yeh i got issues with animations as well....everything else works.....spose i cant complain given last update in 2019

I would love this mod, if it just made the vanilla tek dinos craftable. It looks nice, but I really dont need them to be bigger or stronger. I just need the blueprint option, for making the vanilla ones in the 3 obelisks and city terminals + the blueprint drop from killed tek dinos like enforcers.
But I really like the idea of them consuming element dust, just like the enforcers, instead of food. That part makes way more sence to me.

Anyone have a fix for the animations not working with the dinos? We just built a tek Steggo on my server and it "glides" over the ground instead of walking, (basically none of it's animations play), just wondering if anyone knows a fix?

Hey, sorry if this has been asked, but is it possible to have this mod coincide with Project K, where you get the engram from killing creatures from Project K? I find it fun and challenging to limit your own dinos to only those that you can craft, and not tame

Doesn't work on tek trikes - they still spawn on no other maps than Genesis, and won't be converted to your version. However everything else seems to work great, so great mod.

Ever since the last update of a few days ago my giga went to lvl 1
I killed it used a new lvl 194 blueprint and next day i login its lvl 1 again...

It's automatic because the vanilla versions already have built in, increased levels.

Im thinking of adding this mod to my server, but on my server wild dino max lvl is up to 15.000! Does it change automatically or is there a .ini-setting? Sorry for my bad german english XD

it does work on all maps its just expensive due to trying to balance it for the extinction map vs other maps

could you make them just like the regular tek dinos and by that i mean 20% higher maxlevel regular size becuase the camera is wierd and implement the mosa. Just a friendly request and thanks for reading this ;)

Really like that you made Tek dinos unique instead of just simple reskins giving them a use. Just as others have said the size increase seems unneeded and a bit restrictive maybe like 10% to 15% but I think you made them so much better just by giving them a use. Just my opinon I just dont like altering INI files in mods. Really great mod just the same.

hey Stuccy, are you referring to there damage towards corrupt dinos or their damage in general? as currently they are intended as part of the mod to have 4 X multiplier on corrupt to suite the extinction map and be an alternative for fighting the drops and they fit this well at their current multiplier that matchs the enforcers. or do you simply mean there 10% buff to damage in general?

Are you able to create another mod like this one but with the vanilla stats? just so for those wanting to create a close to vanilla style server we could have your mod without them being super op. This mod is by far the best tek dino one out there :) keep up the good work!

If you want more element dust you can use the simple spawners mod and set a resource spawner with type element dust vein which itself is completely configurable in terms of quantity, area, harvest amount etc. It does a whole lot more too.

Well, to answer my own question, Yes, it is working in Abberation.

Current Issue I have noticed though: They are Untameable. And at the cost of 1k Element dust to make the crafter, you have to MASSIVELY kill the TEK Dinos for what little tiny bit you get from harvesting the TEK dinos, because there is no other way to get Element Dust in Any map other than Extinction... I was hoping I could tame a couple, have them reproduce so I could harvest the babies for the resources to make the better stuff.. But yea, no.

there is this weird bug that sometimes people craft dinos, the resources are taken but the bluepring stays and the dino its not crafted

Though I do know that when I tried removing this mod the level 1 dinos went back to their normal levels. There is a chance that their stats were correct and I just couldn't tell, but I would have to double check that.

@Royalialty Never had that problem with tamed TEK-dinos! Are you sure, that you don't have any other dino-related mods installed? At our server they are WILD sometimes at Lvl 1 displayed, but its just a visual bug, if the wyvern is a 180 you will fight a 180 - not a lvl 1 - eventhough it looks like one. My Server auto-restarts every 12 hours and none of our teks evere happened to be lvl 1 after that. Maybe you have to check your mod-list!

perhaps new tek creatures with different abilities, maybe like a tek wyvern that shoots a high damage, fast moving plasma shot. or a Tek Therizinosaurus that can harvest element nodes.

@ BaamAUnicorn This is a problem with tamed tek dinos. Their level will become 1 and their stats seem to reset (maybe not all stats?), but when they die or similar it displays their original level.

I'd like to thank you for your frequent updates! It looks like we dont have anymore any issues with the mod (Teks not dropping blueprints). Sometimes the Tek Dinos are displayed as Lvl 1 if you find them wild. Whatsoever, the S+ Tek-Transmitter displays the real Lvl and before fighting a Tek-Giga we simply check it on the Transmitter.

i have checked all the references in the mod and made sure they are all accurate and connected correctly. the only time dinos usually reset to level 1 is when a status component is changed the only thing I can think of that would cause this randomly is if the mod is unloaded from a map and the server is run with the vanilla versions again. as the status competent is replaced in this mod which holds all the data relating to their damage, health etc. I am recompiling the mod and uploading it now encase any recent updates to ark have effected the mod hopefully this will resolve any issues. as none of the status components have been recently replaced on my end.

Hey. Great mod. Question for you. Is there a setting to make crafting cheaper ?. I wanted to run a mod for higher lvl dinos & i think the crafting cost might get out of hand. Also what does the wipe vanilla dinos on the crafter do >?. wipe all vanilla dinos leaving only tek alive ?.

not everyone seems to have the issue and the issue only seems to arise if the mod is not in first load order so I just added in this function and so that its not running unneccesary on servers that dont have the issue

I agree :) Probably won't be an issue anywhere. Though if it's the design of the mod to do away with the original tek dinos, shouldn't the autoremoval option be baked in in the crafting station instead of it being a choice?

@caelum the design of this mod is to not have vanilla tek dinos spawning at all and in principle they shouldnt actually spawn when this mod is in place but due to the ark dev kit setup with bionic dinos its causing this issue I believe. It wont affect tamed dinos and realistically that should be an admin server decision not a per tribe decision thats really not something for me to comment on.

Hey Van, cheers on your continuous effort and attention to the mod :) I think Remm asks something in the idea of when there are multiple crafting stations with multiple tribes on the server and one doesn't want to use the killing of normal tek and the other just puts it on.
