Making a basic Equiums version starting with player only and a hidden faction to provide wanderers, slaves, and refugees.
Also making faction addons so the basic mod has a modular approach to it.
This applies to the new textures only. Plus make a single faction base Equiums with the hidden base only. Starting faction as an addon patch mod.

I have been adjusting the east-west view. But I am limited to the space the head takes up due so plays well with other mods and vanilla parts. The fourth picture shows the shape change in head texture of the pawn side shot. And reduce the black outlines which I feel are too thick.

you know when i visualize horses, the manes are there but their not really a focus. They just tend to blow in the wind and blur. When their still, its more like hair anyways, atleast to me. Honestly i think if you work on the shape of the head, and the eyes, you will capture the spirit your looking for, the manes flow from that, trailing and blurring into the path left behind. I think anyone who really knows horses, know its the eyes that connect you. Wierd, but its like looking into a persons eyes, only deeper.

Changing textures required some fundamental changes. I am working on more with various head patterns. Hairs are going to be changed also with new manes. it takes time doing graphics and I am not so good with artwork, though slowly learning.

hope i didnt trouble you much. I read the description before signing up so I was warned there could be save breaking updates. was just worried about those missing heads. Horses are cute, headless horses are uhm disturbing lol

okay back after starting a new game and yeah new Equiums have their heads again (i like the new star pattern on some of them). saved and loaded save with 0 errors as well. I think the no deep save loss thing is probably more related to another mod, hospitality. Not sure why its not playing nice with Equiums but I know better than to expect 100% mod compatibility. Since my guess is that only "visitors" are not getting deep saved, and Im not losing my people to what ever weirdness is going on, i still consider it a win win.

the save game was from 2 days ago i believe, sorry not in game atm, was doing my usual look at mods before starting a new game = ) My game is so mod heavy any restart takes aprox 11 mins, so give me a bit and ill post what i can. Dont have any error logs. I forgot how to create them and i got yelled at once for posting it in a thread in the wrong format lol.

lol now i have a race of Headless horsemen! That was a surprise! Also been running with this since my last post and for some reason apon every load i get error messages about pawns not being deep saved and compressed away. I cant say every pawn lost this way has been an equium as i didnt read through the list every time, but i did notice alot of them were. Havnt lost any colonist to that, but uhm they have now all lost their heads. Saw you were working on head textures so Ill assume thats why? Any chance of my colonists finding their heads again? or do i need to restrat?

Maybe? The series is causing influences on me that I never expected. It is making me think what I can create with RimWorld modding. If I can get my artistic side working better. I am working on more variants of the head textures.

There are some fixed parts in the dll such as age for adult backstories and child backstories. Is Mr Ed more difficult with the regular levels or tougher with the new level?

So far I've run a couple hours with the mod. I do like the extended lifespans (I'm guessing they're set to human standard, which is fantastic). I haven't noticed much else that has changed just yet though. The storyteller is tossing raids at me left and right however I'm not sure if that's standard or not.

It is just an experimental branch of the Equiums mod. This version is for adding features, adjustments, and fixes. It is only be here for a while. If you want to discover what I have put in the mod and give some feedback this is the place.
