Well.... the highborn pack and the sister of avelorn are ready and waiting for the launch of IE.
Currently im working on the models and textures of my legendary characters mod.
This mod here does not use much custom textures so the port should relatively easy - yes I'll port this mod too.

General information for all - not only an direct answer to Mana-100
a) I will only convert selected mods and not all.
b) Most of the conversion work might start after we got IE, so it is difficault to release them with the IE-launch - please be patient
c) Did you ask me if I plan to convert this mod?

Majority of the units should be buffed by these skills and techs that buff their category. That means that buffs for dread spears and bleakswords buff sword/shield and spear/shield units, yes.

Thank you for your suggestions but you (might) forgot that these units are designed for different campaign stages or better said army compositions too. Overhaul they are "balanced" around stats of vanilla units.

Hey dude, ye me again.

Lets see if I get this right.

From my point of view, the "Darkborn" are esentially cold one riders on foot, they r like "elite" bleakswords/darkshards/dread spears

Then the "Black soldiers/Black paladins" are sentially Black guards with diferent weapons.

Its a minor tweak what I suggest. Basically give all Blackborn units the same Hp. Right now sword shield and spear shield variants have 5850 HP while the halberts and greatswords have 7350.

Then for the black soldiers/paladins (black guard with diferent weapons) they also have diferent HP pools. Sword-shield and spear-shield are at 6625, the palandins are at 7350 and regular black guard (the 1 already in the game) has 6750.

All Darkborn to 5850 hp

All black soliders/paladins to 6750hp

Its just my opinion tho. Great mod anyways! take care!

If not already done, please try to resubscribe: desubscribe, start the game, look trough the launcher if my mod is still there. If not then close the launcher and subscribe again. That should force steam to download my mod again.

HP's did not changed for me, not sure if I have a bug or not but meele infantry still with 4k hp

Yeah I understand some units like the Harganeth having more HP than black ark corsairs. But what made it weird was to see a unit on pair stats with the black guard (despite 1 having sword and shield and the other having a halbert) yet -2000 hp :/ Anyways thx and rly cool mod dude

Hey man. Rly cool mod but the HP pools are so weird. There are units with 4.5k hp others with 6k and its basically the same unit with diferent weapons. Could u fix it? Thx

ja hatte es in der kampagne getestet.


scheinbar, (hatte 2 mods aktiviert, einmal dein truppen mod und noch einen, der lediglich malus negative effekte seiner bessenheit bereinigen sollte) ändert der andere mod das gebäude, warum auch immer, und blockiert somit deine truppen.

Eigentlich sollten alle Dunkelelfen in der Lage sein all Einheiten zu rekrutieren...angesehen von den Sisters of Mayhem.
Ich habe extra darauf geachtet, die Gebäude so zu wählen, dass es Ketten sind auf die, zumindest die meisten Fraktionen der Dunkelelfen zugreifen können.
Ich werde nochmal drüber schauen, aber bitte sage mir, dass du auch wirklich die Kampagnen meinst und nicht nur die custom battles...

Buffs erhalten sie jedoch sind sie leider ausschließlich für malekith rekrutierbar.

Ist das so beabsichtigt oder fügst du den anderen dunkelelfen (malus etc.) auch noch die möglichkeit hinzu, sie zu rekrutieren?

Darkborn Halberds - cheaper more easier to acquire version than Black Guard ap , anti large . Dark Born Greatswords - AP , Anti Inf. something that can go toe to toe with your Highborn units. Dark Born Knights - Dismounted version with Armour sunder and good melee defense.

other ideas I had but lacked the knowledge was Corsair shields / Halberds. :)

Love this mod but I feel the Asur have gotten all the love ! Dark born aren't quite the equal of their Asur cousins.

Yes you are absolutely right. Despite from the "creator law" I stated in nearly all of my mod description that one have to ask me if he want to use my stuff.

I let some of the others know too so hopefully they've all learned about it. I spoke to Deco about his Extended Roster being used and maybe something needs to be made clearer about credit and permission, some countries items on the workshop, as public as it is, is free to do whatever you like with it so maybe we might need to be more clear on our own mods, rules on a discord server and what not.

It's not fair on all the hard work that goes into modding whatever the mod is.

Really good mod, I'm loving these knew units!! But after some testing, I think the Black Knights are overpowered. They beat Dragon Princes and Blood Knights pretty easily. They should focus on flanking and be more like elite Dark Riders instead of cavalry killers. They look great though!! :D
