Apparently this mod had trouble with lwotc..should be call micro grenade launcher mode instead..

hopefully if someone else has had this problem before it can be easily fixed.
In short, the Micro grenade launcher stopped working and is reading all micro grenades as Incompatible with selected weapon on my soldier.

In long: using RPGO my soldier started with toxicologist on his first mission with the micro launcher, but did not yet have the perk that halves the damage of grenades but gives bonus grenades, so he went into the mission with a regular grenade and a gas grenade. The mission went without a hitch and he used both grenades and got a promotion. It should be pointed out that this soldier ONLY has the Micro Launcher as a primary, he cannot select anything else if that matters. On his promotion i got him the perk mentioned above, and ever since then he hasnt been able to launch any grenades. Sadly i dont know if the weapon was broken before hand and just let me let off those 2 existing grenades, or if it broke when i took the perk.

The problem with that idea is that this weapon, like most modded weapons, relies on existing squad upgrades to access higher tier versions. In LWotC there are no squad upgrades, so other weapons that are not properly configured for LWotC will only be available in their conventional/ ballistic version. If you want primary launchers in LWotC take a look at Deadguy's Class Pack, it includes a class with that weapon as well as the needed config changes.

for some reason with this mod on and derbk´s new mod with WSR I can build advanced and beam launcher for free, and from start. MRCLOISTA mentioned maybe its WSR.. Any Idea where to disable it? I started a new game, with new config files...Before I did not us WSR, Veheementia addon and DERBK´s new mod, but Your mod since June 2021. looks like there is something inbetween those mods which give you the Micro Launchers for free. Not that I am complaining :-) every help is welcome, but it looks like it´s a error between those mods or only in one of them ?

Hi Mitzruti !

I am having an issue where i cant use the frost bomb og gas grenade together whit the primary grenade launcher. I am using RPGO and i dont know why/where the problem lies. Do you or anybody have a solution for that little issue ?

I will be greatfull for any help.

was something recently updated? sounds like an extra condition being added to launch grenade that isn't taking into account the possibility of a primary one.

Ugh...having an issue with this for some reason. I have been playing a campaign for several hours now without issue (pertaining to this mod) I haven't touched any of the mods installed - no new ones, no uninstalls, no editing, etc. However I just started a mission where I am unable to use it at all, the launch grenade button is greyed out and says no compatible weapon equipped.

The issue I've noticed, and I'm not entirely sure it is CAUSED by this mod, but I only notice it while using the 'nade launcher, is that there is an extra ability on the bar during a mission with the launch grenade icon, but it is unusable and the text for it says something like Missing Note Text. It's more of just an aesthetic issue, the 'real' Launch Grenade button works perfectly fine. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there another mod causing this?

@Digan if you're using the other primary Frag Grenade launcher, they seem to conflict, that one overrides this one. I would recommend disabling that mod if you intend to use this one.

Mitzruti, could you help me with this/your port of grimy's classes? My anarchist cant shoot off any grenades with the microlauncher equipped, the icons arent even there.

I think by default you should have full damage on grenades instead of half damage. This might seem unbalanced, but consider that after all the grenades are used, the grenade launcher is useless sine unlike other primary weapons, it does not have unlimited ammo.

This alone should be the trade off.

Same problem as many others. I'm using the RPGO, and the only thing that Anarchists can equip as a primary is the micro grenade launcher. Kinda sad seeing a guy with that and a holotargeter running around being nearly useless after he blows his load, so to speak.

Is there a unique weapon Im supposed to be seeing? I equip the micro grenade launcher in primary slot, but its only letting me shoot the single grenade the character has equipped with a normal frag option. Not "Light Ordinance" etc, tried scanning comments cant see anyone having issue or solving it :s

Good news! Beam tier is in, including blaster targeting. I've also included some stuff that should fix the basic launcher not appearing when added to in-progress campaigns.

I've entered the code in multiple ClassData.ini files, including the RPGO ini. But the weapon still doesn't seem to show up. Help would be appreciated

Nevermind. I discovered that the item name was actually not what I thought. The grenade launcher is now available as a primary weapon.

This does not work for me. I have RPGO and added code for what appears to be the name of the item but no primary version appears in the armoury list. Does anyone have any ideas?

@Daniel_USA: This weapon is semi-compatable with Grimy's Loot out the box, as it can be rolled as a grenade launcher from a pack. It seems to get standard grenade upgrades. I've only just started so I don't know if it causes the game to only roll Primaries or if both grenade launchers are rolled.

you need to remove the upgrade before changing out weapons or you will lose the upgrade.

I found a way to add a mod into the launcher.

Go to the weapon upgrade screen with a different soldier then tab over to the one with the launcher.

The launcher only has one slot, is there a way to make it have at least 3?

I have RPGO and Grimy's Loot and they add stuff like extra crit damage which I would like to have on my grenades.

I have a perk that increases damage by 1 for all grenades and adds a 20% crit chance as well.

So being able to increase the crit chance to something like 50% would be amazing.

IIRC, some of the Anarchist perks have been recreated or worked into several of the existing perk packs for RPGO.

Also, this is awesome, and may possibly replace Frag Cannons as my Heavy Skirmisher primary. At least until FCs get custom models.

part of why I did the extra hoop-jumping to make Launch work while attached to the weapon is so that it'd be compatible with mods like RPGO. Haven't done any RPGO plugins before... but it can't be too hard, right?

that's just the weapon category, like "shotgun" or "pistol". the weapon template itself is MicroGrenadeLauncher_CV (or MG). shouldn't be any conflicts with the fragcannon.

I'm assuming this one is incompatible with "FragCannon -Primary Grenade launcher"? They both use "grenade_launcher" in the primary slot. How about using a custom name?

@neil all you'd need to do to make the weapon compatible with RPGO is to add +AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="grenade_launcher") to the universal soldier class template, not difficult to do at all.

An RPGO plug in with the extra perks form Anarchist will probably be done eventually I'd guess.
