@Comrade_Cold I don't. I've uninstalled the mod, tried to clear everything, and reinstalled the game. It has overwritten the base files

Is there any kind of guide to show how to revert to the original pantheons? I like to turn mods on and off to change things up but nothing I seem to be able to do can revert it -- be it disabling, unsubscribing, clearing the cache or even re-downloading the game. It seems to be an .xml change but I don't have the original file backed up. Please help! :steamsad:

@0cool2 delete the line that changes it to revert it to its original. If you still want it buffed, the mod wetlands does it.

Hey has anyone figured out a way to modify yields given by pantheons. It's gotten to the point where picking lady of the reeds and marshes is actively ruining games because of how nuts it is. Just need a way to set it from +2 to +1. I tried fiddling with the config file in the mod folder but its not working as intended.
Also on a personal note i do miss the +1 additional production given to reefs, but honestly i'd just be happy for the -1 prod for the first one.

Possible New Issue:TM: but I also might be smoking crack---playing a multiplayer game, we have a huge modpack installed, but the other person running Lady of the Reeds and Marshes (Modded) keeps having the bonuses disappear from the map whenever he puts down a Rice Paddy Field (from another mod.)

not sure if it's this one or the other two, but that's the interaction that I can think of and I'm going to basically re-paste this on the other mods in question.

this doesn't work with Resourceful 2, homie. God of the Open Sky doesn't affect Ox resources. need a new version.

I'm using the Resourceful 2 mod alongside this mod and noticed that the Stone Circles pantheon doesn't effect the Travertine resource.

I've been having the same problem as Reika. Game wont load with this mod active. Tested it with no other mods in play set.

Lady of the reeds and marshes is overpowered. Been playing with this mod with the same group of multiplayer friends for a while. It has become common to rush pantheon to be the one to get LotRaM. We play on pretty standard map settings and even if you have few floodplains and marshes it is still probably the best choice to deny it to others.

I know others have said similar in the comments. I feel like decreasing it to 1 production would be best and make it similar in strength to God of the Sea.

All great except Lady of the Reeds and Marshes. The +2 production on all floodplains is way to overpowered. I had to turn the mod off because if a bot picks it on deity it game over. Maybe just +1 production for non-desert floodplains, or +2 for resources on a floodplain.

I have to say that I really like the way you're making changes to shake up the AI's choices. That was always a sore spot for me, that Religious Settlements, Fertility Rites, and God of the Forge are always the first ones taken, with a possible Reed and Marshes or Open Sky thrown in.

That said, I think that some of them are a bit too strong. Okay, one of them. God of the forge.

25% is a huge bonus, and to have it apply across the ENTIRE game is a bit much. Maybe reduce it to 15%? That's a strong but still reasonable bonus to waging war.

Reed and Marshes is still a bit variable, but even more so than God of the Sea. GotS is more powerful the smaller/more broken up your landmasses are and the higher your resource setting. LotRaM is still really weak on small/new/cold/dry settings, which reduce the chances of getting multiple tiles in one city, and the reverse is also true. Egypt has a floodplain+grassland bias, and this change can make them REALLY overpowered, especially in the early game where you have to keep working high food yield tiles.

For me without to many mods, it works. But I have to check here what are the effects because it is not written in the game although the mod is enabled. Will it be possible to make us read the new pantheons directly in the game ? Thank you in advance

I'm just saying it's not working as intented. For example: Votive offerings: 3 gold and 1 culture for quarries. But it doesn't apply to every resources that can be improved by quarries with or without the improvement. Clearly it's an issue, don't you agree?

I think it doesnt buff the improvement but the resources, thats why as soon as you get a pantheon, even without the improvement the bananas for example get the +1 culture for plantation...That's an error of application, it should be applied on the improvement, like the quarry improvement and not all resources that can be improved by quarry.

Hello,

the mod does not work with some resources mods, although others do.

For instance, tin from resourceful 2 (it's essentially copper), does not get the god of metallurgy bonus. Tomatoes get nothing, etc.

Love this mod and it works flawlessly. The one thing I have found is that 'Lady of the Reeds and Marshes' is the correct pick at least half the time. Perhaps it could be dialled back to 1 production on grassland and plains floodplains?

Don't like the god of the sea nerf. The loss of the extra production from reefs hurts it to the point where its no longer worth going. Twas already sort of a situational pantheon to go, considering the mod does a great job incentivizing you to pick different pantheons each playthrough (honestly love your mod). Is there a reason you removed the +1 production from reefs?

I am getting an error and civ won't launch the game, I've narrowed it down to this mod in specific. Other mods installed at the time were: Better Coastal Cities and Water Tiles, Better Report Screen (UI), Better Trade Screen, Expanded Initial Vision, Extended Policy Cards, Tech Civic Progress Plus, and Vibrant Waters.

Hi, I activate the mod but found that vanilla version of all pantheons are still there, so there are two different version of each pantheon. How can I fix it?

Great stuff, works fine for me. In fact I have been editing it to suit my needs using the guideline system, thanks so much for providing this.

I want to ask though how would I go about editing a couple other pantheons, namely; oral tradition, goddess of the hunt and earth goddess? I have no idea how to edit the base vales or what kind of lines to input in order to do it n the manner you have accomplished here. I just want to buff them a bit to closer match my other edits.

This is only a small personal thing though, in any case thanks so much for all the hard work.

this mod is broken for me - when i attempt to start a game, it claims "one or more mods failed to load content", and i have narrowed the problem down to this specific mod (although a mod conflict isn't out of the question). i own both GS and R&F, so DLC dependencies shouldn't be the issue, here.
if it's of any help, here's an error i saw in one of the logs when trying (and failing) to start a game with this mod:

ERROR: Invalid Reference on RequirementSetRequirements.RequirementId - "PLOT_IS_COASTAL_LAND" does not exist in Requirements

Just noticed that Goddess of Calm Waters keeps the faith from fishing boats (not sea resources or reefs) originally from Religion Expanded but no longer has that text on the pantheon screen. It still gives +1 food to sea resources and reefs

@discovigilante That's intended. They give the bonus when a given resource is improved, not to a resource that CAN be improved by that improvement type.

I believe the Sun God pantheon may be bugged; I just picked it for my most recent game and it only affected farm resources after I improved them (as if it were a base game pantheon of this variety).

@Goldberg070 - Read the descriptions of the pantheon. I changed Religious Settlements and Fertility Rites around.
