All you need to do is use RimPy to make a local copy of the mod, then edit its ABOUT file to have 1.5 as one of its supported versions. And it should work. In fact, I'll go do that right now.

It does list Weapons+ as supported.

@Chernov You think so? I think I used pretty high-quality textures, but maybe the in-game scaling is distorting them somewhat. If you have any ideas about what I can do to fix that, I'm all ears.

I like this but textures aren't great, especially Sabre is so pixelated that it looks like a minecraft

@TheLamb Ask CE about it. I don't use CE, and therefore, don't support using this mod with it. If it works at all with CE, it's because they patched it to work.

Hi. There is a little problem with compatibility with CE. When both enabled you can't create kunai.

@BamboozleBallet Ah, good to hear. Thanks a ton! That should mean that I just need to get around to bumping the version number, and it'll be good.

Please do let me know if you have any problems with it, though. I'm quite busy, (and rather lazy), but I do want to make sure this mod keeps working.

OK I worked out what it was, its a conflict with Modern Warfare Weapons, a mod I wanted to disable anyway, after disabling it an excellent zweihander is 15.38 dps and 61% armour penetration.

Sorry for the delay, I finally just enabled the mod, (I had too many weapon mods so I've been sifting through them) and this seems to mostly work but the weapons are coming out with lower than expected DPS.

A pawn just crafted an Excellent steel Zweihander, DPS:- 7.67 with 30% armour penetration.

A standard steel zweihander's DPS as listed in the fuelled Smithy is 12.78 with 51% armour penetration.

So yes, something seems off.

@Balthazad Take a look at the Mod "Cherry Picker". It let's you remove parts of a mod in a clean and simple way. Especially in this case, where it's about a couple of weapons. You can make your lite version on the fly and in-game. That is exactly what you are looking for.

@Balthazad Sorry, I don't really have the time at the moment, but feel free to make a patch that removes them, if you want.

It'd be fairly easy, even for a first-timer. Check out the modding page on the Rimworld wiki, ask around in the Discord, and download some other mods that do a similar thing and use those for reference.

@OneShotPaddy I don't use Combat Extended, so, if somebody gets this mod working with it, it likely won't be me. Last I had checked, though, Combat Extended had an integrated patch for this mod for compatibility.

Apologies that it took so long to get to this, busy day in the real.

At first glance it appears to work fine, didn't throw any weird errors when the mod was added to the list or threw them into the world. Thanks again for the head's up, I hadn't considered even trying the 'out of date' mods. Forgotten lesson of the 1.2 upgrade, I guess.

I reckon 30 minutes in the CE discord and you can find someone who, unlike me, has modding knowledge and can help you fix the patch so it doesn't throw errors on startup. And fixing the damage, if you wanted to, would be a 10 minute thing at most.

Finally, if you wanted to go all the way with CE compatibility, then adding the ability to use some one-handed weapons with a shield (it's just a tag) would be an absolute blessing and might give you some inspiration to add some new weapons - perhaps a wakizashi?

I also strongly recommend trying CE. It's only a lot of micromanagement if you want it to be, otherwise you can just create a loadout and your pawns will auto equip whatever you want. Most importantly for me, it removes annoying BS like being shot in the foot and your pawn just dies.

With that being said, I looked at the CE patch for your mod, but it was last updated 17 months ago. It throws major errors on startup, but doesn't actually seem to affect the gameplay at all - everything works fine, kind of. Whoever designed the CE patch for your mod was smoking some crack, though. Some of the weapons are useless while others are just beyond broken damage-wise.

@Babushkina_Sphera If you look in the mod's folder, there should be "languages" folder with the German and Chinese Translations laid out in the appropriate manner.

Recipes and smiting texts and stuff also need translated.

Let me know if you can't find the folder, and I could try and get you an exact path to it.
