Quick Question, If a LL confed by a non-LL ai faction, are they consider defeated or what?

Yo, awesome mod, I'm playing as Kroq-gar and Nakai the wanderer lost his first battle, ofcourse I hired him but I can't use him as a horde army, is this a game mechanics thing or a bug? Does anyone know? I was so excited to have both horde armies and normal ones!

WHERE can i recruit them ? they all remain greyed out in the unit-list

For some reason this does not show in in the mod manager. And I can't search for it in the workshop either. Seem to only be able to navigate to it via the link in the old mod that you said was deprecated.

The mod is not showing on the mod manager. It doesn't even download it when i subscribe... anyone having the same issue??

can they appear duplicated in two factions?

Long time after this has since been created and updated, but gotta say. Fan-freaking-tastic mod. Zero problems with it, and have been using it for four campaigns so far. It's also nice when you see legendary lords pop up in other factions after they've been defeated-- pretty immersive in the sense of thinking like, "Hm. So you're under their command now." It's great. And also really lengthens the time you get to potentially gain defeat traits on some of those lords you know will likely be a part of factions that'll be long-dead before you reach them.

Mind if I ask how this works with lords like Mannfred and Ghorst as well has Vlad and Isabella, like sometimes it takes a few turns before they actually recruit their counterparts so if you maybe confederate them the one wont appear?

To clarify, it's working fine when playing as the major factions. So I think it's just the behaviour not extending to other mods

OK. Not sure what's going on then. But then I've never tried it with a minor faction

Yes, it is. I have also noticed this not working for any minor faction playthrough I try, regardless of base race.

this doesn't seem to work for me, i had the migration script come up witch i accepted but cant recruit any legendary lords anywhere, they just dont show up??????

Fixed by the unofficial patch, IIRC

Great mod. But playing as lizardmen, when I recruit Nakai, he can't build any buildings in his horde. He can recruit units only in settlements or from RoR and blessed units. Is this intended or is there a work around?

just out of curiosity, when i play an HE and get Imrik through this mod, would he still be have/have to collect his 5 unique dragons?

Shouldn't work by default but maybe there's an option in the configuration tool.

Does this work for all of the Chaos factions? as in if someone is playing as Warriors Of Chaos could they recruit defeated Beastmen and Norsca LLs?

a mate and I tried this mod mid-HeadtoHead Campaign. It worked when we first continued the campaign. He had to tab out at one point and upon rejoining I could no longer get into the lobby. Error code: Can`t find the file. Something like that.
Do you have any idea what could have gone wrong. I have no other mods installed.
Would be unfortunate to ditch the campaign as it was really fun.

Really was looking for a mod that make loaning other factions hero into recruiting said hero.

i'm playing as "dreadfleet", i killed "Sartosa" because nobody was atttacking it. i didn't got the event.
do the event work if you are the one killing them ?
anyway i got the event for only for "the drowned"

Not being able to go back to the 2.4 version of this mod is so frustrating. I've got a campaign of 3 months I can't complete because this mod crashes the 2.4 version of WH III and the saved campaign will not load without this mod enabled.

Ugh... If there is a way to revert to the old version of recruit defeated LLs please advise.

If i kill LL and destroy his faction simulaniously, how long does it take to get the refugee message?
As then at that point at least for a round the AI will be inbetween , will they get first pick and i only when i am afterwards in my turn or will i have several turns to make a pick before AI gets to pick?

If AI makes a pick and gets desstroyed afterwards, will their picked LL as their original LL be available then to get picked (again)?

Is there any way to make this mod player only? Starting out as Imrik went and killed Malus early and at turn 150 back to Ulthuan, met him as an one-man army. Without his campaign mechanics to stop him, he just destroyed all high elves, even with Tyrion and Eltharion teaming up still couldn’t kill him!

I added this mid-VC campaign and I think I missed the dilemma (it hasn’t come up, but has for my TK campaign). I’m now 30 turns along and really want Mannfred. Anyone know if you can ‘reset’ the dilemma? Thanks

can undo decision? after end turn game freezed i wanted to click on my lord but bam and i choose to kill aranessa :(((( sad face can undo decision? i tried load last save but its done now, sad face :((((

Actually I need to update my comment.
I killed off Yvresse, and Eltharion and his lords ended up in my pool.

So it DOES seem to work. But the new conditions are:

1) I previously confederated a High Elf minor faction, got their Lords into my pool, and disbanded some of their lords by combining armies

2) I built a bunch of buildings which probably increased my Hero pool such as for Nobles and Mages.

If I were to guess, *something* changed after getting the lords into my faction's pool.

be nice if there was a version, or option in MCM to recruit legendary lords regardless of culture/race, so for example i could get bretonnian lords as the empire, or norscan lords as chaos, so i can unite all the races in a more good vs evil sort of way,

This mod unfortunately does not appear to work with SFO:GRIMHAMMER 2. I am playing as Avelorn and the minor lords of the minor High Elf faction "Chrace" which I defeated did not get added to my lord pool on the next turn, despite the pop-up showing up for it and me clicking the accept refugees button.

Might you be willing to add compatibility for SFO:GRIMHAMMER 2?

Although that's mainly relevant if you're looking to recruit Nakai. it sounds like you're playing as Nakai.
Have you got the DLC that added Oxyotl? That's about all I can think of.

Yes. Make sure you've got the Unofficial Bugfix Patch mod too.

Sounds like Steam being Steam. Trying restarting your PC, or just giving it a few hours.

not sure why but the mod is not downloading for me at all... i tryed removing the subscription and adding it back again. closing steam and opening it again

Nevermind, the dilemma appeared after some turns.

I don't know if it has been asked before, but I have some problem with this mod (it always worked fine btw, always had the chance to recruit LL and not-LL): I'm playing Hexoatl and Nakai has been defeated by Harkon, some turns have passed but no dilemma popped up.
Is it something I'm doing wrong?
There no option for Nakai or LF in the configuration menu.

Thanks for the new version. Hope you find your fun again, if you haven't already tried it then I'd recommend RDR2. Add a few mods and pretending to be a cowboy is a really chill, enjoyable thing.

@kkc495 the sheer size, alot of game files have been editted. although really waiting for this mod myself we do need to wait till the modders are far enough to implement it. don't forget they do this for free and at least be fucking greatfull for it or do it yourelf
