Really great mod so far, with a lot of improvements beside the scenario.
My humble comments :
1/ Maybe you could list the mecanics change somewhere, so players wouldn't be too troubled.
2/ I died (again...) in Red's house, and so far I didn't have any Matrix runs. I'm starting to wonder if all that money spent in deck, softwares and ESP wouldn't have been more useful in Medkits.
3/ I found it very difficult, but maybe it is because point 2 above.
I will try a restart with a different character, because I don't want to give up on this great story.
Thanks for making this.
I REALLY loved this! I hope there are more fanmade campaigns like this, but i doubt.
Really great work!
Would love to see more work of you :)
And for some reason, armor seems to do nothing in the way of damage reduction for me. So if you play this mod (totally recommend it) you may need to max out your dodge. The combats get stupid level hard without armor soaking damage.
PLAY THIS MOD!
@stymie jackson: Make more stuff! In any of the three (I personally would love to see more HK stuff) this is a masterpiece. Maaaaake more stuff.
(One note: mid-battle access to your stash makes riggers severely OP. All you have to do is remove your bot from your gear, then go right back in an add it, and you can reactivate it for new full set of AP, as well as re-stocking its items and healing it to full. Not that I mind, it just made even the final fights kind of a cakewalk once I realized I could do that.)
4 long chapters, interresting characters, a rich storyline (even little end chapters recaps ^^).
What a work, dude! IMPRESSIVE!
The best UGC played so far, without doubt!
Congrats ;)
- I would have put 10 stars if I could -
Nice work friend.
On the other hand, it has a very solid feeling overall, great hubs (albeit running around gets tiresome and contributes a lot to the feeling of it being too long), very well designed levels and it manages to be far deeper and more complex than anything the vanilla campaign ever dreams to be.
Considering it's a single man's work (if I'm not wrong) and that it does much more good than wrong, I'd say it's easily one of the best UCCs out there for SR Returns. It just needs some polishing and trimming on needless parts.
Every time there was a cutscene between cities, I thought it would abruptly end,
but I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun content is here.
The unlimited stash access is very convenient, but a little too powerful. I wish it weren't accessible during battle or required AP to use.
Thumbs up!
Sincerely yours, Nooooblet
