Can confirm the workshop version fails to function entirely. I have not the slightest clue why. Going to try to fix it.

That's a design choice on paradox's end - it shows a placeholder name before downloading the real mod. This shouldn't cause any issues at all. I'm finally free to come back to modding so, I'll see if i can test this.

So, it doesnt seem to work for me either. What happens is, when I redownload it and open the launcher, it shows Cheat traits and cheat traits - updated. The cheat traits I can select right away the other I cant. If I restart the launcher the updated one is gone.

It still works fine for me. I would reccomend deleting the local copy of the mod, which should be located in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod and then you should restart steam. If it continues to have issues, try running it without any other mods. If the problem persists despite all of this, I'll try and find a solution for you.

The traits dont show up
Kellen  [author] Sep 17, 2019 @ 12:39pm
That'll stop you from playing multiplayer or getting ironman achivements until you get rid of it. But if it works, it works.

fixed it had to drag the trait cheat txt from mods to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings II\common\traits for it to start showing up as an actual trait even though I had the mod selected in the mod load order thing.

Seems to be working. No clue what's wrong.
Kellen  [author] Sep 16, 2019 @ 6:00pm
When I test it, it works fine. I'll check to see if the workshop version is correct.
Darthrunic Sep 16, 2019 @ 5:40pm
when I do add_trait cheat_noinherit says could not find trait.
Kellen  [author] Jun 8, 2019 @ 3:55pm
Are you also subscribed to the old version? make sure you are only subscribed to thew new version.
SirPizza Jun 8, 2019 @ 11:08am
To me only appears the old version of the mod, no the new
Kellen  [author] Apr 28, 2019 @ 8:29pm
See if it works with no other mods turned on: If it does, but doesn't work with UCT on, then it conflicts. If it doesn't work with no other mods turned on; It's a problem either on my end or your end.. Either way I still need to fix whatever issue @jojobe is having
Grey Alien Apr 28, 2019 @ 7:16pm
It doesn't seem to work for me. Does it perhaps conflict with the UCT mod?
jojobe Apr 26, 2019 @ 3:00am
3.011
Kellen  [author] Apr 25, 2019 @ 12:54pm
which specific version?
jojobe Apr 25, 2019 @ 1:40am
the old version can not find this trait.

Yeah, it was measles. Didn't realise. Since he died on January 14th, I reloaded from the autosave a few times and it happened again and again. It was just that it said he died 'of natural causes', as opposed to something specific, so I thought, maybe I added the wrong trait. Thanks for your prompt response.
Kellen  [author] Apr 4, 2019 @ 12:22am
Actually you might have died from a event. The trait has immortality enabled AND gives you a incredible amount of health in order to prevent death, but none of the traits actually protect you from death due to events. This includes plots, as all they do is trigger a event when they suceed or fail. Even though, you shouldn't die to a plot when you have such a insane amount of intrigue.

If you are running a mod that adds old-age events (I think HIP does?) those might kill you. It's worth mentioning that if you add the trait via ruler designer, due to a bug, the immortality effect will not count. This is why it gives you a excessive amount of health - it's a workaround until the bug is fixed. I don't believe this bug effects addition via console though, so if you have a save file from before the character died, just remove the trait and re-add it and you should be fine.

Yes, i'm pretty sure it does. Also apparently steam has broken the description a bit. give me a sec to fix that.
Gallopfreyan Apr 3, 2019 @ 10:31pm
I love this mod, it's been great fun. Though I do have a question; 'cheat_noinherit' includes immortality, doesn't it? I ask because I just had a ruler die of old age (about 80yo).
Kellen  [author] Mar 13, 2019 @ 10:19pm
Is this happening again? I'll get this sorted out twomorrow, but for now I think you're just gonna have to check the mod folder and make sure everything downloaded right.
Shweatee Mar 13, 2019 @ 8:05pm
Can't find the trait with ruler designer and it's not a compatibility problem I tried with only this mod activated. I'm running v3.0.1.1.
Kellen  [author] Jan 28, 2019 @ 9:26am
Updated - please check if it works now.
Kellen  [author] Jan 28, 2019 @ 9:19am
Okay thats really weird. I thought i fixed that...
Once again, i'll try to upload the fixed version.
pst999 Jan 27, 2019 @ 11:12pm
Also having trouble finding the traits. Can't add them with console either as it can't find them.
Kellen  [author] Jan 19, 2019 @ 8:40am
Bizzare - i'll see what i can do.
Ant1828 Jan 19, 2019 @ 2:09am
i also have issues finding the traits, using a new install of ck2 with shattered realms mod
Kellen  [author] Jan 16, 2019 @ 10:03pm
Did you forget to enable the mod, or are you still subscribed to the old version? additionally, what other mods are you using?
Genseric123 Jan 16, 2019 @ 6:03pm
the traits dont show up in my game for some reason
Kellen  [author] Jan 16, 2019 @ 10:23am
Its more complicated to do, and I want this to stay as simple as possible so it's compatible with nearly everything.
blackeagle56 Jan 16, 2019 @ 4:44am
why only male children ? You can't with female children too ?
