Yes, there were a few who already asked for this and at least with bits it is doable without too much hassle, but currently I dont have too much free time to spend on this :/ But it is certainly on the todo if I ever come to it! :)

Have you thought about or is it even possible to add certain player defined events triggered with bits and/or tips?

Would love for it to be able to integrate to Mixer streaming too... Any chances for that to happend?

I honestly wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Youtube integration never became a thing. Youtube is literally the devil when it comes to content creators. Sure, some stuck around. But look at how much everyone's ad revenue has gone down, and how much stricter everything has become, that, and at the same time, how Youtube has literally made NO effort in helping their content creators get access to better copyright service. //End of rant.

YouTube does not work, and I personally don't plan to integrate it anytime soon, maybe someone else will :)

@Kaldar5 You can already disable events and/or categories in the settings :)

Let the streamer disable certian events (disease) and you have a huge winner here! Possibly a mechanic to disable continually bad alignment votes too.

This is actually a brilliant idea. The story being altered by the viewers. I wonder if the Game devs might want something like this built into their game some day!

Great mod so far. My friends really love it and it does a great job so far!

Some opinions:

The disease option is too common. My viewers like to bully me, but getting muscle parasites, gut worms, or any sickness in large quantity stifles the game and makes it very boring. I'd rather have back to back raids and have entertainment than my whole colony at a standstill. In 1 game year, I've already had the plague 4 times, 2 muscle parasites, 1 gutworms , and the flu 3 times. It's just not balanced for the base game and is impossible sometimes to keep up medical herb production.

Not enough raid votes. I sometimes very rarely get invasions early on and the choice for vote is pretty rare. I had to turn on a normal story teller just so I could get raids back. In my opinion, raids are what make the game fun and entertaining to watch, and the twitch integration really needs it.

I don't like the added Cyan text to voted events. I like knowing what events people voted for, but most of the text is kind of missing the atmosphere of the game or is out of place.

@Finally^ Turns out I actually did it right, I just needed to relaunch Rimworld apparently, at least judging by the fact that it's sending messages when I call for a vote now and it doesn't say that it's not connected. :P I can't wait to try it with my friends tomorrow. :P

@Coconutsales Since the last update (2018-12-09) the event choosing was refactored, this should positively affect your "always" muslce parasites issue. And I added your suggestion to make diseases more biome related!

@Torne Yes, we have some ideas to integrate this kind of stuff, e.g. sub only votes or vote triggered by bits.

@Bwhyte If you can see your chat message in the mod, then everything should be set up perfectly, you can also try !mods / !alive if you have them enabled, if you still have issues you might want to join our discord where we can help you a bit easier :)

I've been having some trouble getting this to connect with twitch chat, I'm pretty sure I did the whole set up for the Oauth code right and connected to #bwhyte101 on twitch, I mean I sent messages through it and it showed up in chat, but when I hit reconnect it always says the login failed. I typed in the oauth password right and username and all that right I'm pretty sure, is there anything dumb noobs can easily miss or mess up?

I was wondering if you were planning to add a Sub/Resub/Tip option to the Mod, I know many would be interested.

Better yet, it'd be great if disease could only happen in relation to the disease rate of the biome, so you don't end up having your viewers give ya muscle parasites every day.

The diseases option needs more variety, I never get anything but muscle parasites and it always affects every single one of my colonists past lvl 3. :|

Funny enough, just what I was looking for... Will hopefully give this a try soon!

@Varakh It´s basically working together with other mods. For example the new animals of "Alpha Animals" can also be a part of the events. Streamers already playing it with a lot of mods and it´s working. But of course there are maybe some certain mods making problems. :)

Does this work with other mods? Or are you best playing vanilla with this?
