If the only thing you're looking for in this module is to enhance aesthetic impressions, I recommend trying this module - No Power Wires - which simply hides the wiring. :IHbolt:

It works, but didn't draw circle

This breaks DeepRim (Continued) gizmos if you use Lower-tech drills option in mod settings.

Anyone still using this mod? and is it safe to use?
VulpineVandal Feb 20, 2022 @ 9:09am
i recently discovered that this mod specifically borks the ability to pick up and move some modded workbenches. no idea why. not a game breaking thing to be sure, but still a bit odd.

a bigger selection circle would be nice

This should be updated to make the reconnection radius a tile (half a tile?) larger. Vanilla objects can be reconnected to something slightly farther than this mod allows.

this mod is a bloody lifesaver when working with more complex / claustrophobic grids. pairs great with parallel conduits

Thanks! This is great for turrets and stuff connected to PowerSwitch . Among other things of course.

This makes it so much easier to manage hydroponics and prison areas. Many thanks!

Simply amazing!

Okay then. I will work around that; thank you.

I am using this mod plus power switches on timers plus furnace (and solar power)

It's a v helpful mod :)

you would never want to connect directly to a switch, rimworld purposefully disallows it on switches.

even if it was allowed, the device would end up seeking another conduit/grid the moment the switch turns off
lilwhitemouse May 4, 2020 @ 8:16pm
I don't suppose things can connect to power switches?
Supes  [author] May 1, 2020 @ 7:57pm
I've updated it to work with multiple selected now
Kamorzy Apr 28, 2020 @ 10:08pm
This is very useful, especially for controlling shutdowns of certain parts of the base. I did notice though that if you select multiple devices and try it, it won't connect to any conduits and pressing escape only exits out of 1. The others can't be cancelled and won't connect. Restarting reset it.

Thanks for updating great mod!

@Supes
OMG, thank you.

i couldn't slam the subscribe button fast enough after reading what this does :D.
finally tidy looking cables :D
IronSpartan114 Mar 31, 2019 @ 6:17pm
holy shit dude, no more deconstructing conduit for me
sord33 Mar 11, 2019 @ 9:37pm
This thing is underrated. It is very useful, but also very minor. I use it so they connect as close to the power source as possible so there's less conduits that have a chance of being destroyed.
Supes  [author] Feb 24, 2019 @ 2:35pm
thanks guys, simple to use was what I was going for, while still being able to see hidden conduits (like those in walls)
Ivellios Feb 23, 2019 @ 10:35pm
Oh yay. Thanks. Tired of having to run conduits through rooms from the switch because it wants to connect to the wall.
Jaxx - pshoooo Feb 22, 2019 @ 12:13pm
simplistic and effective. just what we need :)
