other traits. I have let's say 6 traits, and all of a sudden I loose brave (no event, not notification, not gaining craven or any other traits at this time). Never had this happen before. I just noticed because my rulers stats were contineously changing until I noticed that he had just lost traits all of sudden.
Scarm  [author] Jul 21, 2019 @ 10:03am
*you will lose content. Sorry typo there. the newer trait prevails.
Scarm  [author] Jul 21, 2019 @ 10:02am
yes. this is normal CK2 behvaior though. Once you gain an opposite trait to something you lose the opposite trait without further notification. Again, this is the case with vanilla traits only as well though, just less noticeable because less traits exist. (E.g. if you have the trait content and happen to somehow gain the trait dreamer you will lose dreamer since those are opposites. also works the other way around)
