It should. I rarely use a single engine except for in automobiles and helicopters. I haven't looked at this in over 3 years, so a lot of it may be outdated.

The minimum throttle level to engage the clutch had been set too high trying to overcome the power curve. I dropped it down to .11 so it won't rev nearly as high any more. I've also added sliders to the properties to make it easier to make tweaks to what a vessel needs.

Generally works okay. It revs really high with the clutch not engaged at low throttle, any idea why? I appreciate there's been some updates that have changed the behaviour of how everything works.

This is my first build in a very long time, thought I might as well try an automatic version.

I need to redress this since the curves update. I've been struggling to figure out how to optimize gearboxes now. Definately need some documentation on them!

Got it to work (not that hard), but would this work better with more gearboxes? I now have three per engine - 1 reverse, 2 forward. It works, but engine stalls at about 0.7 throttle and clutch doesn't engage until about 0.23 throttle.

Not even sure yet what actually happens inside those gearboxes when you sequence them. The devs have their work cut out for them in creating actual documentation O:)

hello I've used your auto clutch in multiple vehicles and wanted to know if i could upload them as long as list you as a contributor? but think it was an older version with the idler on it....

The idler value just allows you to have a minimum value on the throttle so the engine doesn't die if you let go of W or S. To be honest I forgot I had even uploaded this. I've completely reworked the microcontroller and don't even sue this one any more.

does there need to be a specific value for the idler value?
what is it's purpose?
