Been playing for many years and I just discovered this mod. Makes Shogun 2 feel like Shogun 3 at times, the entire map has been expanded, battles are more challenging, ai is smarter,..etc
I was shocked when i saw the AI enemy general standing back and holding some of his elite troops in reserve while attacking my frontline in mass with militias peasants.. He waited for the right moment then unleashed his reserves of veteran Ashigarus and some Samurais on my weakest flank.. I actually lost that battle lmao
As Chosokabe, it took me 9 hours to slowly expand in Tosa and through hardship, sweat , blood and tears.. and mainly vassal and allies, I managed to finally subdue my biggest rival the Ichijo clan. It was an epic long struggle and battles. Then I realized I didnt even barely scratch the surface and only acquired 2 castles in Tosa. 10/10 ! I give this mod one of the highest praises ever.
Anyone know what's going on?
idk that's interesting concept but not more.
it needs a lot of work to grow up into something really good
I also have a problem with recruiting "yari ashigaru veterans", when I upgrade a building, the game stops showing them in the recruiting bar
Once upon a time I played the pirated version. Cool mod. Now I tried to install it on the Steam license. I did it according to the instructions. But the game works without a mod. On the right in the corner of the game screen it is written (modded) but the game is original.
Portuguesse are limited to otomo unless You use the nanban for all extra
That said ikko ikki is hated by lot of clans and starts fractured, so yes it's really really hard.
Yet they have some bonuses. Their ashigarus have extra units and that is a lot when you have missile troops. Also you can abuse the ikko spread.
About uprising you mean the unrest? Well you have the religions and unrest. Your buildings transform your provinces to your religion, reduce unrest or increase unrest. If your province is another religion you get a negative happines, but if it's full unrest the negative happines is even worst. Not that taxes generate unrest aswell.
So the tips:
Have an strong religion
Do not overtax
Unrest spread, so you might want anti unrest provinces surrounding pro unrest provinces (high eco town with a gold mine surrounded by farm towns for example).
