Ah shit uh steam is stupid and unsubscribed my from my mods at some point so I wasn't getting notifications for them. I can update the mod now that the last wh2 update came out to give people peace of mind.

For units falling off, this problem seems to occur on some maps when trying to move them to shoot at the inner city, this wouldn't be possible to fix as the collision for wh2 walls wasn't optimized for weapon teams. Hopefully this will be fine in warhammer 3 as it looks like weapon teams will default be placeable on walls.

Also until warhammer 3 comes out should look at Pierce's Better Siege mod for improving wh2 bad sieges and that mod is sort of a successor to this one.

Guys read the description. If you use Pierce's Better Siege then you don't need this mod.
It's most likely he's passed this mod onto Pierce

Okay leaving this post here in advance for the dlc on improving ratling guns/warp fire throwers performance:

You should spread your ratlings/warpfires in rows of two, spreading them out too thin like I originally suggested hampered performance in a way because of how fire arc/unit targeting works in this game. The most number of rows these units will optimally fire at is two. In addition, enemy units in the center of the firing arc displayed when selecting/hovering over the unit have a greater chance of being targeting as opposed to units just touching the sides of the firing arc.

Also units struggle to hit units right at/climbing the walls but you should be retreating the weapons teams at this point in the battle...

@=Easy= Amicaze I don't think that is possible without having the rats always floating. After the new dlc is out I'll try messing with projectiles/entities a bit to improve performance on walls without affecting balance too much.

If you can manage to offset the Ratlings and Jezzails 1 meter above the ground, the mod would work perfectly

@The Song It does work but units like ratling gunners and warpfire have issues hitting some targets because of line of sight/range. Spreading them out across the wall seems to help a bit. The other weapon teams fire perfectly because of their arc of fire and range.

Having not been the defender in a siege battle yet, I've been playing believing they could be on the walls vanilla. Guess it's a good thing I saw this mod before learning the hard way my siege defense plan wouldn't work.

That said, I'm seeing some comments about it not actually working, leaving units idle instead of actually shooting. Does it work or no?

Any one know a mod where I can put dwarf and empire cannons on walls? Or maybe just artillery in general on walls?

We managed to fix the problem. We both deleted all the pak files from our game data directories and then had Steam verify and re-download all those packs. After that it worked. Thanks for the help trying to troubleshoot it!

yeah idk, only thing i can think of is if one of the mods didn't uninstall properly; if thats the case you can try disabling all mods and hit play, if a prompt pops up saying mods still active then hitting disable will remove that from the list.

Otherwise I'm out of ideas, this mod works in co op by itself so it isn't my mod doing anything weird.

I tried uninstalling all the other mods I had, and we made sure our mod load order was identical in the launcher, but it still says incompatible.

@KellyR Probably a mod loadout issue; make sure same mods are downloaded and in same order for both people. Last I remember even deactivated mods can mess with the load order.

Would it be possible to add artillery on walls? I reckon it would make having most artillery pieces in sieges a lot more interesting i.e. being able to take down a siege tower or two.

globadiers can already be placed on walls normally, weapon teams cant because they dont have climbing animations, probably related to being a 2 person one entity
