a " , " is missing in loottable 2, and a " \\ " in Loottable 3, everyone can fix it by himself easy, its found in the xcomgamecore.ini of this mod, just compare the lines, you see whats missing
Silken Emperor Nov 20, 2023 @ 9:11pm
yeah I noticed weapons disappearing like the traditoinal sword's variants
Eryid Silverclaw May 27, 2023 @ 1:25pm
can you enable this midstream on a campaign?
Kinsect Feb 4, 2023 @ 8:36am
How does this work with covert operations and the weapon and items overhaul?
Dęąth Viper Oct 19, 2022 @ 11:39am
Just finished a campaign with about 685 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.
Palynium Jun 11, 2022 @ 12:46pm
Still seems to have some issues, snipped down due to length being too long.

[Update Notes]
Sorry to keep you all waiting so long. I am checking the maintenance and errors of the mod, and this mod is my first target.

-Fixed a broken TLE weapon appearance probability in the Black Market. (The overall odds should be 100, which I modified too poorly at the time)
TROCH22 May 6, 2022 @ 11:44am
@Zoinho1 open up XcomGameCore.ini in this mods config folder. You will see a bunch of entries with "Chance". You can adjust those values however you like.
Zoinho1 Nov 17, 2021 @ 8:55am
@Bantichai how you increased the probability chance?
tha peng Nov 7, 2021 @ 3:59am
would really like it if their prices were configurable
Red110 Jan 31, 2021 @ 5:23am
LWOTC version?
Bantichai Jan 26, 2021 @ 4:11am
For those that are wondering, I can confirm it works, I set all the chances to 100% and I got at least 1 instance from the loot table group.
Scroller Dec 5, 2020 @ 5:38am
@Des - WOTC is one of the mod requirements.
Desmond Dec 3, 2020 @ 10:04am
does it work with wotc?
Scroller Dec 6, 2019 @ 11:57am
How can you tell if the mod is actually working? I have not had a single weapon on the black market in around two dozen visits over more than one playthrough. Is there any way that the mod could have something added (something not normally on the list) to it that would guarantee the appearance of something on the market? If so, we could then be pretty sure that it is doing something.
Nasarog Nov 3, 2019 @ 2:32pm
These never showed up for me in the blackmarket either.
Valvatorez(Cox Cable = awful ISP May 18, 2019 @ 8:12pm
I'd also like to know if this a mod conflict. It might be the TLP unlocker that prevents them from showing up.
mynameactually Feb 13, 2019 @ 4:22pm
Do you have to complete TLP campaign for these to show up, or will they show up regardless?
Jorkie Jan 20, 2019 @ 12:52am
2 month in the campain diden t saw any weapon at the blackmarket. Is it just a chance or do i have a mod conflict ?

Nice mod idea btw and yes 150 intel would be a bit more balanced.

Thank you for your work
neIVIesis Jan 11, 2019 @ 12:31pm
Is this mod to some degree redundant with the INFINITE TLP weapon mod? It seems to me both integrate the same weapons in the same campaign, but from different perspectives
buchanan.johnd Jan 10, 2019 @ 12:59am
How do we change the intel cost? 40 seems game-breakingly low.
Gouf Jan 9, 2019 @ 11:02pm
should have balance them by making it more expensive
KommissarFrank Jan 4, 2019 @ 9:43am
Does this clash with mods that gives everyone access to TLE weapons? I ask cuz this mod would be absolute kino if it allows everyone to use (un-modded) Tier 1 TLE guns while keeping the fancier ones (Mag/Plasma) in the Black Market.
Alterd-Rushnano  [author] Jan 1, 2019 @ 10:43pm
@mynameactually
Yes. Even if your Avenger's technology does not meet, you can equip advanced TLE weapons through the black market. And can lose it like an alien Hunter weapon- If a soldier with the weapon is left on the battlefield after KIA
mynameactually Jan 1, 2019 @ 9:41pm
If you’re using a weapon that’s above what the rest of your squad is using, tech wise, is it possible to have enemies target the Solider who’s using it as a priority?
mynameactually Jan 1, 2019 @ 9:37pm
So this mod lets you buy TLE weapons individually? Not as upgrades, right? If the soldiers using them are lost on a mission, that means we lose that weapon, right? Seems like this would be good to have with the Item durability mod.

You also have to remember that XCOM 1 was a closed ending which meant the only way to successfully keep the narrative going/leave it open ended was to have a game in between the start and end of XCOM 1, or rewrite the story. It sucks for those who loved the story but it alllows the devs to do more in the long run. If you didn't know T'leth is sleeping beneath the ocean and XCOM 1's story didn't leave any room for that plot to grow. XCOM 2 and the WOTC DLC now leave the world in a situation where the aliens lose but are still around and T'leth is ready to be reintroduced to the series. It's also highly likely that Firaxis had no clue how successful the XCOM 1 reboot was going to be so they just had a nice closed epic end.
neIVIesis Jan 1, 2019 @ 11:25am
@koyak I align with Option 2. Everything in XCOM 1 happened. XCOM fell. And XCOM 2 is the resurgence of XCOM with the Commader recovered.

I am actually reading the XCOM novel that takes place between both games, and so far nothing indicates option 1 is canon....

In regards to this mod, I am yet to see any weapons in my market. I'll keep trying it every month.

I suspect the Elders flat out cheated. So called masters of time and space push humans to rapidly advance until they see the desired results: a species adopting psionics for the first time in their evolution. But, it bites them in the ass.

The humans use psionics and new technologies to kick ass. The Elders just don't have the same tactical minds for warfare. Although they are still self proclaimed masters of time and space. So they send a message back through time to not slow play the invasion of Earth. The humans have the genetic traits they've been looking for, and superior minds for war. Don't give XCOM a chance to mount a defense in round 2.
mystermask Dec 31, 2018 @ 7:58pm
I pick the option 2, too much people die during my playthrough of XCOM
kojak Dec 31, 2018 @ 7:43pm
They didn't think hard about making it fit, kinda like Return of the Jedi/The Force Awakens/The Last Jedi.

So you have 2 options you can mentally go with.

1) use what the developers said. 95% of the game didnt happen, the commander sucks at his job, you lost the very first base defense mission.

2) All of XCOM happened. However all they did was prevent the Elder's Plan A, and all of the best soldiers (including the psionic chosen one) were on the ship and never came back. Their plan B was an all-out counterattack while XCOM was focused on preventing the apocalypse. The Commander saved the world but lost in doing so.

pick your poison. Like i said, firaxis didn't care about making it fit, so they just wrote off the first game. They CAN fit, easily, but they didn't bother, so you have to have headcanon.
Master Z Dec 31, 2018 @ 6:05pm
Nice mod, but if you have to pay 150 Intel it whould be much more balanced...
Sursion Dec 31, 2018 @ 9:45am
@neIVIesis

Completely wrong. The canon ending of XCOM 1 is that the aliens invaded XCOM headquaters only a few months after the war began and the commander was captured.
neIVIesis Dec 31, 2018 @ 7:16am
@d_valroth so wait, XCOM 2 is supposed to be an alternate timeline?

I understood it was a continuation, and that the victory of XCOM 1 was only a defeat on a scouting force. The full invasion came later...
Arkhangel Dec 30, 2018 @ 5:56pm
@Valroth: They rushed Psionics and Firestorms (since Geist and the Crashed Firestorm on a map are things XD )

I kinda had Shen Sr. give a reason for all my LW1 MEC Troopers as being part of a last-dtich "Cyber Corps Initiative" that was done alongside/derived from the SPARK program... just means the XCOM 2 MEC Troopers (and Musashi's Augments) is Lily finally getting around to what her Dad meant to do.
d_valroth Dec 30, 2018 @ 5:18pm
@nelVlesis: XCOM fell early in this timeline, well before plasma. They didn't even have MELD yet, which is why Shen finished the SPARK as a pure robot and focused on upgrading Julian, which never happens in EW. Also they lost contact with Vahlen after the base fell which was about the end of their research. Any laser weapons would have been prototypes, and any plasma would be stuff reverse engineered after the fall.
Rockfire ✘ Dec 30, 2018 @ 5:09pm
Finally an actual use for the blackmarket, if only we saw more of these, like random advent weaponry, ice nades.. etc
Pineapple~Salad Dec 30, 2018 @ 7:50am
Huh, a reason to not use infinite TLP weaponry, Now i'm probably going to modify the weapon's stats a bit in order to /slightly/ differentiate them from their actual tiered counterparts.

With this, you can gather dupes yes?
neIVIesis Dec 30, 2018 @ 7:21am
Nice addition, installing.

Lore-wise, at the conclusion of XCOM 1 we had laser and plasma weapons. So it makes sense that after the fall, we lost the ability to manufacture them again large scale, so some weapons survived from that time and made it to the black market.

"Although this may dramatically reduce the difficulty of the game, it will suit the taste of some players who value canon."

Also seems really useful if you're playing with other mods that increase the difficulty a lot.
