If you like to explore the Waldstadt Europäische Schule line, just weld the track after Fächerbad 2. Here's how to do it:
Press 'Esc' then click 'World Editor'. Click the train track at the top left. Move to the symbol under the tape measure.. click 'Weld' .. now look for a grey cube hovering above the two buffers and press on it. All done and hit the orange arrow key, bottom right.

Thank you @fizzbin for your hard work. I will not alter that which you have put back or took out. Nice work on the loop at the technology park. Great to see that you have extended to Reitschulschlag, adding an interesting double loop in half way. It's unfortunate that UrbanTrainSim had higher cat wire than OHLE and their trams do not automatically open from the HUD. After saying that, it would not work on some platforms. Thank you for keeping the loop at the Castle School. It would be nice if the crossing of the line welded. The extension to Wörth looks good.
I have created a Standard Scenario for the version I did, I will upload to rail-sim .de with any improvements to V7, because it is not compatible with SKP V2 Beta. I will look at doing some for your new beta version. Thanks for leaving the London (Routemaster) Bus in the square.

I have an update now. It was possible to merge it with my newer project in which I began to extend towards Wörth and some other branches in the city of Karlsruhe. After the merge I have to rebuild some tracks on the new sections. Most of the new sections are far from finished. Some parts has some first scenery, some parts have not. But mostly it is possible to drive there (without OHLE!)
New QuickDrive is included. In fact I cannot upload it anymore on the workshop all new versions will come on other platforms. You need:

- Portsmouth Direct Line - London Waterloo to Portsmouth

Updated, again, replaced signal at Techno Park - now has vr attached. To load passengers when driving U4's, open doors using cab buttons and then press load/unload from panel (under 'wipers') on HUD. This triggers a timer. Personally, I try to use the timer for major tram stops.

Oh man, I just tried the route from spoeck to karlsruhe hbf, and it is absolutely amazing! Is there or do you know someone who makes scenarios for this map or someone who adds AI traffic? Not that it isn't amazing whithout it, but it would add a bit of realism. Apart from that, I freaking loved it!

I used to get a lot of dump error messages when saving in older x64 versions of TS. I think TS have resolved the problem and editing in x64 is better. I learned to delete cache files in 'Content' folder: TMCache.dat.MD5, TMCache.dat, SDBCache.bin.MD5, SDBCache.bin. Plus, delete the other two for fun. It worked to some point. However, I did see dump errors when I made too many adjustments and my GPU used to spike beyond 3GB and dump. Finally, I had to do it slowly - do a bit and save. When I edited tracks.. well, took a long time to save.

As I can say for now it seems that there will be no newer version here on the workshop in fact of additional activated providers (I´ve tried it, but did´nt work). But I will tell If a new version comes and where to find :).
Actually I have connect somehow the last version (by Skipper) with another version from me. This needs to rebuild some tracks on new sections and some stuff. Further I am working on some modifications on the "old" section (for example a new curve to drive from Wolfartsweier to Durlach). But it´s allabout a slow process because of other prirorities in private and work life, and too often the TS goes me on the nerve.
By this time I have most of scenery in the area KA-Mühlburg - Ka-Westbahnhof. Some placed ideas and rudimentary placed objects for tram lines to Waldstadt, Oberreut, Rheinhafen, Rheinstrandsiedlung. Also some connections through the city are planned (fictive and most of them as subway).

I´dont know how, but it´s actuall possible to build shorter curves without copy :) (at early stage I´ve tried to copy the curves, but the TS makes DUMP-errors.)

Please have a look at my last 8 screenshots (comments as well) of me in World Editor. The only problem is that it doesn't show where my mouse pointer arrow is. Fly to the Long and Lat on the images. Then, if you managed to do it, just pick up the curves and move to where you would like to have your loop. It is tricky at first, but that's what I did for Wolfartsweier Nord. I made two loops at the castle music school and flew the second over to Wolf.. Then I adjusted the angles and joined them. Sometimes when joining, the tracks can overlap, but I just highlight and delete the extra bit. You could try to make the loop at the place you want it, but if that doesn't work then try to make a curve at another place or just copy and paste the ones I have done :)
If you still cannot make a short curve, I can upload my version again, with the two loops from the example screenshots

Thanks for your version. First look looks good. I´m creating some new QD and then make some test drives. Don´t know if adding to the workshop is possible, with another some little modded route I´ve tried for some time it was not possible for unknown reason (and I used only one additional DTG addon. Theoretical it had to be worked). Alternate I can upload this to a download section of a railsim-forum.
By the way, how you make it that it´s now possible to build these short curves (loops) at Wolfartsweier, Schloss Gottesaue and Hirtenweg? Thats great. At early version I´ve tried it, but it didnt work.

I already own the Route Mannheim - Karlsruhe but I can´t start the route. What can I do?

Aktueller Stand:
Aufgrund der geplanten Erweiterung habe ich mich zu einer Namensänderung der Strecke entschlossen da S2 im Zuge der Streckenerweiterung in Richtung Wörth nicht mehr passend ist. Der neue Name wird vorraussichtlich Stadtbahn Karlsruhe sein und demnächst als separate WIP-Route hier im Workshop erhältlich sein.
Weiterer Grund für diese Änderung: für die Erweiterung werde ich auf Assets anderer DTG-Strecken zurückgreifen, sodass neben dem Mannheim-Karlsruhe Addon auch weitere benötigt werden. Benötigt werden zusätzlich: Frankfurt Highspeed Addon. Änderungen vorbehalten.
Die Wörth-Erweiterung basiert geografisch nun übrigens auf Google Overlay. Aber wie bisher gilt: basierend auf realen Strecken aber trotzdem mit künstlerischer Freiheit!

Die Strecke darf gerne beliebig erweitert / optimiert oder gar verbessert werden, wenn diese privat verbleibt, oder als Freeware veröffentlicht wird. Im Falle einer Veröffentlichung als Freeware möchte ich informiert werden, wo diese zu finden ist (möchte sie vielleicht selbst ausprobieren ;) ).
Bei einer Veröffentlichung ist kenntlich zu machen, dass
1.) Teile der Strecke von DTG gebaut und
2.) Teile der hier bestehenden Erweiterung von meiner Wenigkeit ("Fizzbin, FP Productions") erstellt wurden (Dies kann beispielsweise in einer beigefügten Readme oder in der Streckenbeschreibung zur Strecke sein), und
3.) was zusätzlich verändert/ergänzt/optimiert/verbessert wurde
Sollten Assets aus Nicht-DTG Quellen verwendet werden gilt. Copyrightverletzungen sind zu verhindern !

Klingt super! Bin gespannt, was hier noch kommt! Viele meiner Freunde mögen deine Erweiterung. Welche Voraussetzungen würde es geben für eine eigene Erweiterung? LG :)

Irgendwann will ich noch an bestehender Strecke ein paar Kleinigkeiten ausbessern/ergänzen. Bis Ende Sommer habe ich allerdings andere Prioritäten.
Die Erweiterung nach Wörth war lediglich mal eine Idee! Falls ich diese tatsächlich mal ergänzen sollte wäre es vorr. nicht vor Ende des Jahres. Erweiterungen Ri Pfinztal, Albtal, City oder sonstige Richtungen wird es aber definitiv nicht von mir geben.

Habe aber - unter bestimmten Vorraussetzungen ! - nichts dagegen wenn jemand eine zusätzliche Erweiterung machen möchte.

DB-Strecke ab Söllingen über Durlach (Einmal für die DB-Seite und einmal mit Endstation dort), dann teilen sich ja die Wege in Durlach und dann weiter nach Karlsruhe Hbf und ggf. bis Wörth. :)

Eine erweiterung bis Landau oder Neustadt wäre auch nice XD

Vielleicht gibt´s eines Tages kleine Anpassungen mit zusätzlichen Assets, mal sehen. Kurzzeitig kam auch der Gedanke die DB-Strecke bis Wörth zu verlängern, aber auch hier: mal sehen.

Auf die Verbindungen zum HBF via Karlsruher City habe ich bewusst verzichtet aufgrund der Einschränkung der Kurvenradien (keine Ahnung wie DTG z.B. die Wendeschleifen gebaut hat) und weil ich mich erstmal nur auf die Streckenassets beschränken wollte. Damit macht ein Bau in dieser Richtung keinen Sinn, da sich 1. Gebäudetechnisch zuviel wiederholen würde und 2. viele Bereiche zusätzlich fiktiv würden (Querung der ???-Allee, Gleisviereck Rüppurrer Tor, Tivoli, Poststr., Gleisdreieck Ebertstr., ganz zu schweigen vom Bahnhofsgebäude Albtalbahnhof.)
Außerdem habe ich auch das Gefühl dass es in dieser Richtung eine Unendliche Geschichte geworden wäre (Erweiterung bis HBF, dann noch der Rest von Linie x, dann y, und und und...), Das wollte ich definitiv vermeiden.

Wiedererkennungswert ganz gut, diese fiktiven Inhalte finde ich nicht toll, Anbindung an Karlsruhe HBF über Südostbahn und Albtalbahnhof wäre noch toll gewesen

Klasse Map! Der Wiedererkennungswert ist sehr hoch und auch die fiktiven Strecke machen unfassbar viel Spaß. Weiter so!
