@JustAndrew, Rearmed removes the NIArms requirements, so is intended for people that prefer RHS weapons to NIArms. Thats all

Can't be fixed. Don't run them at the same time, only C7 and C7 M203 are from Task Force Canada, C8 and C9 are not.

Heya, been testing this version of Blufor alongside some other faction mods and noticed that if we load Proj. Blufor, it seems to overwrite the Task Force Canada mod's guns, hiding them from the arsenal + spawnable units. My initial guess is this is something to do with the donated C7, C8 and C9 from TFC in this mod - is there any way on your end that this can be fixed or would we have to go to TCF about it?

Maybe? However the list is quite long and would make the description cluttered, and for those requesting factions, looking at the actual factions in the mod should give an idea what is included

I think there is a issue for IHWCU against Project BLUFOR, seems the new update from both the PR BLU and IHWCU seems to cause a bit of a conflict of IHWCU, causing the new equipment to be invisible and not only that, takes over the original IHWCU addon, making it disappear.

That is something on your end, we don't have an addon called "MoreAVS", nor do we have that error.

More than likely something is conflicting.

You either have a broken download, or you are trying to download a save game from before the last patch, which causes it to break cause it depends on an older version of the mod.

@A-B-C-D Rearmed is a modified fork that removed NI-Arms. It will be updated to the latest version of PB once it's been forked

Yeah, the fix is gonna be updated ASAP, ran in to the same issue myself.

Until then, have to wait or dsable BLUFOR.

Thanks @Kartsa. Just to expand on it a bit as well, as in another community, we are seeing similar things where the same error message is coming up. When we run into that error in a multiplayer mission hosted on our own dedicated server, when we try to load the mission file, it just takes us back to the role selection screen. It does not let us past this point.

I've sent a possible fix to Capry who will update it when he can.
Otherwise the error itself shouldn't cause any issues other than the popup.

Unfortunately no, that's the only error line I get.

I managed to stop the errors from happening once literally every object has been deleted, including hide terrain object modules.

It's rather weird. I don't get those errors when I place down the units (using Estonian, Polish and Finish forces) in a new mission. Only get those errors in already existing missions I've worked on.

Currently I am getting this specific error on the mission I was working on for the past few days since the new update:

'bin/config.bin/CfgPatches/PB_Rucksack.units' .

I've tried deleting all placed units and I still get this error. Any ideas what could be causing this? Cheers. :cozybethesda:

TFAR, at least on my side of the community, is becoming less popular and I've seen a lot of people swap to ACRE2 since it feels slightly less clunky and more reliable.

Honestly, it would seem less complicated to either not play around with radio/TS3 systems and let mission creators tweak around with it, or at least, just add the optional compat files that way people aren't coming with errors.

I don't know if it's been updated yet, I haven't gotten back to retesting the mod yet, but if so, great, good mod! :)

@Whitey You can make it so that any compat is optional, see https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/CfgPatches . In the section "Root" there is an entry about 'skipWhenMissingDependencies = 1', which is what you would want to add to the compat mod for e.g. TFAR (or even NIArms, if you want). ACE has switched to doing that and it's been successful, I recommend doing the same.

@All - Getting the error messages starting ARMA using this mod after the update? Easy fix!


Find these 2 files:

ArmaReTex_Radios.pbo.ProjectBlufor_v0.20.bisign
ArmaReTex_Radios.pbo


And MOVE them into a folder OUTSIDE of the 'Addons' folder. (ARMA can NOT be running!)

No more errors!


This is a LONG STANDING ISSUE WITH THIS MOD!


I have to do this EVERY update for 3 years now (when those files are updated)....

Any way the C7A1 can be released separately? Probably the best C7A1 model available currently
