Dawitus Gulo II Feb 21, 2015 @ 2:58pm
Is it deliberate that the Colorado upgrades to Infantry and not Great War Infantry?
Faysal Feb 17, 2015 @ 8:32pm
YNAEMP compatible?
Leugi  [author] Jan 13, 2015 @ 6:40am
@gonomax: It's a strange issue steam has sometimes, I'd suggest redownloading from the CivFanatics link instead.
Gono Jan 10, 2015 @ 7:31pm
Can you help me? this mod and the Cuban Civ one crashes my mod screen when I try to intall them, do you know how to fix it?
Faysal Jan 2, 2015 @ 9:57pm
OMG if it is compatible, I will implement it immediately :)

Thnx!
Leugi  [author] Jan 2, 2015 @ 4:48am
@Faysal, as far as I remember yeah... Though TSL maps tend to have only mountains on the region so its slightly moved.
Faysal Dec 26, 2014 @ 9:41am
TLS compatible?
jjs Nov 6, 2014 @ 3:29pm
OH ME GUSTA I WANT THIS NNNNOOOOWWWWW :)
USuX Oct 29, 2014 @ 2:38pm
judging by the picture, are you getting ready to make a civ BE mod? also can we be steam friends?
Mojave Neon Oct 27, 2014 @ 1:32pm
If you don't have a free slot, you can just send it on a tour, which is still more useful than expending it for a WLTKD.
USuX Oct 27, 2014 @ 1:02pm
Hello
Are you planning on making a 3D leader scene for Bolivia? Would that be really hard?
Leugi  [author] Oct 27, 2014 @ 8:38am
@ruthgebietheld... if you don't have free slots you can still have the WLTKD... Seriously though, the mod was OP when WLTKD didn't expend the unit... and my tests after changing that still feel powerful enough. I can increase the number of turns back to 20, but I will not go back at making the WLTKD passive.
Mojave Neon Oct 25, 2014 @ 1:33pm
Increased growth rate for ten turns isn't even close to adequate compensation for losing out on a great work.
Leugi  [author] Oct 24, 2014 @ 4:35am
WLTKD's increased Growth Rate. Having a lot of citizens can surely help a tall culture game.

At any rate, might revise it soon anyway, as I'll have to update for some more compatibility
Mojave Neon Oct 23, 2014 @ 2:06pm
How is it powerful enough? It only winds up giving you 20 tourism if you expend it for the WLTKD, which is the same as you would gain from having him create a great work and going through the same ten turns. And the great work continues to give tourism after that, whereas the WLTKD does not. So it's actually worse than using it to make a great work. That's not good.
Leugi  [author] Oct 23, 2014 @ 5:10am
It was passive... but it was regarded as OP :P

I disagree though, I have played the civ and I found expending for WLTKD powerful enough...
Mojave Neon Oct 19, 2014 @ 12:45am
Most of this was pretty good, but the Comparsa Folklorica was a major disappointment. If you're going to make a UU Great Person, it has to be insanely good, or have a constant passive effect that benefits your civ. The only thing that this can do that a Great Musician can't, is be expended to start a single WLTKD in one city. That's actually less beneficial than a Great Musician's generic abilities. The UA does help a little as far as this expenditure is concerned, but not nearly enough. You really should have gone with a UB instead of a waste of a second UU. Or make the Comparsa Folklorica's WLTKD passive, without having to expend the unit (although probably with a 20-30 turn cooldown so that you can't just always keep a city in WLTKD). As it currently stands, it's pretty much a complete waste of a unique.
Silverfishv9 Oct 14, 2014 @ 4:43pm
Bolivia can into sea in this game, is super unrealistic.
Leugi  [author] Oct 2, 2014 @ 9:34am
Updated!
daigotsumax Oct 1, 2014 @ 1:02am
Brilliant, thanks Leugi!
Leugi  [author] Sep 29, 2014 @ 8:04pm
@daigostsumax: It's not a conflict but an internal bug... I'm right now on the process of updating Bolivia anyway (and bug-balance testing); so a new version will be uploaded tomorrow most likely.

Some few things will change though, getting the WLTKD will expend the Comparsa, and some other minor balance stuff.
daigotsumax Sep 29, 2014 @ 3:39pm
What an elegant mod! However, my cities don't seem to be getting a free Great Work of Music slot - can't expand my comparsas so far. Anybody else seeing this? I wonder if itt's a conflict with other mods.
Paradise Aug 30, 2014 @ 5:46pm
Leugi the mods you create are some of the best
k #stanbts Jul 9, 2014 @ 3:38pm
They should have navy buffs, as everyone knows about the almighty Bolivian navy. Just kidding, will definitely play, looks fun.
Ashardalon125 May 2, 2014 @ 9:40am
When the Comparsa Folklorica says "first city" does that mean it only works in the one city or can it be used on multiple cities?
Hokath Apr 3, 2014 @ 3:57am
The AI usually has buckets of extra happiness, does that mean that their Colorado are super powered?
Turboscopic Mar 10, 2014 @ 4:07pm
I'm just imagining having 100 happiness and using a handful of those colorado guys... 20 extra combat strength o_o yikes
Leugi  [author] Feb 15, 2014 @ 6:19am
So, for anyone that was waiting for a Perú civilization, there it goes!

Yeah, so the more religions you have in a city, the more Comparsas and Culture you'll earn.
USuX Jan 10, 2014 @ 7:35pm
do you mean that when a city has different followers from different religions then it gains one point per religion?
Leugi  [author] Jan 7, 2014 @ 4:38pm
multiple religions in each city, yep.
USuX Jan 7, 2014 @ 2:59pm
What do you mean by "for every religion"? Does this civ encourage the player to have multiple religions ?
Leugi  [author] Jan 6, 2014 @ 6:15pm
Bolivia has been updated! Made everything synergize betterly! Enjoy.
Leugi  [author] Nov 19, 2013 @ 5:44am
@ItWasntME: I have finally went through and managed to get the pixelated issue. It seems it depends on some Video Card configuration, so you should check your video card graphic properties. In my case when the properties were focused on performance (and thus, not so great graphics) it led to pixelation of some of my icons, Bolivia included.
ejaureguimartinez Nov 16, 2013 @ 9:07am
Very cool mods, what civilization are you planning to do next?
Greetings from Mexico!
USuX Oct 21, 2013 @ 3:29pm
i meant when i go to perform a concert it s just a very short roll of drums. i was just wondering if that was the way it was supposed to go. and do you have any suggestions to fix the pixelated thing.
Leugi  [author] Oct 21, 2013 @ 12:16pm
@ItWasntMe: The pixelated thing, no... The short tune yes, that's how Great Works of Music are portrayed in game too.
USuX Oct 20, 2013 @ 7:13pm
hey the comparsa folklorica pictures and the bolivian flag look pixelated
and the comparsa folklorica plays a very short tune
is that supposed to happen?
can you post a video demo-ing the mod please?
thank you
Leugi  [author] Oct 17, 2013 @ 6:40am
The mod has been updated! Music no longer requires to be installed!
Dead To The Solar System Oct 2, 2013 @ 11:58am
cool mod but colorado seems a bit op.
Leugi  [author] Aug 12, 2013 @ 9:52am
@wug-06: Simply subscribe to the mod and Civ5 will then proceed to download it and install it directly...

If you have any issues with downloading through steam, try the link at the bottom of the description to CivFanatics, as its also uploaded there.
wug-06 Aug 12, 2013 @ 8:41am

Leugi  [author] Aug 12, 2013 @ 7:04am
@ItWasntME and Brooklyn Joe: Thanks! I'm glad you had good experiences with this mod.
Thalen22 Aug 9, 2013 @ 8:51pm
Hey, man, my grandfather is a native Bolivian and his eyes lit up when I showed him this. I'd definitely play this game, but I want to thank you most of all for giving me and my grandfather to converse about Belzu and the other great leaders they you have exposed me to.
USuX Aug 9, 2013 @ 5:35pm
wow i lived in Bolivia for 10 years and no one ever told me he was a truly admirable president.
I started playing this mod today and the bg music is amazing.i love the selection. good job.

fuck melgarejo. he is a stupid twat. It just enrages me whenever i remember him.

Good job again I ll check your other mods later on :D

Leugi  [author] Aug 9, 2013 @ 4:57pm
@ItWasntME: yeah, Bolivian food is amazing, but that's the hard part of doing civs, choosing haha. However, the Comparsa's festivity is a We Love the King Day, which increases the growth and food surplus, so its somewhat linked. :D

About Belzu... Well, he had an interesting thing going on in his government. After Bolivar and Sucre who are not so exclussively Bolivian, most of Bolivia's governments were mostly an Oligarchy who kept its power and all that. Belzu was born in a humble family. When he managed to become president he started giving rights to the lower classes and even to the indigenous people, which made him be called "Tata Belzu", he was beloved by the people. However the oligarchy was so strong that he was forced to renounce. He came back afterwards to defeat Melgarejo (the worst possible president we had), and he defeated him, however he was then killed from the back by him... He's an interesting lad.
USuX Aug 9, 2013 @ 4:34pm
i really appreciate your work. Although Bolivia has a dark history i am happy with this mod.
what was your reasoning behind choosing belzu?
I wish you could add a feature relating to bolivian food...yummy....misssing it
