I love this mod.
However, while also using the Civ5 Environment style mod, night time looks extremely weird (the sun is directly exactly behind the camera, so everything is flat and maximally lit up).
Is there any chance u could lower the sun angle during night?
Or what values do i have to edit to do that?

NGL I have settled in a lot of deserts just because they look purty now

To add to below my comment, it is almost like night doesn't happen when you go to Power Lens, which I think it is suppose to. I do notice the buildings have their lights on, but the world seems very lit.

The new Power Lens that was added in the June update gets washed out a lot when using this mod. I am also using your mod with Environment Skin: Sid Meier's Civilization V mod.

Is there going to be any issue running Era: No Change Brightness with this mod:

This is fantastic... I don't know whats going on with Gathering Storm one second part of the map is bright next second is dull and just looks a complete mess. Thanks.

This + the Civ5 environment skin mod = BEAUTIFUL

Although there is another mod for this (it just fails to control anything beyond normal status).. would you consider "fixing" the Ages-switching color-keys system that heavily (far too much, for me) enhance lighting as well when entering "Heroic"?

Dark + Normal + Golden + Heroic ... also affect the Header line with sharper colors. This is out of our grasp too while i feel we should be able to "pick" such hue(s) from pre-defined custom palette similarily to what the Jersey system permits.

Anyway.. think it over please.

Love it! Finally the game is as colorful as before GS :)

Would it be possible for you to add a comparison screenshot? Before and after?
Deliverator23  [author] Mar 15, 2019 @ 3:21am
@BLÀde: Well there's no reason this should work any differently with DX12. All I can suggest is use DX11 because to be honest the game doesn't look that much different anyway.
BLÀde Mar 14, 2019 @ 6:47am
this deff isn't working in dx12 mode
BLÀde Mar 12, 2019 @ 7:42am
does this effect dx12 mode? i'm not noticing any difference?

@infixo: Done!
infixo Mar 11, 2019 @ 11:34am
Can you please add "doesn't affect save files" and "GS compatibility flag" to .modinfo?
Cosmic Fox Mar 11, 2019 @ 5:34am
thx bro, you make awesome eye candy and tweaking mods that just are perfect for my long play games. There are only a handful of good mod devs, you are one of them!! :steamhappy:
BLÀde Mar 11, 2019 @ 5:11am
yeah and it sux the game is so damn dark and even worse when you get a dark age
Deliverator23  [author] Mar 11, 2019 @ 5:00am
In one of the preview livestreams I think Ed Beech/Dennis Shirk said they'd deliberated altered the angle of the sun for a different feel.
BLÀde Mar 11, 2019 @ 4:23am
no one believed me when i said GS was a lot more darker. this proves it :P
Deliverator23  [author] Mar 11, 2019 @ 4:02am
@infixo: I just preferred the sun angle from R&F rather than GS. I find too much of the art is in shadow with the GS lighting and like to see things more lit up and colourful. They obviously wanted to create a slightly darker more brooding feel to go with GS. So it's a matter of taste. I think if you set the time to midday you should see the difference.
infixo Mar 11, 2019 @ 3:52am
Is there something wrong with the GS lightning or is it just "what I like more" situation? Tbh, I have not noticed any change :) Can you give an example of where to look?
