Not working for me either. Applied the SQL fix. Can't target Bands with Apostles
It appears as Enabled in the Main Menu "additional content" but once I load up a save I note that it does not seem to appear in the "Mods in use" list

It doesn't work for me, even with SQL fix.

Am I using this mod wrong? I started a new game with this mod enable but i'm unable to cast down my holy wrath on any rock bands. Did I miss a step?

@BLÀde yes the ironic thing is if this happens you'll need to rush Apostles in to pave the way for your rock bands

Well... Religion is just kind of opium for the people.

My experience with that game was that Rock Bands seemed to only push up MY Domestic Tourist total, with no or little affect on Tourists from other Civs, i.e. Rock Bands were a defense against Cultural Victory by other Civs.

The only other thing that would be perfect would be if rock bands could fight each other - BATTLE OF THE BANDS!!!

Considering the "satanic rock n' roll" panic of the 1970s and 80s, this makes all the sense in the world. Great idea!

I had one Rock Band that got a 2 level performance bonus for playing on World Wonders with a total of 3 promotions. I think I got as much as 28,000 Tourism from some concerts "My face melted...", and they just kept going. Rock Band concerts seemed to only (or mostly) increase my Domestic Tourist total, not my Tourists from other Civs.

@BLÀde I don't think it's this mod. But I can't rule it out. This mod adds some traits of missionaries to the rock band, which may have unintentionally given them straightforward charges instead of the variable number of charges. But I doubt it.

Can anyone else confirm that rock bands only have one charge with this mod?

@BLÀde what promotions are you using for your rockbands? Generally rock bands die after one or two uses unless you get lucky or you play really strategic (EG: Get the album cover promotion and only play at world wonders)

not sure if it's this mod but every single rock band i create dies after one concert.

Renaming the bands your favorite rock bands, and then converting the world with said favorite rock bands actually sounds hella funny.

Funny that someone should mention Marilyn Manson. He and Rob Zombie are doing a North America Tour starting in Baltimore July 9. "Hell Never Dies tour 2019". Start stockpiling your faith now.

@Moyocoya, I have no idea whether the AI will user this; however, the game is seeing the Rock Bands as a form of Missionary now in addition to being a Rock Band. So I would hope it will mobilize Apostles and Inquisitors against them.

It depends on the country you live in. In France I've never seen preachers killing rock stars :-D

This mod would be truly realistic if it was linked - for example - with leading in religion or with opposite governments (democratie vs theocratie or communism). It could then be logical accorded to reality and history of countries like Saudi Arabia or USSR.
