Very good map

nice map design, sadly some puzzles take to long for regular campaign style

After the rooftop of the original game, we should go to Silent Hill. On this map, we get on a plane after the rooftop. Are you planning to do the plot for the rest?

Sadly cant recommend or like. While i hate giving bad review on someone elses work, i must say that this campaign, or better say, style of "puzzles" isnt good fit into L4D

The Game Instructor isnt working at all. and yes, i have it turn on, and so did brother with who we played.
I managed somehow take tongs, but thats all the progress we achieved on just normal before we lost our patience.
This kinda progression is unfit for a game where enemies spawn constantly.

Another issue are weapons and overal gear - not enough at start. Id understand no SMG for 4 survivors right on start, but at least some melee would be good idea. There are fire axes in malls. And there would be, at mall, clothing stores with metal bars where clothings are put on.

So conclusion - Not enough gear, puzzles and progression mechanic unfit game with constant, endless spawn of enemies. Sadly, i personally cant recommend.

I still dream to this day about a part 2 of this map, covering the hospital, amusement park and the church

Pretty long but a must play if you are a fan of SH3

还算可以，质量上乘的一张寂静岭地图，补给还是老毛病，比较分散，任务道具不会发光，很多时候路过都不知道在哪里，线索少指引也比较差，很多时候都是无头苍蝇然后突然找到路，在后面几关有所改善，流程开始偏线性，总体而言能玩，一样不推荐单人游玩，单人游玩建议备好BOT指令等MOD
Overall, this is a decent, high-quality Silent Hill map. However, the supply distribution remains an issue—it's too scattered. Mission items don't glow, making them easy to miss even when passing by. There are few clues, and the guidance is poor, often leaving players wandering around aimlessly before suddenly finding the way. This improves in later levels, where the progression becomes more linear. All in all, it's playable, but I still wouldn’t recommend playing solo. If you do play alone, it's advisable to prepare BOT command mods or similar enhancements

The gate at the finale never opened so the campaign became a survival mode.

This version of Silent Hill is one of the few better ones, but there are still few guidelines and clues, and we still have to find a strategy, but it only takes one or two times to get through customs quickly, but it is still very bad.

ah, sorry! looks like it was some other dumb campaign which changed the zombie health.

i haven't played sh3 (or any silent hill game) yet but this is pretty good, only problems are how easy it is to get lost and that key items blend in well with the environment so you miss them alot of the time, 8.9/10

Good stuff here, if ya'll like puzzle then i recommend this. I never played any silent hill franchise before but this one i give 10/10.

Wouldn't recommend this map if you just want a normal L4D type campaign. The levels are well designed, but have many close quarter situations that will prove to be annoying when dealing with special infected. The "puzzles" boil down to finding the thing to unlock the thing that allows you to get the thing that lets you finally progress. Which is similar to old silent hill puzzles, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. Problem being having to use the game instructor instead of just highlighting the puzzle items. The items in-question are very crud looking like they belong in an old Roblox's game causing them to awkwardly blend in with the environment. I found myself just running down hallways and walking into every room until the game instructor pointed out the puzzle item once I got close to it.

Weapon and item spawns are fine, and Tanks or Witches are rare, and I play with a mod that increases their spawns yet still didn’t come across very many, so that’s neat. The final is lame as you stand on a small roof top dealing with commons. Special infected will appear right next to you at times resulting in cheap damage. I think the best part of this map was the sound design I love silent hill music and sound effects so the sound used was wonderful.

It's amazing, even the riddles are adapted. I recently completed Silent Hill 3 myself and was surprised how cool everything was and how possible it was transferred into the L4D2

This is a fantastic recreation and I was amazed at how well actual in-game knowledge of the real SH3 story carried over to this map's progression. My only issue I came across was being unable to find the 'hair dryer' item needed to progress past the tentacle monster in the Underpass Sewers section of the campaign. I looked all over in its usual location in the garbage room and didn't see it anywhere.

@anakin swagballer Do you use any custom campaigns from the workshop? If so try disabling them in your mods list and see if that lets you load this map.

Also try verifying integrity of game files in l4d2's properties.

just straight up freezes my game at 50% in the loading screen :( sucks i really wanted to play it

@Tigersarerad First go into the bakery opposite the bookstore and pick up the tongs on the table, that'll allow you to pick up the key under the pallet.

I can't get the key to the bookstore for some reason
