You really must add a disclaimer about darkening the road with network skins or repaint, on all affected roads (which by the sounds of it, is all your roads?) As this is a *major* issue that people will not be aware of when they subscribe. This is paramount.
You also really must update the screenshots. Right now you are showing an item that ultimately, does not exist. I want the item shown. It is not available. It is basically a doctored screenshot. This is not a minor thing. It honestly is irresponsible and unprofessional. Surely you must see this.
You have a lot of good roads that I know now, I cannot use, unless I find find really hacky workarounds/covers.
Yours includes Vanilla tram versions...
The link should be in the collection above ... can't paste it in here, because I am currently writing all this here on a mobile ... which is always not that pleseant :P
I can't change how the textures are compressed during the Import in to the game. And even if I could do something differently with these textures, then I'd have (again) to update all my networks in order to keep the effects provided by the LSM. Its totally fine, that you suggest all these things ... I always want to hear that ;), but in this case there isn't anything I can (technically) do about it
I know that steam keeps these, but you can only access them, when you update your asset ... so I would have to update an asset (revert back to the previous version), then save the "new version, update again to the current version and finally reupload the old version as a new asset. Plus I would have to manually rework the old models, to fix imperfections, which I already fixed in the current versions. Nah ... won't do that either... because of the reasons above and because I don't want to have 2 versions of the same asset.
Regardless of any mentioned reasons... all this would be way to much wasted time, which I could better spend on things that I like to work on or just simply playing the game. ;)
As for a second version: you do realize that steam keeps rollback versions of workshop items that you can easily grab the earlier version of, then separately reupload it, or vice-versa. This takes an effortless amount of time.
But in any case, do you know of any alternatives to this? I haven't found one to change a central avenue tram to sinking (or parallel parking roads like PLR II)

It has many artefacts and an odd pinkish colour hue, that slowly disappears as one returns the road colour closer to the vanilla shade. It seems the texture colour balance is off and/or the compression did not go very well.
I implore you to try and address this issue or release a separate version of your roads with the *original* / "no custom road" texture on them. As what is shown in all the screenshots.
It's super unfortunate because your roads and work is all generally good, but what is shown in the pictures is definitely not what is given or expected. I really want to use these, but cannot in their current (frankly avoidable) condition.

Btw ,.. those props aren t used on this network.
LOD missing: 1919887701.Tram Shelter #01 - Glass _Data [Core]
LOD missing: 1919887701.Bus Shelter 01 - Glass_Data [Core]
Regarding a 3 lane version ... well, there's something on the horizon. ;) But it'll be some kind of a "special" thing... starting next week (hopefully) ... Fingers crossed.
Is possible to update the mod TM:PE STABLE ?
Here the link : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1637663252
In fact, you put the LABS version of TM:PE.
Thanks to update to all your assets.
I've spent a few hours trying to get it to work. No go. way to much fighting with dropping the tram tracks in. then loosing them, segment 5 also flips the road links over. Also have the same problem that Retr0 has, it doesn't want to play well with the other roads.
Was looking for something to dive under a round about, guess this is not it for me.
