Please include the transit tube stations into the mod. They cost a huge amount of power to charge up. It should be way lower. I lowered all the power from all buildings to 50% from the mod options but this building is not affected.

I dont even know how people can manage power in this game without building hundred of generators all over the place (therefore heating the base more and more). This mod is essential to me as i see that every frikkin building needs power in this game and too much keeping in mind how many things you have to power up. Its ridiculous.

Updated. If there is a building you REALLY want to see added to the configurable options let me know. I probably wont add every building that uses power to the list but I will try.

Several pages into the comments I found mention of another mod that is a bit similar:

I just tested the above mod and it seems to work fine (with DLC enabled).

Finally, there's this recently updated mod:

That mod allows customizing all sorts of things with all sorts of buildings, including the Power Consumption. So while it'd require messing with File Explorer and editing a configuration file, it should allow changing what this mod does and then some.

This works great, but it seems they still report their old wattage when you look at the total possible load on a circuit.

I had a hydrogen generator, 6 electrolizers, and 1 gas pump on one circuit and with this mod it should have been 720watts, but it still said 840, as if the pump was still at 240.

Any chance you could make them configurable? I hate how I can make a gas/liquid filter for like 10w with an element sensor and shutoff compared to the game's built in filters at 120w.

Any chance of adding a change to the arcade cabinet in this? When I looked up actual arcade machines, their average usage was 200 watts per hour. Given one day is 600 seconds, this makes each hour about 25 seconds. Splitting 200 watts per hour into those 25 seconds gives 8 watts per second. Obviously this is too low, but it should give an idea of how overblown the 1.2k watts is for the arcade cabinet.

Nice, power balance was always something that I had issue with.
Tho could you do something with jukebox and arcade, these things eat so much power that I have to make exclusive power grid just for them otherwise they burn the wires.

Good idea, deffo needs some better tweaking. Not sure how klei reasoned around the power handling. Also the wires should be able to take more than 1kW, also fuses would be nice to have in the game ;)

Power doors don't use power except for the small amount of time that they're in use though.

curious to see how this mod develops, I have thought for a while that filters are too expensive for what they are especially given you can make filters that take up more space but an insane decrease in power costs with automation, I think the game needs more low cost power consumers that should add up over time
