I haven't touched ark or the devkit in a while so I am not sure if that tutorial works for modded items but if you want to give it a try, here is the link:

There should be a skin version of the saddle included that you should be able to drag onto a regular megalosaurus saddle

I added a Skin version of the saddle just now.
Not sure if everything still works as intended but the in-editor tests looked correct.
You need to remove the saddle from your creature before you can apply the saddle skin though.
It's a saddle and no skin item - sorry.
I am still thinking if I can convert the basic saddle and keeping the quality and AR - will have a look at that over the weekend.
Do you have any other mods installed that change dinos?
If you don't mind please provide the crashdump so I can have a look at what is causing the issue.

Can you please try to make sure it is not loaded last (and not first)?
We have a 3 server cluster up running this mod on all of them and no issues so far. It is somewhere in the middle of the load order although I think it should be save to put it whereever if no other mod demands a specific order or first spot at least.

or the saddle just remove the sleep debt ? i mean is dps and stamina will it always be the same or will there still be a difference? ( sorry if my english is bad i'm a belgian )

Don't know really, when I uploaded the mod to steam we were using it on our own Server (Nitrado) and firearms worked while riding when using the modded saddle

If you ever find a way to make higher quality saddles, I'd fall even further in love.
I am not sure if it's still the same workflow to add something to drops but last time I had to replace all the default drops with edited versions that included my items.
Again, I don't want to do that anymore to not mess with vanilla items or functions.
Not being able to get higher quality versions of this bothered me aswell but I wasn't able to find a good solution for that other than using the upgrade station mod possibly.
Not sure if it works with the saddle but I know for sure it works with my modded compound bow.
A) as far as I have tested it it works on the Aberrant version just fine although not providing much of a benefit other than the higher base armor if you compare the two saddles at base quality and enabling you to use weapons while riding.
B) I was thinking about using different crafting materials but utlimately decided against it as you need to get your hands on the default saddle and convert it so the material costs felt ok to me.
If anything I think I would have ended up going in the direction of Deep 6's idea and add some stimulants to the baseline materials (although not that many stimulants xD)
I stay away from replacing anything as far as possible with my S+ Wood Railing texture fix being the only exception at the moment to not mess up the game or any other mod that might rely on base items.
B) Is there a way to change the crafting requirements? -or even maybe just have it replace the old saddle? -
C) Could there possibly be a way to add them to airdrops, so we can get higher quality ones?
I freaking love you for making this mod. I've been wanting megalos to be useful, but the sleep debt is killer.
