Well I want to say you have given me exactly what I needed! I have been parsing with the idea of a 1v1v1v1 race to divinity type playthrough and I daresay this mod was the missing piece! I have been trying to find one that gives everyone an ashen idol from the start but this is 10x better. Thanks!

I seem to have an issue where if I have like 25 res scrolls in my inventory and I am transported into death fog my character keeps res over and over until all the scrolls are used. I wish when this causes you to res it would do a transport somewhere else in the room and bring you back.

@RyeEncoke, if you die playing lone wolf and you have a resurrection scroll, you should be resurrected and lose that resurrection scroll. In other words, yes this will resurrect you if you're playing solo, but you still need resurrection scrolls.

If you are not traveling with a companion, ie it's just you, and you die, will this resurrect you or will the game end?

Works great. Pretty hilarious when you use a deathfog barrel on alexander at the fort entrance and then he teleports you into it.

Yeah, I wasn't sure why they thought it was too much different than the idol, besides costing one less AP point that I traded for a debuff.

Nothing wrong with the mod! I'm just throwing it out there seeing as a few in the comments probably doesn't know about the Idol. That's at least how I perceived it, I prefer the Lone-wolf-style of playthroughs, so I'd say it's an awesome mod!

Lanik, the reason why I made this mod was to reduce the tedium of opening up my inventory and re-combining the idol with a resurrection scroll. I also gave a little bit of a debuff for two rounds on resurrection so there is a little more consequence to the death. Thank you for the suggestion though!

Mods like this are why we don't get achievements on modded playthroughs.

Hahahahah!!!!! I didn't realise this mod would not only make the game more enjoyable for myself, but now it's also bringing me entertainment of its own. The amount of fecal matter in some folks' brains is just so plentiful, they have to limply try and spread it around and ruin the world for everyone else. I'm not sure why they just don't spend their time celebrating what they enjoy rather than wasting their time on what they don't, but some folks get triggered too easily.

Hm. Seems rather pointless. May as well use the cheat engine to never die or turn the difficult down to the lowest setting.

I don't see a lot of "casual gamers" learning to use the modding engine to change the game to play as they see fit, and to also make completely new adventure mods. It's sad that some folks only see the Internet as a tool to spread negativity.

New version allows for solo characters to resurrect themselves, and also gives the resurrected character cursed status for two turns. Getting brought back to life is hard on the body and mind.

Hi Rogue7! I don't play solo, so the way I built the mod assumes other characters are still alive and the game doesn't end if one of them dies. I'll look into letting solo players benefit from it also though; they might actually benefit from it most.

What happens if you are soloing as lonewolf? you die and the game over message happens and the load game prompt comes up...do you override that if you are able to res yourself?

So far it's not op at all, just convenient. I suppose I'm saving 1AP that I wouldn't use on combining the idol with resurrection scrolls, and perhaps I can balance that out, but really it's just saving me time and it's not like I cheese out and stock up on rez scroll and come back a bunch of times in one combat. Enjoy!
