This is a wonderful find - my favourite books turned into my fave game - and if there is anything at all I can do to help (even if it is only checking stuff, as I know these books like the back of my hand including the 2 prequels) please just let me know and I will happily do all that I can.
We run our own production company, so assistance with art/audio/video etc is also an option.
When I started this project, I wrote down a few notes:
This mod is designed to provide factions from the David Eddings Series The Belgariad and The Malloreon.
Initially, each empire, kingdom, or faction will be produced in it's own mod. Each mod will only offer Leader, Building, and Unit upgrades. Minimal art will also be added.
The history and flavor of the world that Eddings created will be a focal point of each mod.
Perhaps the Specialist - Sorcerer (and/or Grolim) will be added at some time in the future.
When all the factions are complete, they will be compiled into one mod. Maps and Scenarios will be added to the Belgariad and Malloreon Mod at a later time.
Perhaps this could be a basis for our work. We can modify the above points to have a 'constitution' of sorts. We will all be working from the same platform for the sake of consistency.

If you are interested in giving us your opinion about faction leaders, civs, units, buildings, or other things like history, comment here and I will send you an invitation. If you would like to join the development team, please let us know.
Thank you for your support in this large (but fun!) effort.
