I've updated the mod so that players are now only teleported when 2000m below the world (from 200m). This lets custom games handle moving the player back themselves. It's still enabled for all players, as I couldn't think of a good way to include this into the design of the mod. The change is also extremely simple, as I just had to add a 0.
Thank you all for reporting this!
Player protection should be controlled by the option.
even the problem is complicated, this way may work as a stopgap measure
Once sent away, the player will fall many times and will not be able to return.
You can manage to get back to the ground level of the world by using the zip wire in FantMOD.
If the player tries to enter the place where the scrap guard was used, he/she will be sent under the ground again.
pls help cuz i am working on this car and i dont wanna lose it
If it's ON, the protections are changed, if it's OFF, the protections are not changed. So if you want to toggle a protection between ON and OFF, you need a second Scrap Guard with the opposite value.
For example:
Switch -> Scrap Guard (Destructable = OFF)
\--> NOT Gate -> Scrap Guard (Destructable = ON)
it glitches out :( unsubbing
terrible mod
When you turn it off with a switch the mod does not update the body restriction. You have to enable a different part that sets the restriction to the new value you want.
I did this so you can have a Game restriction that disables explosion damage, except for a creation, with the option to enable/disable this using logic.
