I agree with Kaiиe.
If this mod could replace the wooden shotgun due to that one having less accuracy and more power, I think it would be more fitting.
Then have the Remington 870 Police Magnum replace the chrome shotgun as that one is more accurate and suits due to the longer barrel.

Kinda resembles the shotgun from GTA IV. Loved this. :)

The reload snapping back and the gun shot muting everytime you shove and shoot ruins it.

I don't know why or how it happen when I last subscribe it but I love the old one better then what we have.

Any chance of converting this to the Wooden Pump-Shotgun? Looks great, it's just unfortunate that the Chrome's stats are much better for long-range use and a more suitable model is preferred.

Wow I remember using this back then, but I'm so glad you changed it. I actually liked the old one but this one is so much better for me. I came back to it for the model and then remembered I didn't really like the animations all that much because it didn't have a cocking animation after reloading but I decided I'd get it back just because I liked it before anyway and I come to find out the animations changed to include it!! This is an amazing mod.

would it be possible to update it so that when reloading, the shotgun doesn't "teleport" to the position to reload?

I dont know if this is just me but every time i pick up the shotgun half my screen turns black

Make sure when you subscribed to the addon, wait for it to fully download first before launching the game. After launching the game, also allow the addon to finish unpacking first before joining a server.

Can't get this to work, I have no other shotgun mods. For some reason it just doesn't work for me, does this model conflict with anything (other than the obvious shotgun models)

Hey dude, i'm back, i've downloaded yesterday this mod.
And all i have to say is

HOLLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ It's good! The sound is great, the weapon looks relativelly nice and the reload is cool too.
There isn't much more about it, but it doesn't need to, it has everything a shotgun needs. Simplistic, pleasuring when fired and a butt-load of damage!
Thanks for this one, it's as good as your glocks.

Exactly what I was trying to say to some people in the forums and comment section. And yet, they still go accuse and blame all anime modders for this phenomenon.

Tbh, it's pretty much a lose, lose situation unless Valve makes official workshop changes like for CSGO.

so people say it's because of weebs downrating other mods isn't true, because my ultimate weaboo mod still take the effects - we are innocent!

Upon my curiosity of checking out that RE2 Remake Claire model, it seems like enough positive ratings made it give 5 stars rating now. A few weeks ago, it was still on 4 star rating with just a bit over 500 rates.

If an addon has an higher negative ratings ratio, the less chance it'll get 5 star rating. Not saying it's impossible, but it'll just require a lot more positive ratings to get a 5 star. Take for example Casino's RE2 Remake Claire addon. It has well over 500 ratings, and yet still 4 stars...

From my experience, 161 ratings is enough to grant you a 5 star rating given there's zero downvotes.

tell me when my imouto infected have 300 rates but still 4 stars...

Yea, the upgraded "W-870" is currently WIP.

2) This so called "botting phenomenon" all started in around Nov 2018. Since the start of 2019, all of my L4D2 addons have an average of 20% dislike ratio on the first week of release. Furthermore, genuine modders are actually leaving the workshop just because of those rating bots, which deeply saddens me.

1) There's absolutely nothing wrong with anime. The underlying issue here in the L4D2 workshop is that some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ decided to code bots to manipulate the rating system. Thus, during a particular time of day, specific addons (particularly non-anime mods) featured on the front page will get severely downvote bombed up to 20% negative rating, dropping it to as far as the 4th page of the workshop's weekly most popular.
To make matters worst, it seems like anime mods (whether it may be good quality survivor replacements, or just outright cheaply made loading screens), are getting a boost in upvotes. Thus, the reason why people now are getting pretty pissed off seeing anime mods constantly in the front page.
