Is there a way to change inherit immorality back on in the game rules if I edit the text save file?
Jeremy Lin Feb 23, 2023 @ 7:15am
Hey is there agot version as well the co trait one?
truelove101992 Dec 5, 2020 @ 10:54pm
Well immortality seems to work the same way (trait based, unaging, etc), but no, no mods like this for ck3 yet it seems.
amoral minority  [author] Dec 5, 2020 @ 9:15am
@truelove101992 I wasn't thinking about it. I don't even know how immortality works in CK3. Has nobody tried making something like this yet?
truelove101992 Dec 4, 2020 @ 7:02pm
Makes sense. Btw, do you plan on making a version of this for ck3?
amoral minority  [author] Dec 4, 2020 @ 12:56pm
@truelove101992 it could have gotten disabled after their birth.

A mod self-disabling is only a thing that seems to happen with one of my mods. When it's disabled, it breaks the game, and people report this as a bug, so that's how I know about it.
It could well be that they all just disabled that mod themselves by mistake and refused to admit it.
In which case your issue would be caused by something else.
truelove101992 Dec 2, 2020 @ 10:55pm
Didn't know that was possible, thanks! Though I wonder why it didn't affect children as well.
amoral minority  [author] Dec 2, 2020 @ 8:50pm
@truelove101992 could be a case of the mod disabling itself
truelove101992 Dec 2, 2020 @ 2:00am
Doesn't seem to be, since it happened to all grandchildren onwards (almost 3000) all at once after almost three centeries, and I've had no people outside of my court inside it (incest only challenge run). It seems to have self-corrected though after I reloaded to a save from an in-game month prior, so ended up not having too much of an issue to the game.
amoral minority  [author] Nov 30, 2020 @ 12:37pm
Infidelity?
truelove101992 Nov 29, 2020 @ 8:49pm
My decendents from grandchildren onwards suddendly lost their immortality.
Putti I Aug 7, 2020 @ 4:23pm
My characters dies of natural age with this mod. without its endless. Always around 112 age.
amoral minority  [author] Feb 16, 2020 @ 1:35pm
@Genseric123 yes, I think so
Genseric123 Feb 16, 2020 @ 7:17am
are you planning on transferring this mod over to CK3 when it comes out?
amoral minority  [author] Jan 18, 2020 @ 11:26am
@The Dark Lord Revan yes
The Dark Emperor Jan 18, 2020 @ 11:24am
@Buzhidao Does it also work like that for anyone not you who has immortality?
The Dark Emperor Jan 18, 2020 @ 8:29am
@Buzhidao Thanks
amoral minority  [author] Jan 18, 2020 @ 12:52am
@The Dark Lord Revan right-click on your portrait. It's invisible when the power wouldn't have any effect.
The Dark Emperor Jan 16, 2020 @ 4:43pm
How do you activate "Immortal Blood"
Candesco Oct 26, 2019 @ 4:32pm
There is also an other mod which adds immortality to your char and also passed it to your children, which would just normally grow up and also changes the portrait. I use that one myself and in my current game my char is immortal and my heir as well. You might try that one @ Meneazus. I think it's called ckii cheat menu.
Omniburg Apr 4, 2019 @ 1:32pm
This is what I have been wishing for. Thank you.
amoral minority  [author] Mar 18, 2019 @ 4:29pm
@Meneazus if you set the inheritance via a game rule, then no.
On the second issue - maybe you tried to mess with the global flag that enables immortality inheritance? Remove the "Immortal" traits from the children and they should get their adult portraits.
Galidraan Mar 18, 2019 @ 3:12pm
Is there a way to remove the game rule that adds immortality inheritance? For some reason all my immortal characters that, obviously, inherited immortality retain the child portrait at age 16 and so on, it wasn't happening before, though.
amoral minority  [author] Mar 9, 2019 @ 1:40am
@thesnowfox84 that wasn't me xD
thesnowfox84 Mar 8, 2019 @ 7:17pm
I don't know if this was you or the game but it's still to funny! :steamhappy:

TumblevisionTTv Feb 11, 2019 @ 10:11am
thanks bro ive been avoiding makin myself immortal with cheats cuz didnt wanna be too cheap lol. But if its in the game i feel differently. I want a house of immortals.
amoral minority  [author] Feb 10, 2019 @ 7:26am
@Lt. Col Mel Gibson yeah, there is an event chain that was added with "Reaper's Due" (you don't need the DLC for it to fire). You just need to have supernatural events turned on in game rules.
TumblevisionTTv Feb 10, 2019 @ 7:03am
is there a natural way in game to become immortal o.o?
amoral minority  [author] Feb 6, 2019 @ 3:37am
My new bugfix mod which fixes the "Introduce Heir to Realm" event chain.
amoral minority  [author] Feb 5, 2019 @ 10:00am
@Rams I don't understand - what's stopping you from copying the files from the archive and creating your own .mod file? As long as you don't post it anywhere, nobody's going to care.
Rams Feb 5, 2019 @ 9:19am
Can you share a direct download link? That would allow me to tweak it a little without harassing you with edits and updates
Mekkie Jan 19, 2019 @ 10:16pm
Oh ok.. yea i got it working when i was ill, thought I just missed it ^^
amoral minority  [author] Jan 19, 2019 @ 6:22am
@Mekkiepoo I think I might have missed the "maimed" trait, will update in a moment
Mekkie Jan 19, 2019 @ 4:32am
How do you use the power? It's not in the menu when i click myself.. i'm maimed and in need of some of that Deadpool magic :3
amoral minority  [author] Dec 20, 2018 @ 1:31am
@Genseric123 that is unlikely - this mod is compatible with everything
Genseric123 Dec 19, 2018 @ 6:41pm
For some reason the combination of this mod and the Ragnar Bloodline Mod appears to break the Legendary Journey events
Lemmiwinkz Dec 13, 2018 @ 11:00am
nice, thank you
amoral minority  [author] Dec 13, 2018 @ 10:51am
@Lemmiwinkz Children will get their adult portraits when they're 16 and stop aging after that.
Lemmiwinkz Dec 13, 2018 @ 9:10am
thanks for creating the mod, nice for my fluffy immortals and saves me from overusing cheat menu.
quick question: will immortal children grow up ?
Aderrion Dec 13, 2018 @ 4:27am
This mod was made for me. I play a lot with the immortal traits. I'll test it now
amoral minority  [author] Dec 6, 2018 @ 1:55pm
Update: I've locked immortality inheritance behind a game rule. If you still want your children to be immortal, open your console and enter set_flag op_immortal_inherit or set it via a game rule at the start of a game.
amoral minority  [author] Dec 6, 2018 @ 11:46am
@Orangetotodile I am thinking about it. I was bored yesterday, so I decided to write this part in, and then Paradox released their 3.0.1 update (which made this mod possible), so I released the mod in a hurry.
Orangetotodile Dec 6, 2018 @ 11:01am
I really like being able to go back to a younger age and recover from permanent injuries, but I feel like immortal children is too far. Especially now that there's a bloodline that gives your children a bit of a benefit. Is there a good way to not have that part?
John Morrowind Dec 6, 2018 @ 8:18am
Pretty cool....
