@zxoeathustra Is this your first campaign? or are you saying the mod is broken. If you've played before you'll know that buildings are tied to recruitment cost as are the types of towns you've built. for instance, you build a samurai town for your samurai recruitment center, but don't make try to make it an ashigaru one at the same time or you'll waste resources.

If it's actually broken does it only happen when you're the Miyoshi? or does it occur frequently no matter what happens? I played through just recently with a friend and the only issue we noticed was that certain factions were obnoxiously overpowered, like the hojo being able to have 5 armies with only 4 provinces. or the Ashikaga Shogunate being peaced out for 100k Koku while my friend actually took a massive deficit just by taking Kyoto.

chosokabe campaign is impossible. they AI seem to have unlimited koku and no unit cap. The mioshi retainers are imposible to counter because you can't possibly have the koku to support any samurai or decent units and manage an economy. Farms and ashigaru should be much cheaper. Ashigaru as of now for some reason are more expensive than samurai sitting at around 700 koku while their samurai counterparts are at 500 koku. makes no sense! here's no way to diplo yourself out of it either.

Wasn't Great Guard supposed to be the Cavalry Unit as part of Kyoto after becoming the Shogun?

Thanks for your kind words however I think you are confusing me with the real author of MoSS; EngineerWeierstrass. I am just the creator of unit mods that add new units to his mod so you should chechk him for your questions.

But if you insist on my answer:))) try strongholds of samurai mod for vanilla game. It was created by Sorinel and has been constantly updated by him. Last update was 2 days ago?? I think.

Hello, i have seen your Mod on youtube and i have to say i am highly impressed but i have one question. Since i don't want to perplex my game too much and just want your amazing custom castle maps can i just download the castle maps so that they can apply to my campaigns or do i have to download everything including the unit changes, buildings etc.

Ps: i mean no disrespect the mod looks amazing but i want to keep it as simple as possible but with more realistic castles. Thanks in advance :)

As I was making my 14 submods, I suspected that I can do some balancing better. So there will be updates(balance, change of faction for units) in this week for all my mods.

Binded new units with possible updates for these units. Now they will grow stronger as other units.

For unlocker, It modifies directly the original clans files. I need to prepare another for new clans which I cannot promise right now. The other mods probably work but units which are unique to the clans that are not present in new clan mod wont controllable by you. As these spesific clans are minor factions, You can see them as minor factions' units.

The problem seems to have fixed itself. It must have indeed been a load order issue. Altho quite strange considering I redid the load order multiple times in alphabetical order. Must be very unforseen. Anyways the units that caused it were the Kata Militia and the Great Guard unit.

I tried to locate the bug but cannot see. This grey black issue is probably loading order issue. Can you look to my collection page for loading order of the mods.

Otherwise, I wish I could see the portraits of the units, that would be much easier.

The Horse Cavalry costs 1050, while the Melee Infantry costs 380 to recruit on the custom battle interface. Filename: ABC_0.3_MainModule.pack

There seems to be a bug. 2 of the units seem to have a grey/black overlay when hoovering over them in campaign and custom map. The stats are visible but the units have no names.

Unit 1: Low tier sword infantry with 390 unit strenght.

Unit 2: High tier Cavalry Halbedier. 90 unit strenght.

I am using all of your additional unit mods for MoSS. No other unit mods except the MoSS mod itself. The bug is located in this mod file.

Added Kneel Fire ability to campaign(don't know if you can research, need saved game). At least it works in custom battle.

While Engineer is not available full time for some time, I tried to fix some stuff. Consider them as temporary until Engineer fix them officially. Again as I have no late game save, I don't know if it is working:

I'm on win10, I think this might be the problem. I have the "mod" option ticked in "change pack type" and I always test with 1 mod only (except when I need 2 mods in order for it to work).
Literally, I made 2 identical mods yesterday, on their own they won't work or even get recognized (I can still play MP with other people), and if I tick them both they'll work just fine.

And you know the general rule right? The mod you activate first overwrites anything comes after if they have something in common. That may be also a problem.

Thanks for the answers, textures and torubleshooting all make sense.
What OS do you use btw? I'm having problems with both PFM 4.1 and 5.0 and I'm wondering if it might be an OS problem. The mods I make sometimes don't get recognized at all, and sometimes I have to tick 2 identical mods in order for the game to recognize them. I made a few successful mods but I'm always having issues with these bugs. Any ideas?

And I will add a couple of other units mod. Some people may not like them. So being module is way more helpful for those. If they don't like, they unsubscribe. It's simple.

The thing is, by this way, it is way more easy to handle errors. Sometimes it isn't as easy to suspect why the problem is happening. So the more narrow the scoop is, the easier it becomes to handle.

Also some mods have textures which I can't handpick to separate them, so it is better that some of them overwrites on the others.

Lastly, most of the modders care.

I use PFM(latest version). You can merge them by yourself if you want but probably need to update manually, if I update any of it.

What do you mean by combining? There is only 1 file published by me. Others are all MoSS files(mandatory). You can tick/untick as per your preferences from optional MoSS modules (castles, replenishment, unrest etc.).

Seems fine; I just loaded with the parts I said mandatory( you can add optional ones if you want, castles etc.)

Probably the issue is you have to click the mods in the right order. First this then click in alphabetical(up to down). I intentionally named the mod starting with "A" so that user can click starting from up to downmost of the list.

Hey it dose'nt seem to be loading in the units? I've downloaded all the dlc and clicked on all the mandatory downloads but still isn't appearing?
