I can see that you guys are indeed enjoying this mod more than i would have ever hoped for. In the beginning i did this for the simple reason of playing the hell out of the empire :D And seeing you guys enjoying this mod, this much... I am really happy, I can't promisse for sure, i need to clear some space on my hard drive and give a dive into the modding tools and the code from the game, to see what has changed, I and will try to work something this weekend. And thanks @SneK for the tip, I will look that up and see what I can do :)

I just tired of waiting, so I rerolled game versioh to 1.8.1 and installed mod. Now I am playing 1.8.1 version only to enjoy the mod

Sorry mates, just to clarify, I am not over the mod, as I still very much love this game. But in my work, things have been absolute chaos, and it’s not out of place for me to just arrive home, play for a while a game, and go to bed to get going the next day. I hope that I can soon or later cash on my holidays, and I hope that with that I can look the mod up, do some new things with it, and get it going, but at this point, I just can’t with the way my work is going at the moment. I just can ask for your comprehension, and as soon as I can, I will give you guys an update.

@TrialAvel In the course of troubleshooting compatibility with my Guns of the Empire mod, I think I found the problem here.

In your unit_attributes_to_group_junctions_tables data, you use an Attribute called "ignore_forest_penalties" that seems to have been removed from the base game.

I deleted the three lines with that Attribute and your mod launches perfectly. I would love to see this updated because it fits so well aesthetically with my gunpowder units.

i think the only problem that is preventing the game from running is the attributes for the units (i am a noob modder at best still learning stuff atm) im still testing the mod right now though i only tested it on custom/ will try for campaign soon

Sorry to all who are experiencing trouble with this mod. I have been a bit away from total war and so, from keeping up the mods. I will try, during this week, see what the problem may be and try to if I can make it work again. I can only ask for your comprehension and as soon as I have news I will be posting a new comment.

As a heads up this mod, ALONE, is crashing my game on start up for some reason. any ideas/help as to why and if I can edit it to work as is, or is an update coming soon?

With the current version of the mod, this units can only be recruited by the empire faction, and you need to have the Special Building of the Reiksguard built in Altdof. As these units are just crazy powerful, ment for late game, i had to make them as hard to get as possible, otherwise, all units other than these, would be useless... for most of a game.

Hey man, I had a save from before the update, all units I had recruited were there. However I couldn't recruit any new ones. Fair point about the campaign. I was playing as KF in the Mortal Empires campaign.

Sure mate, I had to make some cganges on the original mod file as the head element of the units with the feathers was vanishing... Are you not seeing the units (all of them) in the campaing? Are you playing empire or expedition? I can try to downgrade de mod, and create a seperate entry with the older version, and maybe you can try with that one. I will se what I can do on my end too.

Hey @TRJAvel, firstly thanks for your work on the mod! Secondly since your update yesterday I'm not seeing the units in the campaign and get a CTD when I try to load the custom battle roster, I think there might be something unusual going on. I've tried loading the mod on its own and as part of the load order I've been using for a good while with the same results.
Just food for thought, there are more important things going on right now!

As the units are registered in some or other class in game, they will receive benefits from upgrades and traits from lords, if its aplicable to their specific class...

I am sorry mates, In the time I was supposed to have this mod start going again, I had some things going on in my life, started my first job and all, and I just didn't have the time, even to play the game, let alone modding it... I am trying to come back, now that life is on course, and with the probable quarentine for the COVID-19, I will have unfortunate free time on my hands, but that might allow me to research all I need to restart this mod. So, depending on how things go, I will be updating this. Currently I have it working on the current verion of the game, for the empire faction, and in campaign you can get them in the Special Building in Altdorf for the Reiksguard. I hope we can get this going once again, and we all can enjoy the new empire mechanics with this units :)

Radious is an overhaul mod, mainly focused on adding large amounts of new units and lowering the upkeep costs of armies.

Are you trying to balance the units for vanilla, Radious, or SFO(Grimhammer)?

It is not that hard really, at least if you compare to making a unit from scratch! All I have to do is copy the files give it different names and change the values, the upkeep and cost one is really easy, now... the other version would be more complicated because it would require a lot of testing to find the good spot vor the values, of course if any of you would be kind enough to give me a list for every unit with the values that you think would be more reasonable, I would have just to place those on the mod and be done with it. If I have to do it by myself, yeah... I will still make it, but it will take more than a week for sure!
