This mod will not affect soldiers from Character Pool, intentionally. You have to set their weapon color in Character Pool yourself.
@Phoenix
I tested and can confirm the issue, I'll look into it.
Fixed, thanks.
I've just published an update to this mod. It now works through Mod Config Menu rather than through configuration files.
Now it should work more reliably, as previously - as I've only recently realized - whether it worked or not depended on unpredictable config load order.
I had to update this mod to fix a bug. The mod now uses "XComSoldierGeneration.ini" configuration file instead of the "XComContent.ini". So the update will have reset configs for everyone. Apologies, I didn't really know how to make this mod properly back at the time.
What class ID?
No idea, you'll have to test.

I'd love to do that, and add MCM support into more of my mods in general, but unfortunately MCM is kinda super hard to figure out, even with all the examples and documentation. Some efforts are being done to make mcm more accessible to laymen like me, and once it's made public, I might use it for this mod and otherd d where it makes sense.

Not sure what you mean. Just disable this mod and that's what you'll get.
In any case, no you cannot use this mod to do anything other than what it does already. The actual functionality is in the Highlander, this mod merely provides configuration for it.
You can't disable automatic coloring, because automatic coloring is not a thing. A tintable weapon must have a tint of some color. Because "lack of color" is not a thing that exists.
That functionality had to be removed to make the mod more compatible. You can regulate percentages with another mod, called Patriarchy.
Updated the mod, now it requires Highlander v1.18, but now it's compatible with everything.
Technically, you now don't need this mod at all, and can just change the default weapon color in the Highlander.
they override the same classes, so they are incompatible.
Done.
Hmm, I've looked at that mod, and I like what it does, I should be able to incorporate its functionality into my mod as well. Thanks.
Hey thanks for the speedy response! Don't worry about the campaign, it's one of the hazards of installing mods. I just wanted to get a second opinion from someone who knows more about the backend of modding than I do. Please keep up the great work, I love your mods!
Could be, but ther's nothing I can do to restore your campaign, sorry.
