That's fine. Here's a half-finished update. I don't remember what I was changing.

Large mod (developed by the folks at CK2+, I think). It is an attempt to streamline the base game, cut down on bloat, fix bugs, remove redundant code, etc.. Almost every vanilla file is changed, any mods that make changes to preexisting files will need to be updated to work with CleanSlate Here is a link. [forum.paradoxplaza.com]
Somebody Else  [author] Jan 16, 2022 @ 2:06pm
What is cleanslate?
Mr. Kinich Jan 11, 2022 @ 9:43am
Is it alright if I put out an updated version for CleanSlate?
Notorious Choker Jul 25, 2021 @ 7:25pm
This was such a missed opportunity. Almost everything about the mod is amazing but impotence just makes the mod almost unplayable. It just constantly shows up like the plague and I can't seen to remove it anyhow. I love everything else but I just can never survive because of this. It really almost unbearable.
Sidura Jul 18, 2021 @ 8:47pm
I find that impotence is super common. is there a way to lower the changes?
Darkish Feb 24, 2021 @ 5:56pm
Yup working correct, think I was running into an issue with sexual orientation due to another mod. But figure out how it's working, and is working correctly thanks.
Somebody Else  [author] Feb 23, 2021 @ 3:19am
Last I checked the seduce spouse action is still working.

The requirements to seduce your spouse are:
a seducer trait OR family/seduction focus
compatible sexual orientation
not currently seducing another spouse
not lover of the spouse

And I've lost interest in CKII and won't be updating any more.
Darkish Feb 22, 2021 @ 3:42am
Seems like mod is working fine with updates/AGOT, impotence comes up a lot on "bad life style" characters a lot but kinda makes sense and almost balances out the "overlust" males can do in ck2 without even trying.

Is the seduce action working correctly for wife, etc? I think I've noticed it not being allowed in most cases. I made not be looking close enough at trait, or maybe a hidden trait is causing the issue most times.
Pastizzio Jan 25, 2021 @ 11:36am
How do i suduce my wife after she is already my lover?
lalarukh3 Oct 14, 2020 @ 9:15pm
Would it be possible to make at least a lite version of this mod HIP compatible? I figure if I only took the traits it should be fine?
Judicatio Sep 15, 2020 @ 8:50am
how do you disable impotence? can you make a rule about disabling impotence?
Nero's Praetor Sep 13, 2020 @ 6:34am
For some reason, I only get "I don't have the time to seduce anyone" event?
Somebody Else  [author] Feb 8, 2020 @ 5:01pm
Malicron:

Characters with the homosexual trait get attraction bonuses get bonuses for characters of the same sex and characters without the trait get bonuses towards characters of the opposite sex. It's programmed into the game in a way that only Paradox can change it. I have tried and failed.

Digital Fox:

I haven't played the game a lot since I last updated the mod and haven't noticed it. I'll pay closer attention.

Inferno/StrayDogFreedom:

I did notice that. I have started an update that decreases the chances of getting ED and increases the chance it's successfully cured.
Malicron Jan 21, 2020 @ 6:55pm
"Bisexual characters only get attraction bonuses for characters of the opposite sex. I tried to get it for both genders, but it's hardcoded."

What do you mean by "hardcoded"? Given that the game switches which gender a character considers attractive on the fly based on the homosexual trait, there must be some sort of command.
Even in a worst-case scenario where the game demands an either-or approach, it should be possible to make two versions of Bisexual; one that prefers men, and one that prefers women.
Digital Fox Jan 18, 2020 @ 3:03pm
'Added opinion of spouse as a factor in the AI accepting or declining a seduction. Now the AI is less likely to accept if their spouse is their friend/lover or if their opinion of their spouse is above 25, even more if above 75.'

I'm almost certain this doesn't work. I always make sure to max out the opinion of the wife and and it happens with even more frequency if anything.
Bill Nye the Russian Spy Dec 16, 2019 @ 2:28pm
Nice
baneagony Oct 26, 2019 @ 8:05pm
Love the mod, but impotence makes it basically unplayable. Any time a character is stressed out, he will get impotence, and I have yet to ever get rid of it.
StrayDogFreedom Oct 4, 2019 @ 4:27am
I like this mod but the Impotent one just shows up way too often and is too difficult to get rid of. It makes sense for depressed or drunk characters but the frequency is too high. Thanks though, it's great otherwise
Star¤Dagger Jul 5, 2019 @ 12:21pm
It sounds like you have a direction and a purpose now. HIP is the place where all the best players are spending time. If you could make a HIP one, it would add 1000 to your prestige, as well as get you all the girls/boys/enbys you could ever want, lol
Somebody Else  [author] Jul 5, 2019 @ 2:13am
The issue is that HIP makes changes to the seduction system and edits many or all of the vanilla files I changed. I would have to replicate HIP's seduction changes in this mod to maintain internal consistancy and make sure wierd things don't happen when you try to seduce people.
Star¤Dagger Jul 1, 2019 @ 3:12pm
I'm wondering about HIP, you stated this is not compatible and won't be, is there an issue that precludes this, or other seduce mods, from working?
Somebody Else  [author] Jun 9, 2019 @ 6:40pm
Update:

Changed the sober general opinion malus to be religion and trait based.

Men with matriarchal religions can no longer grant Mistress or Paramour minor titles

Hellenic pagans can grant Mistress and Paramour titles to same-sex lovers.

And I created a beta for a GoT submod that can be manually downloaded in the discussion above.
jorge Jun 9, 2019 @ 6:38am
I seem to have found another bug with AGOT (ik the mod wasn't made for it but I really like this mod as was wondering if you could help me fix this). When choosing the make the eight ambition. It doesn't count as laying with someone if you do not choose to keep them as your lover e.g if you choose to not keep the person as lover after successful seduction it wont tick off the kingdom on the ambition
jorge Jun 1, 2019 @ 4:56am
Yeah, I was only testing as faith of the seven rulers and i soon realised the issue. I went into the files and made it so I could appoint misstresses as a fath of seven ruler. I''ll have to check if other characters have been given the trait next time I play. Cheers
Somebody Else  [author] May 31, 2019 @ 8:25pm
With the mistresses: What is your character`s culture and religion? When I played as a Stark (Old Gods faith and northern culture), I was able to appoint mistresses just fine. When I played as a Targaryan(The Seven and High Valyrian), I wasn`t. That`s because you can`t appoint mistresses if you can have concubines or secondary spouses. Since it`s only available under very specific circumstances and using the ability gives you an opinion malus, I will enable mistresses for that culture and religion combo when I make a specific AGoT submod.
Somebody Else  [author] May 31, 2019 @ 8:25pm
Georg: When I tested it, the traits naturally appear and I can appoint mistresses in AGoT.

When it comes to the traits, you shouldn`t be seeing impotent characters pop up all the time(as it`s a hidden trait), but you should be seeing bisexual and sober characters. You might just be having bad luck. Open up the character finder in-game(if you don`t know how, right click on your character`s portrait and it`s the small circle with two people in it) and enter bisexual in search bar. When I did this, I found plenty of bisexual characters in the realm(try all too). Tell me what you find.

jorge May 30, 2019 @ 6:24am
Hi, I've been trying to get this mod to work with AGOT. Ive put the dependency in the mod file and the traits appear in the ruler designer but the only action i can do is seduce spouse. The mistress title is not available to give and im not sure if the traits are naturally appearing
Somebody Else  [author] May 25, 2019 @ 7:28pm
I won't be able to make a HIP (or other major mod) compatible version in the near future.
Pentasis May 24, 2019 @ 4:36am
Any chance of a HIP compatible version in the future?
Somebody Else  [author] Apr 17, 2019 @ 7:11pm
Just tried it out myself. If you use AGoT and SRR together, the game runs, but you get none of the effects of this mod. However, if you edit the file SRR.mod in the documents/ck2/mods folder and add the line: dependencies = { "A Game of Thrones" }, it will work.

Please note that it is optomized for the vanilla game and not AGoT. I won't be able to make a GoT submod any time soon.
Richard Grey Apr 16, 2019 @ 10:34am
Not sure if this works with the just released version of AGOT. Could not seduce with the trait alone.
Somebody Else  [author] Apr 13, 2019 @ 3:25am
It's a good idea to change the opinion changes for the sober trait to be religion based instead of a general opinion malus. I won't be changing the trait name because the game doesn't always use the most period accurate trait names(using homosexual is the first one that jumps to mind. In the middle ages there wasn't a concept of hetero or homosexuality, but it's in the game because it's for a 21st century audience) and when I hear the word abstinent, the first thing I think of is abstinence from sex, not alcohol.
mlg420NoScopeEbola Apr 10, 2019 @ 2:58pm
I think you should rename sober to abstinent, fits better imo
Pyromaiden ♀ Apr 6, 2019 @ 1:47pm
The teetotaler trait should evoke a positive opinion buff from Dharmic, Muslim, and Christian characters - especially clergy and ones with the Zealot trait.
Somebody Else  [author] Apr 4, 2019 @ 5:02pm
Sorry about the delay Valo. It is compatible with Born This Way at the moment. I do plan on adding a closeted/uncloseted aspect to the gay/bi traits later on by making them hidden when in the closet and visible when out, but don't expect this any time soon.
Somebody Else  [author] Apr 4, 2019 @ 4:52pm
GeneticallyModifiedChair: 7zip won't extract it on my computer too for some reason. Winrar does. Of all the things I thought to test, I never thought the .rar file would be one of them. If it still doesn't work can add a .zip once I figure out the problem with the lesbian mistresses.

Aego0n94: Thanks for testing that. I'll edit the description.

Rorschachlnk: The mistress/paramour titles don't appear for religions with concubinage or polygamy. The logic behind it is that if your culture accepts concubinage/polygamy, you wouldn't have a mistress, you'd have another wife or concubine(now that I think about it, this logic shouldn't apply to same sex couples, I'll change it in the next update). With the Ultra Queer and Gender Equality rules on, you should be able to appoint a lesbian mistress. I'll test it out and hopefully get to the bottom of it.
RorschachInk Apr 4, 2019 @ 9:57am
I am finding it confusing for when the paramour/lesbian mistress titles will appear. Is it religion based? It was not there when I was play a pagan. I found it as a Christian, but not consistently. You just need to have Ultra queer and gender equality on, right? I am confused. Thanks for any help.
aeg0n94 Apr 4, 2019 @ 9:39am
@Somebody Else: Works fine with AGOT latest version for me. Just came here to thank you for your mod
robin Apr 3, 2019 @ 11:17pm
The .rar file linked through reddit doesn't extract properly for me. I tried 7zip and free rar extract frog.
Valo Mar 7, 2019 @ 8:35pm
does this work with Born this way

Since Steam disapproves of posting direct download links, this mod now has its own subreddit. If you're having trouble downloading it from Steam, go to the subreddit linked on the right and the download is in the only post.

The ED trait isn't available in the ruler designer just like how you can't give yourself the flu or cancer with it. It's also a hidden trait because ED isn't immediately visible and men generally don't advertise their impotence. It's only visible to people who have the trait and their spouses/lovers.

It's added by random events in-game. If you want to get it and try it immediately you can console it in either by firing the event SRR.1 (getting it by old age) or SRR.2 (stressed/depressed/drunkard). Or you could just use add_trait impotent.

Link Targaryen Jan 27, 2019 @ 12:54pm
Is this compatible with AGOT?
Somebody Else  [author] Jan 23, 2019 @ 8:20pm
Update:

I fixed the issue with mistresses randomly resigning. And, in the event that something weird happens and she loses the title, I changed it so your wife only gets angry at you the first time it's given.

I added opinion of spouse as a factor in the AI accepting or declining a seduction. Now the AI is less likely to accept if their spouse is their friend/lover or if their opinion of their spouse is above 25, even more if above 75(acceptance 2x less likely at 25 opinion, 4x at 75). However, they are more likely to accept if their spouse is their enemy or their opinion is below 0 or -50.

I incorporated the bisexual trait into the carousing event chain where it turns romantic and the "Who am I dreaming of" childhood event.

I made an addition to the seduction event chain for when you seduce people with ED (with an option for both the seducer with ED or the seduced with ED)
Somebody Else  [author] Jan 22, 2019 @ 9:37am
The AI should be able to appoint mistresses. Although I haven't seen an AI ruler do it yet. I might need to add an AI only event that does it.

"It gives a slight health bonus and a -5 general opinion malus. Nobody likes a teetotaler. "

"Nobody likes a teetotaler."
